This time I was in here for the shepherd's pie. From being here before, I'd seen someone else order it and noticed it comes in a mini cast iron; he serving option alone is already promising. The shepherd's pie is absolutely delicious, no notes. The mash on top was broiled with just enough crisp, so smooth and creamy underneath. The ground meat below was cooked hot with smoke, and every bite was hearty and rich, with noticeable touches of herb. I don't like peas, so the shepherd's pie here coming with carrots instead makes it even better for me, and the crispy shallots on top give an occasional crunch. So far I've tried three dishes here, and I've been happy with all of them. These dishes are the kind I'd come back for, but this really solidifies the impression that most, if not all, of the menu would be worth trying. Pair that with the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxing atmosphere, and this is for sure a top pick.

The menus were kind of old and a little soiled so if the food is good here I will never know because I wouldn't touch the menus. Sat at the bar and asked for the name of a beer they had on tap. She gave me a generic answer and it turns out she was right. It was just called Channelside IPA. Still the interaction wasn't very pleasant and in fact was a little awkward. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. The experience was Meh. The beer was good though.

My wife and I went to Bubba's 33 today, and overall, we had a solid four-out-of-five experience…read more The food was phenomenal! I had the mushroom burger, which was absolutely delicious, especially with the raspberry spicy sauce served on the side. The French fries were loaded with bacon, cheese, and green onions, and they were fantastic. My wife had the baby back ribs as a starter, and she really enjoyed them as well. We did experience some service issues at the beginning of our visit. We waited approximately 15-20 minutes before anyone came to serve us. When we finally ordered our drinks, we were initially given water instead of the drinks we requested. Our server, Vicky, seemed a little distracted during her shift. We also noticed another table waiting for their drinks to be taken out after they had finished their meal. Vicky appeared visibly frustrated while carrying the tray, and one of the drinks spilled. We even saw some other guests leave because of the wait. That being said, Vicky was very pleasant when we interacted with her, and we understand that everyone can have an off day. Hopefully, this can be viewed as an opportunity to stay just a little more focused and attentive to the customers at the tables. Then Blake, the manager, completely turned our experience around! Blake was extremely welcoming, friendly, funny, and genuinely concerned about making sure my wife and I were taken care of. He smiled, communicated with us, listened to our concerns, stood there and made sure we were comfortable, and even went to the back himself to help get our order. Blake is definitely an asset to the Bubba's 33 organization. His willingness to personally step in and take care of us made all the difference. He left us with smiles on our faces and feeling extremely satisfied. Blake offered us a discount on our meal, which we did accept, and he also asked if we wanted to take additional food home with us. We initially declined the takeout offer. However, after the great experience we had with Blake and how professionally and genuinely he handled everything, my wife and I decided to order additional food and pay for it ourselves to take home to our two adult children who were at home. What started with some disappointing service issues ended with us feeling valued and appreciated as customers. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but what really matters is how a business responds to those mistakes. Blake handled the situation exceptionally well and made a tremendous difference in our overall experience. We left Bubba's 33 with full stomachs, smiles on our faces, and a genuine appreciation for Blake's hospitality and professionalism. We will definitely be coming back to Bubba's 33--not only because of the phenomenal food, but because of Blake. He is truly an asset to the organization! Thank you, Blake, for taking such great care of my wife and me. We sincerely appreciate everything you did!

Which I ended up having to wait 10mins as it was not ready. I think asked the host for a drink due to my inconvenience and having to wait (which I feel was not a big ask) she responded and said she can't. So I asked for a manager whom I spoke with Marcel and MICHAEL the on duty managers who then said my food just came up but this regarded the drink that I asked for. As a person in customer service especially corporate this was very unprofessional and their was not one once of empathy towards me and not to mention the attitude the girl had towards me from the time I walked to the host stand. So I got my food finally 17 minutes later and they forgot my jalapeño that came with my order haven't waited so long you would of thought they would had double checked the order before brining it to me. Not the case. So I the get all the way home ready to eat my food to see that all three of my tacos were extremely brunt at this point I am furious having drove all the way back home and to now have to drive and waste unnecessary gas that I should not have had to is beyond ridiculous. I get there speak with both of the guys and tell them this is unbelievable and unacceptable and I clearly wanted a refund. From start to finish this experience got worse and worse. I told MICHAEL the issue and both of the had no regards to how unhappy I was have not type of empathy and made me feel even worse as a customer. I really feel like the kitchen people were trying to be funny with my order. Even with me face to face and expressing to them both the lack of empathy they had towards me and my inconvenience they still gave none. So he went processed the refund and then wants to come back and give me the receipt and a free chips and salsa like the fact that asked for a measly drink from hump that thy could not even accommodate me is diabolical and to think after how I was treated that I would even want to support this business absolutely not. I literally was just telling my cousin how good they were and not I and forced to banned them completely due to the lack of customer service. As a major corporation you would think they would make things right for the customer so that it would not escalate to this measure but sadly this is the route I have to go to. In order to be seen and heard. This company handled this situation so distasteful. The restaurant literally flipped the issue so they made themselves look as if they did nothing wrong. As a company there was no accountability from upper management on how they restaurant made me feel they did nothing to show any type of empathy and accused me of things that I did not do this is beyond baffling I expected way more from a big named company like themselves. I respectfully will never go to this location. I do feel like they played victim, and they basically made me feel like my concerns were not heard and they had done no wrong when in fact there really was. Please be aware if you choose to spend your money here at this location. I highly recommend not going to this location awful customer service and management! I posted the conversation to show how the restaurant location completely made up lies and deception to make them look like they did no wrong and that I was the "aggressor" when in fact I was not and they choose to treat me racially per the hostess in the front and so management can think that they did no wrong which is crazy for a company.

Usually when you go to a restaurant with a HUGE menu, you kind of expect everything to be good but nothing to be really great. That's what makes Yard House different. Every meal I've had here has been fresh, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. We had the Korean Beef Cheesesteak, and that thing was SO flavorful and absolutely packed with meat. My husband loves cheesesteaks and said it's one of the best non-Philly cheesesteaks he's had! The fries were great too. I had the Garlic Beef Noodles, and OMG. So good! They're not super spicy at first, but the spice definitely creeps up on you after a few bites. Be prepared for the runny nose! The beef was incredibly flavorful, and everything together with the noodles and veggies was just chef's kiss. My son had the pizza and loved it. He said the dough was crispy on the outside but still soft, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. And yes, I stole a bite--it was good! We also tried the Hibiscus Mule mocktails. They were refreshing and tasted good, although they were a little heavy-handed with the ginger beer for us. Still enjoyable, just very gingery. Overall, this place continues to be a win for us. Great service, great food, tons of options, and we've yet to have a bad meal here. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Tampa.
