We came back to give the restaurant a second chance after our initial visit was sub par. This time we picked our food up to go. The service was good but the burger was to be cooked Medium Well but instead the burger patty was extremely over cooked...charred to be precise. There was no attention to detail in making this meal. We've ordered plenty of times from Glory Days and had good food and service. The wings are normally consistently good. Today I ordered online to pick up fire grilled wings in honey bbq sauce. We get them home, there's no sauce and they are slimy and undercooked. It looked like they were only cooked on one side and they were inedible.no carrots or celery. Knowing it was likely just an accident, I called to ask if we could have them redone so we could eat and waited a while on hold. I told the manager the issue (no sauce and undercooked) and asked to make sure they were cooked through this time and well-done. She was accommodating and apologetic. We got our second order home only to find them burnt to a crisp. Literally, they gave us wings that were black. Again, they weren't cooked in the sauce. Ordered via Door Dash and the food arrived cold. Not sure if that is due to the restaurant or the delivery person. I liked how the food came packaged. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger with baked beans. Once reheated he enjoyed the baked beans, but stated the burger lacked in flavor. I ordered a mushroom, onion and Swiss cheese burger with fries. The fries were soggy and the burger was over done. The service was beyond slow, to be fair the pretzel and Mac & cheese bites were good, however that's where it stopped the buffalo chicken sandwich was horrendous and my wife's burger was no where near medium well! So. Stopped in here tonight with my daughter, girlfriend and her daughter. Wasn't super busy, but there was a good amount. A couple of large groups. We sat and ordered drinks. Took a while for the drinks to get to us, even though we saw them sitting at their service station. We ordered our food. Then we waited, and waited, and waited for a very long time. It really was an ungodly amount of time. We waited almost an hour for our food, we didn't order anything special. It was super busy in here either. This was the second time in a row that this establishment wasn't prepared for the people they had in here. Yes there were a couple large groups but they were mainly drinking and had their food. There was a guy that walked in, in front of us. Sat down with a woman, he ate and paid before we got our food. I like this place. Great new restaurant off of Big Bend. My daughter took me here for the first time. They have outdoor seating and they are pet friendly. In addtion there are several TVs outside, so I'm thinking new place to watch sports and relax outside. We only had appetizers, however they were very good. The wannabee shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a bit of a kick to it. The macaroni and cheese bites were also very good, I do wish they had a bit more flavor, a jalapeño option maybe. Recently visited this new location of this chain restaurant in Riverview. There is both indoor and outdoor covered seating. The food and service was good. They have a large cocktail menu of all sorts of alcoholic drinks, beer, wine, sangria, etc. The food is American comfort food. We started with a nacho platter with pulled pork. It was very good. You can also order it with chicken . For entrees, I had a cheeseburger with waffle fries. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, also with Waffle fries. Both were very good. Some of the other menu items available are meatloaf, chicken & waffles, bbq ribs, monte cristo sandwich, seafood and steak. There are plenty of TVs both inside and out. read more

me and my friend decided to come to this place last minute and glory days did not disappoint! when we first walked in, workers asked if we have been here before and we told them it was our first time. when we were sat down, our server Tianey ( idk how to spell it right i'm sorry) welcomed us with great vibes. since they knew it was our first time, one of the female managers came and brought us a free sampler of some appetizers which were very tasty! we ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and it was sooo freaking good. i ordered the glory burger (i got my beef medium rare) and it was one of the best burgers ive had tbh. maybe i was just super hungry lol. our server tianey recommended that we get the bourbon butter cake dessert and im so glad we listened to her. it warm and sweet and literally melts in ur mouth like butter! 10/10 overall im definitely going back on a game day read more

