Generally do takeout as husband is housebound. Food has been tasty and waiting time generally minimal. This past Fri the wait went beyond messaged pick up time and I placed a call; dinner was brought out almost immediately. Also, Fish fry Friday special price evidently doesn't apply to takeout. It's ok as takeout does carry costs not involved with table service. read more

Not exactly what I would consider decent food for a sports grill/bar the draft selection was limited. The nachos were the most basic nachos I've ever seen. The hamburger was basically raw when it was ordered on the medium scale. read more

Wow! We had never been to a Glory Days Grill and my expectations were minimal, but we were both amazed by our first visit. We went on a Wednesday early evening and the place was really busy but we found room at the bar. My husband had the meatloaf which he loved, and I tried the GDG Crave A Bowl with burrata rice, feta, cucumbers, chick peas... it was AWESOME! Will definitely have that again. Service was good, huge screen tvs everywhere so will be great for game days! read more

Hello .. from "The Restaurant Guy" ... former owner of The Chart Room, Cincinnati Ohio. This place, GLORY DAYS, may turn out to be the gem of Citrus county as far as restaurants go. I say that based on an overall presentation by the restaurant itself, the wait staff, the menu, the food and the service. Plus their weekly specials! We waited until things settle down after their grand opening, and it looks like we waited too long. It was one of the most enjoyable casual dining experiences we've had in a long time. I am now recommending it to everyone. Especially veterans and first responders, since they are offered an extremely generous 25% discount. This restaurant is new, but it's very spacious, extremely clean, the wait staff looks young, yet very attentive and knowledgeable. We couldn't help but be impressed by the menu. Take your time and look it over because it's going to be hard to make your first choice, and you'll leave after taking notes of what other days and for what other restaurant items you will be returning! Very fair prices, very good food and presentation. Even the water was excellent! Fair happy hour prices are constantly offered. Not one single solitary complaint. Don't let a packed parking lot deter you from going in. We almost did that. There's plenty of room and the employees do have to park somewhere. Bob read more

Ordered 6 wing app was very good! Ordered two pork sandwiches, they should take it off the menu. Sandwich was very greasy, pork was extremely dry. Service was ok. read more

The wings are great I love the hickory garlic flavor wings are excellent never ever had any better wings

My first time was today at Glory. Waitress was good, ambience and food also good. The fried fish was amazing! The only down was the time that took for us to get the food, after placing the order; almost an hour. I will come back for the fish tho. read more

Food service and prices are all outstanding. We've eaten there 6 times in the past month and are never disappointed. Highly RecommendEd!! read more

Despite this site posting a 5 star review with my name on it this restaurant is deserving of nothing above one star. When you have a totally in-attentive server who needs reminders for every action she is to take, to a burger that couldn't be more lacking in flavor. When this location first opened there were trainers from other locations that got it off to a positive start. That has changed, and not in a good way. read more

Visited with several friends Friday February 7th. We were there at prime time in the evening and only had a wait of twenty minutes which we spent playing a game of bean bag! A fun feature the restaurant has next to the front entrance to make the wait time fly by. Not the first time I have eaten there and the food is always superb. I had a salad with salmon which was cold and crisp and the salmon was cooked perfectly, not too dry. Will be back! read more

I waited 25 minuites for place to open intended to have fish fry .Everyone that came in after me had their appetizer drinks I watched 5 other couples come in they were seated orders taken I am still waiting .So when I finally got the message that old women seated alone should eat elsewhere I went home made my own meal .LET THAT BE A MESSAGE TO ALL OLD SINGLE WOMEN DO NOT GO TO GOLDEN DAYS GRILL YOU ARE NOT WELCOM E .I WAS THE ONLY ONE SEATED IN THE SECTION WHERE I "WAS PUT DOWN " MYRNIE HOANZL read more

Had a wonderful lunch at our new Glory Days restaurant! Our waitress Emily was friendly and very attentive, never had to ask for a refill on my ice tea, she was on top of it. My Buffalo Chicken sandwich was delicious and the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings were AMAZING! Will be back! read more

We were there last Friday afternoon for the car cruise. Wife and me had the fish dinner. It was terrible.

Thank you, Stephanie N for making my meal go from fine to great! Ordered fish and it was not quite right, asked the waitress if she knew if they had changed the batter and she immediately took my plate and brought me back, within minutes, a great piece of fish. Thank you to the manager for the atmosphere where your waitress can make that decision without having to call you over to confirm it. Will return with the high expectations that you have earned. read more

Service is excellent, the food is good! Very crowded as if everyone in Lecanto is eating there!

