I love this place! Awesome atmosphere (especially for sports lovers), good food and always friendly service! It's nice to walk in and be greeted with happy and kind hosts/hostesses! That's usually the first person you see in any restaurant and will pretty much set the tone of your experience. Their staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I've yet to come in and see anything less. Much respect to the management because it's nice to see that they really care about their customers. We went there while it was storming and an employee even greeted us at the curb with an umbrella and walked us to the door. The manager and another employee were holding the doors open for people. I have never seen any other restaurant do this and we have a baby so we were extremely impressed! They were even escorting people to their cars with an umbrella. We were in Tampa with a group of 50 for a basketball tournament and were looking for a place that would host our group and allow us to watch the Orange Bowl. The manager, Mark, was just awesome! With one day notice, he allowed us to have a private party on the patio. There were probably 12 TVs all tuned to the game. Service was amazing! Food and drinks were great. The wings were amazing. Went into this establishment about 2:50pm today. Was sat down 2 minutes later, where we then waited for someone to serve us. 5 minutes past, still no one came to ask if we even wanted something to drink. We went here because we genuinely like their food, and our son loves the macaroni and cheese, but even sitting with a child wouldn't get anyone's attention. Now 10 minutes has past and still no one waited on us. We would probably understand if it was busy, and from the way it was looking from causeway it was packed, but it wasn't. All the tables in the middle were empty, all the while you have two managers at the end of the bar standing around and talking. We were very disappointed and rate this Brandon location 1 star, only because I can't submit without giving this place anything. We will never think about coming to this location again, and will just drive a little further to the Glory Days in New Tampa. read more

This location is definitely a favorite. We usually go here to watch sports on Sundays. This restaurant has great prices and AWESOME drink prices that you absolutely cannot beat. The staff are always in great spirits and do a great job at attending to their tables. I may have visited this place over a dozen times and never had an issue. There is inside seating as well as outside seating with fans that keep you cool in the summer and portable propane heaters to keep you warm when it's chilly outside. Food was good server was very friendly but too laid-back . When we first arrived we had to wait for a table which was no big deal however we went to the bar to grab a beverage and even though three people were working it took a while for anyone to even acknowledge us. We will definitely come back and give it another try. Some of the menu items were unique and worthy of trying out. I would have given it four and a half Stars this time instead of 5 but we can't do the half. We'll see next time. read more

I am a real critic when it comes to wings...and their Grilled Wings are delicious with the transitional BBQ sauce. Try their 24oz Margarita @ $5.00; will not be disappointed. Robin was my server and she is hilarious; the queen bee on the floor...trust her suggestive selling on the menu items. Hope this place lasts in a very competitive market in Brandon. read more

Took someplace unique that may have needed a small add or two to the menu(Lee Roy Selmons), and turned it into another run of the mill type chain. It's a shame as we really liked going to Selmon's and the things on the menu that are the same aren't as good. The servers are pretty much the same, the menu changed and is again normal run of the mill stuff I can get at a Chili's or Red Robin. Definitely won't go back as often as we used to go. read more

Really poor experience. No smiles at the hosting table. We're told in a monotone voice there's an hour wait are you sure you want to eat here? After waiting about a half an hour, A waiter knew the couple standing next to me that just walked in and told them he would get them in quick. He sat his friends in front of the 20 some people that were waiting for tables. Completely unprofessional. The booth was soaking wet and I had to ask the host to clean it. I was exited to see a Beef on Weck on the menu, a Western NY staple sandwich served with the traditional horseradish. To make a long story short I asked for the horseradish which didn't come on the plate. 20 minutes later at the end of the dinner it finally arrived. The sandwich was cold cut processed roast beef. I'm grateful to be able to pick up take out food during the pandemic. However, their curbside service was below satisfactory. Upon placing the order, the directions gave a time the food would be ready and said to pull into a take out spot and someone would come out to the car. After waiting 20 minutes, and calling 5 times with no answer from the restaurant's end, I made my boyfriend go to the take out door (it's cold and I was in my pajamas because it was supposed to be curbside service). Multiple people had to walk up to the door to get served, and the cars were piling up. When my boyfriend walked up to the door, the bag was just sitting there waiting 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be picked up, hinting to me that my food had been ready the entire time and was just sitting there. Three stars because my food was pretty good and wasn't cold, but I was missing a side of mac n cheese from my order. I understand things happen in restaurants sometimes, but make the process efficient for customers or don't offer it at all. read more