I'm not sure how to rate Glory Days Grill... they call themselves a grill but when you walk in, it's very sports bar-y. Personally I don't like any of the food I've had except the cauliflower wings. The food is a little pricey for the vibes. I would come here because the staff is highly personable, friendly, kind, and so very hard working. I would also come here to just drink but be careful, there's so many people walking around the parking lot they don't even look before walking in front of a moving car. There's just crowds of people standing around in the parking lot, music blasting, and I just don't like that. They act like they're in Ybor. I live in Riverview Florida and this place "used" to be my go to location for wings. Not sure what is going on with the kitchen staff but this place food has gone to the dumpster. I arrive today, 9:00 PM, ask for my usual, 12 buffalo wings, all flats, blue cheese, celery only. After a longer than required wait, my wings come out with "barely" any wing sauce. I mean, the wings were white! I wait for the bartender to finish socializing and ask her if they could please re-toss my wings with an acceptable amount of buffalo sauce. She takes my wings and after a while they come back out with a "side" of cold buffalo sauce and they were obviously tossed with the same "cold" buffalo sauce which they generously provided me a side of. I flag down the food runner who delivered my wings and I state that this is unsatisfactory.l and explain the issue. To what I receive the canned response "Well, we can cook them again". No regards to the fact that they have already gone back once and I have no idea if the kitchen is just going to microwave my order. I politely decline her offer to what she replies, "No, really we can cook them again". Why in God's green earth would I want to give them a 3rd chance to provide me with substandard food and wait even longer, it's already near 10:00 PM. She leaves, visibly annoyed at me.... Wow! You are annoyed at me, your customer who has been waiting for mediocre food for now over 30 minutes. Ok. If you are reading this article and you have read this long. Please do yourself a favor, don't give this business your patronage. Go somewhere else. Glory Day's management: I was told by your staff that "this is weird, there are two managers on shift".... Shame on you for not even approaching me and having a conversation with me. I have faithfully given you my patronage for a number of years and your wait staff is familiar with me and my friends. Obviously you had more important things to do. Noticed. Management: Please save yourself the PR stunt of replying to my review with your boilerplate response of "Please Email us to dive deeper into your visit". You don't care enough about my experience while I was at your establishment, what makes you think that I'm going to give you more of my time by emailing you? Wow! Neil H provided some of the best service we have had in ages anywhere. Extremely personable, very polite. Did not rush us or pressure us. We had the cauliflower pizza and Glory Days Cheesesteak. We did not have to wait for anything and our total time from checking in to walking out was 25 mins. The inside restaurant was pretty cold so make sure you bring a sweater but they do have an outside area although beware the smell of smoke drifting in from people walking by. read more

I've been here a few times and the food is always pretty decent. This visit we had nachos for an appetizer. They were served on a large platter but the toppings were not evenly distributed. For dinner, I ordered the Friday Fish Fry special, which is the half order but it was plenty of food. The fish came out hot, crispy, and flaky. A little if malt vinegar, a spritz of lemon and some tartare sauce made it a pretty tasty bite. Other dishes ordered was a pulled pork sandwich and the Buffalo chicken sandwich, both were consumed swiftly by the respective diners. The restaurant was very busy and we were told that they were short on both front and back of house staff. Been meaning to try this place (Riverview location) for a while! Every time I pass my friends want to go someplace else until I showed them the catchall menu. There was a brief wait and we sat outside as we preferred. I have seen other reviews saying inside is cold and it was. Our server was Kyla and if this review depended on her alone it would be 5 stars! She was so cool, honest and professional. We started with the dry rubbed wings (extra rub) and my dinner companion liked them but I thought they were just ok. In fairness I have been searching for dry rubbed wings as good as I had two years ago someplace else. My companion had the Friday Fried Fish (Haddock) special and it was so good I plan on having it next Friday. Two large pieces of perfectly fried white fish with tartar sauce, delicious seasoned fries and very basic steamed broccoli. When I asked my server she was honest in that she advised she liked the Slammin' Salmon despite the fact there have been a few complaints that it was dry. I told her I would try it if she asked the kitchen to not overcook it. No luck, it was dry and flavorless and not slammin'. It was removed from my bill without question. We finished with the Bourbon Butter cake and my oh my! Gotta try it! I must also mention that the 24oz. Margaritas are only $6 so if in doubt, drink your problems away. They are so tasty I had to ration myself otherwise I would have had multiple before my food ever arrived! I will definitely be back as there are still quite a few items I want to try on the menu. Review is based on window service and wait time since it was just a drive through for pick up. Firstly the young lady at the window was very friendly and pleasantly energentic. It made me feel like she enjoyed working for her employer and that they treated her well :-) Second- she helped me realize that I placed my original order at the wrong location! She took her time to reorder my meal- which kinda sucked, but she made it better with her great attitude! 