Love the GDG Bowls. Love their understanding on Food Allergy (gluten). Love the military discount. Staff is well trained. What I don't like is how COLD they keep this place. Look around and you will see many seniors with coats, sweaters and hats because it's way too cold. We love eating there and we love to leave for the hot temperature outside. This should be fixed. read more

Being in the foodservice industry for decades, I can say this. The food was delicious. As for getting said food, (we sat at the bar), was another story. Though the ladies behind the bar were polite, they obviously lacked standard bartending skills. My wife and I got our menus, had 2 beers. We sat the menus on the tender side of the bar so they would know we were ready to order. It took 10 minutes for me to finally say, "hello..we're ready to order" We placed our order, specifically asked details about my order to make sure it came out as it should. Only one meal came out. We had to ask for silverware. After I almost helped my wife eat her entire plate of wings, I asked the girl if my sandwich was on it's way. She said "oh yeah, just a few more minutes ". We'll being around the business for a minute, I saw her rush to the kitchen. She obviously forgot to order my sandwich and put the "on the fly" to the kitchen. My next beer was on the house because she realized an error on their part. Nice. I appreciate that she addressed the issue Good..right? Not exactly My food came and it was delicious. Even after we had to ask for condiments, salt pepper ketchup etc..some slack service, I was satisfied. Now..get this. We asked for a box for our leftovers, got it, and our bill. Our bill fold, with our card sat in front of them for another 10 minutes or so before I again called her attention. Listen..not a horrible experience, but there is obviously some lack of simple standard here. We saw other folks alot less satisfied than we were, and we are gracious in the knowledge the business. It's very simple here. There is NO good management as far as we see. There are too many inexperienced people working this joint with no management skill backing them. Sad to see such a potential great new spot to the area swirl the bowl too quickly because of this. Good luck guys. Hope you get it together...shot in the foot? read more

First time going to Glory days Grill, was a good experience because of our server Nissa we both had burgers, the burgers was the best we've had in a while, definitely will be goin back, great place!!! 10/10 And hope we get Nissa again as our server read more

What a great experience, First the chili was awesome and the burger salad was fantastic, wonderful wait staff, when my drink wasn't what I thought I was getting they made me a different drink which was perfect read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by there last Saturday night for dinner. This was our first time. It was later so the place was not crowded. My boyfriend got boneless wings and they were horrible maybe liked they were cooked hours ago and have been sitting. They were brought to the table like someone threw them on a plate no presentation at all I ordered the smothered chicken a recommendation by the waitress. It was ok the chicken was not very hot the cheese was barely melted. My mashed potatoes were cold. Overall it's a nice place inside and may be a great place to watch a game. But the food was disappointing. read more

Great service, terrible food. It was freezing in there. I good place to drink and watch a game but not to eat.

We had a great lunch today at the new Lecanto location. Love the option for a vegetarian burger. Food was fresh and the service was awesome considering how busy they were. The inside is decorated nicely with big TVs. read more

It was our first time here at Glory Days in Lecanto Fl. Our server was great. Her name is Chelsea P. Very sweet and helpful. We had a Philly cheesesteak and wings, and an app of fried Mac n cheese. The Philly came with lettuce, tomato, and mayo, which I found bizarre, so I had them take it off so it was just extra cheese, onions, and meat. It was very good! My fiancé liked his wings. The app was good but not fantastic. We also had chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The cake was huge and delicious, but just wished they gave more ice cream. We only got one small scoop. It wasn't enough for the size of the cake. The ambience was nice, a lot of tables and tv's. One manager kind of annoyed us because she passed our table a few times and acknowledged the table behind us and in front of us. She did say "you ok?" once, but didn't even stop. That was the only negative. We definitely would go back to try different foods. The menu is diverse and there's a lot to pick from. read more

My husband and I went for dinner. Service was excellent and so was the food. We will be back. It is bar food and they do a great job. I had their famous hamburger and my husband had the chicken. He loved it and he hates everything and hates going out to eat. read more

The place is clean, the staff friendly and as far as burgers go...fantastic! They have a big menu sure to please most anyone!