My husband and I have just moved to Florida a month ago and have already eaten at Glory Dayz twice. We absolutely love the drink specials, the food, and the customer service. Each time that we have been there, we feel like V.I.P. They open the doors for you when you enter and leave. They are very kind and helpful when you have questions with the menu or food. We had one experience where my husband ordered bone in wings and they brought him boneless wings (which were still very delish). But they let us keep the boneless wings, but instead of offering a dessert or money off our bill (like the places in IL where we moved from) they made him fresh bone in wings to go. My husband told them it was no worry because he still likes boneless wings, but the manager insisted and said "but it wasn't what you ordered and we already have fresh ones on the way"! Overall, we had 3 different types of workers apologizing for the mistake and at the end of the night, we still pleased with the experience. Went there Saturday around 11:30 am, ordered pretzels for appetizer. Was under baked. Should have been a warning. Husband ordered hamburger and fries, I had what was supposed to be a Philly cheese steak. My husband could not eat the entire meal as it was very substandard. The French fries were not even done well. I took 3 bites of my sandwich and could not eat any more as it tasted strange and had about 6 French fries. The management did comp my sandwich. However, we paid our tab and went home. We were both not feeling well. My husband was sick for about 48 hours. Fortunately I only ate a couple of bites so mine only lasted 24. Only good thing I can say was our server was very good. Would not recommend this establishment and it was our first time there read more

My family and I were in Tampa visiting for a wedding and needed a place to watch the Alabama game. Because of previous ratings, I decided on this restaurant and it was the best decision! We are a huge wings family so that was an obvious choice! I ordered the Glory flavor and my family ordered the Buffalo Tangy Garlic and boy were they all amazing! Not only were the sauces amazing but the chicken was smoked then fried! The fry basket was a huge portion and had a seasoning on them that was slightly spicy which made them an extra bonus! The prices were extremely reasonable. We sat on the patio which was comfortable and fun for the kids. The waitress was also very helpful and sweet! I highly recommend if you are in the area to give Glory Days a try, you won't regret it! read more

Food was amazing, easily the best fish I've ever had! The only problem is the wait time on everything, 20 minute wait with over 7 open tables at 7pm on a Wednesday is unacceptable. The wait for the food was nearly 40 minutes (again they are barely 3/4 full, currently I am going on 15 minutes and waiting for my check after I specifically asked for it and my food has all been cleared. "Glory Days?" Not so much. First time and maybe the last. I don't know, everyone has a bad day. Two servers, one in training. So let's review "some" of the evenings events. Ordered my fries burnt. After realizing neither of the servers asked me how I would like my Buffalo Chx Sandwitch, I told the senior server I wanted it hot. After waiting about 30 minutes for our meal, the junior server tells us the kitchen is backed up. That would by have been good information 30 minutes ago and allowed me to make a dining decision. The food shows up, the fries are not only not well done but cold. The junior server brings me back another basket of fries (which look exactly like the first batch and although they are not crispy, the are warm) and says "sorry these aren't the crispy fries you ordered, this is the best we could do." Then, after waiting for my wife's food to arrive, I bite into my "not hot" buffalo chicken sandwich and advise the server who seems indifferent to the fact that it's not hot as I ordered. After three passes by of the table to visually check on us (with empty drink glasses) I have to stop them and ask for more drinks. Upon leaving, I'm not sure if a discount was applied to my bill or not because I just wanted to leave and didn't check the bill. I just paid it. I heard great things about this place but I must tell you our experience was less than Glory. read more

Gave it a 2nd try but won't be back. We came weeks ago for lunch, my husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger & fries - he asked for & disappointed they DO NOT have American cheese - fries were good. I ordered Philly Cheesesteak - not impressed! MUCH better at Jersey Mike's & Charlie's in the mall. Tried them again yesterday. My husband ordered same thing, asked again if they had American cheese - nope, don't carry it. He said meat had a weird taste and the top bun was smushed down. Queso and chips not on menu but I asked about it anyway. Server said we could get it and it comes with salsa. It was $6.50 for a tiny shallow bowl of queso & what they call salsa (chopped up tomato and onion). The bowls were size of what restaurants bring a few lemon wedges in and queso tastes like what i make at home with velvetta cheese. Small serving of chips in a cone style holder. What a rip off! Charged same as order of guacamole & chips. The only thing I've liked about both visits is the large $5 all day everyday margarita. Service first time was pretty quick, yesterday at 2 p.m. not crowded at all and thought we'd grow roots waiting on the food. read more

Clean restaurant, excellent service, excellent overall food quality = earned 5-star rating. My wife, daughter, and I had dinner at Glory Days Grill (Brandon, FL location) on Saturday, 6/30/18. My wife and I both ordered the 7oz. sirloin steaks. The plate typically comes with a baked potato and salad, but you can modify the order to accommodate your choice of sides. I had the mashed potatoes and broccoli and my wife had mash potatoes and the house salad. Our daughter had an appetizer order of chicken wings. My wife ordered her steak medium rare and I ordered mine medium. Both steaks were cooked properly and to our liking. The mashed potatoes were piping hot and tasted fresh made. The broccoli on my plate was tender, lightly salted, and hot. My wife enjoyed her side salad. My daughter left no meat on her wings, so that's typically a good sign. :) We appreciated the attentiveness and efficiency of our waiter. He made an additional trip for dipping ranch for my daughter's wings (even though she only had 6 to eat), but brought it back quickly enough for her to enjoy. Overall, we were very satisfied with our meals and the excellent service. We look forward to a return trip and hope the quality of experience continues. read more