3rd is the wait time. I was told it was looking like a 25 min. wait and asked to pull into the customer parking area which I did. Meal was out in about double that time buuut its okay. I waited patiently since there were obviously plenty customers with orders ahead of me ;AND I'm gonna add that her great attitude made the wait better. I've been excited to come try this place out since I saw they were building it a while back. I finally got to try it, and was not disappointed! I've lived in Riverview my whole life, and it's a smaller town- so there aren't too many good, sit down restaurants nearby. I love the friendly environment, and the huge patio space outside. They are pet friendly too, so you can bring your doggos and watch the game outside on their big, flat screen TV's! They have TONS of TV's inside too- so it's really great for events like the Super Bowl. I started with the Wannabe Shrimp, and I fell in love! Breaded, crispy shrimp with just the right amount of sweet and spicy! This is an appetizer I get every time I come now. I usually can't handle things that are spicy, but this dish has a great balance. I definitely recommend! I got a Pineapple Mojito to drink, but I was craving some more flavor in it. My waitress recommended adding some strawberry purée to it, and it tasted great! Definitely recommend this to my fruity drink lovers! For my main dish, I ordered the Ranchero Chicken Wrap with a side of Mashed Potatoes. The mashed potatoes surprised me, because they were seasoned really well! Something you don't usually expect from a place serving a variety of bar foods. The wrap was tasty too, and came out quick! Since coming to this restaurant, I met the sweetest waitress ever! Lily is so helpful and such a nice person to talk to. She was great at recommending drinks based on what I told her I liked. Lily was super attentive- even though she had so many other tables, and I really appreciated her! She even brought my dog a bowl of water without me asking, and I just love how personable she is. I request her every time I go to Glory Days now. Her personality and humor just brightened up my day after such a stressful shift at work. The staff is truly so sweet! I love that all of the tables have booths (except for the high tops in the bar area), and it's always clean! Quality service, and a quality community of people working there! I really hate having to leave this review today, but I need to share my experience. We've ordered from this place so many times. We usually get large sides and salad and burgers and up to today I've been happy with it. Not anymore. I just ordered through Uber eats, I wanted a medium rare burger without the onion ring on it. I got the onion ring on it, which is fine because I removed it. But look at the meat... that's so over cooked it's almost like rubber. Not only is it super well done from the inside (which I HATE. No one who asks for medium rare will EVER be okay with well done meat) but it's kinda burnt from the outside. Tastes awful. Okay, so I've been going to the Tampa location for years and I'm from the riverview area. So I was so excited to see Glory days being built close to home! We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday and it was packed! To our surprise, No wait times! All staff were super friendly, and practiced Covid safety measures like wearing masks, sanitizer, gloves when needed. We were seated in a booth quickly and our server was quick, and a pleasure to have! The manager came around maybe 6 times (no exaggeration) to make sure we were good; which was nice since we could sense his excitement but it was a bit much. This location is the only location that offers the pineapple rum drink for $6! Honestly tasted like straight pineapple juice to me but my friends did enjoy the drink. For my second round I decided to switch it up for my classic red sangria. As always, my sangria packed the right amount of alcohol, size and sweetness! What a win. Our food arrived and everything was DELICIOUS! Portion sizes are BIG, and the pricing is just right! Wow, I am so impressed and can't wait to make this my regular spot! So absolutely COLD inside that it is very uncomfortable to sit there. There needs to be a sign posted outside stating that if you intend to sit inside, please bring your snow-suit. Been here a couple times now. Its gotten worse The food is just not good. Its cheap, frozen food which is crazy overpriced. Not a great amount of options. I can deal with some frozen food, but their quality is awful, and everything just has a bazaar, sweet taste. We usually prefer the bar, but there were no seats available, so we sat at a high top. I unfortunately don't remember our servers name, but she was really great. She is the reason for the extra star. Very attentive and sweet.