What happened to this place? First few visits were great. Now, not enough wait staff, extreme wait time for food, cold food, undercooked burgers. They advertise a discount for veterans and first responders but when asked, said no they don't do that. I'm hoping they bring up the standard of service and quality of food they're serving or we'll have to bow out. read more

We have dined at the restaurant 3-4 times since its opening. Excellent service and food.

had a waitress named jenny who was the best. saw us sitting at bar waiting for table and she helped us in right away. she was patient with us( we didnt order right away) and was very helpful with menu questions and social conversation.we will request her service when we visit again read more

Went here for the first time last night...our server seemed to be somewhat distracted took a little while to get our food when we did get it the Ribeye and Filet Strips, not medallion like the menu stated, they were 3 small strips, anyway we got them blackened and they were cooked perfect and so tasty very pleased with food and overall experience. read more

Things seeming to going downhill here after a couple of excellent experiences in the first couple of months. Part of the problem is they seem insistant at keeping the thermostat at 68 degrees when it is 93 outside. Three of the four of us had cold dinners by the time they arrived at the table. Food quality also seems to be going south. Deep fried items overcooked and Cole slaw with a strange taste, combined with a 45 minute plus wait for entrees makes me question whether we will be returning very often. read more

Glory Days has only been open for 3 days at the time of this review. We weren't expecting it to be very good, because it's brand new. WE WERE WRONG!!! Pleasantly, pleasantly wrong! It was fantastic! The service was incredibly good! The drinks were fantastic (we had the regular house margarita (only $6) and it was huge - and it was great --- and it came FAST! We ordered the boneless wings as a starter and they also came fast... and they were the best we've ever had anywhere. We ordered the Burger Sliders and a Buffalo Chicken sandwich (no judgement...I DID have the steamed Broccoli for a side.) Unbelieveably great! ALL of it! Even the Broccoli was steamed perfectly and we couldn't believe how fast everything arrived - and the place was packed - so it wasn't because it was a slow day. We will ABSOLUTELY go back! Our server was great and the owner stopped by our table to see how we liked everything. This place is exactly what our area has been needing. The only other choice of anything close to it was Papa Willies... and we refuse to ever go there again. We are going to be regulars at Glory Days -- and NO, we don't own part of the restaurant - it was just.that.good! Our server was Nissa -- and she was fantastic! High Fives for that young lady! She was articulate, friendly and an absolute pleasure. VERY unusual for this area - she's a treasure! read more

Food was great, beers were cold, and the bartenders were wonderful. Definitely will be back if I'm back down on this side of Florida.

We ordered the chicken and cheese steak diner. The chicken was fantastic. The cheese steak was horrible. The meat was burnt and grisly. It was clumped together with melted cheese that got cold and hardened. Worst cheese steak sandwich I have ever had. read more

Tried the new restaurant and I have mixed feelings. The waiter was good but the food service was off. We waited almost an hour for our food and by then you'll eat most anything. We may try again after it has been open awhile. Big and noisy. read more

T bone steaks were terrible. But as people tell me. You don't order steak at a sports bar. I've learned my lesson

I hate waiting for a table at a chain restaurant. Wife really wanted to stay. Half hour wait. Waitress got us drinks and took order. Last time we saw her. At the 35 minute mark we had enough. Went to McDonald's right next door. read more

We LOVE dining at Glory Days for several reasons. First is that they are service oriented; if they mess up they will definitely make it up to you. Second is that they have a great menu with reasonable prices (and they list the calories too!). Third is a great atmosphere whether you're indoors or outdoors. Tip-- the outdoor seating is "first come, first served" so if there's a long wait, watch for an outdoor table to open up! We are frequent diners; been going there at least once per week since they opened. read more

Great food and good service. Will definitely go back. Waitress was attentive. My husband loved the ribs.

My friend and I went to Glory Days Friday because it is 'Fish Fry Day'. We got there at 11:30am so we could beat the crowd. The restaurant was about half full. I ordered a Caesar salad and a cup of their clam chowdah. My friend ordered the fish and fries. The service was great! We had such a bubbly server. The food took forever to get it. At least a half an hour. My salad came out brown and wilted. The dressing had no flavor. The chowder was really good with large chunks of potato and alot of clams. I sent the salad back and asked for a side salad with blue cheese dressing. The dressing was loaded with sugar and barely edible. I would not recommend this place to eat. There are so many other restaurants around that have much better food. read more

Service was great, friendly . Food was very good. Would definitely go again if in the area. Tables are a little too close together.
