I was told to pick it up at a certain time, but due to some sort of miscommunication, by the time I arrived the store had already closed early because of the holiday. Since Thanksgiving was the very next day, I figured I was out of luck and started mentally preparing to find a different dress to wear. I called the store anyway and somehow managed to get in touch with the owner. He explained that they had closed early because of Thanksgiving, which I completely understood. But when I told him my situation, he did something I absolutely did not expect. He said he was about 40 minutes away, but insisted on turning around and coming back to the store just so I could get my dress. He drove all the way back, opened the shop for me, and then had to drive another 40 minutes again afterward. I honestly couldn't believe it. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. He went so far out of his way to help me, especially right before a major holiday. Truly 10/10 service. I'm so grateful and will absolutely continue coming here. Highly recommend!

If you are a bride, bridesmaid or have an important dress/outfit needing expert alterations, this is the place. I can't believe how great of a job they did. I asked them to hem, and do "work on my bridesmaid dress" to cover my cleavage and shorten the straps. The expert seamstresses came up with an idea to reuse the hemmed fabric to add a much needed inch to the draping of the bodice to cover my over exposed cleavage. They were able to do a rush job turnaround in a week, and the results were stunning. I would have been embarrassed to show so much skin, but they did such a beautiful job that the bride loved the dress on me even more. And their store location is beautiful. Additionally, I had other pairs of old jeans that didn't fit as well as it used to due to the aforementioned weight loss. I was about to donate them when someone told me that dry cleaners can alter the waist size. When they had me wear the older jeans to get an idea, they said they could do one pair, but the other would look weird if their friend did the job. I'm wearing the one pair that their friend altered, and it fits and feels amazing. I don't know if anyone will be able to tell they were however sizes bigger than when I first bought them. The new jeans I had them alter fit really well and now is at a comfortable length where my shoes and jeans meet. Price wise, the husband told me over the phone that to alter the new jeans would be $15 each, but when I came in to have them measure the jeans, they told me it was $17 a pair. I just don't understand why they would quote me one price on the phone but charge me a higher price in-person. I guess we both won in the end. They got some business and I got my needs met. I'm not sure if I would come back.

I felt like the suit was to big and I was swimming in it. I wasn't sure if the suit could be saved. I came to Express Tailor and they totally saved the suit. He took off 4 inches from the back and tapered the fit seemlessly. Now it fits like a glove. He changed out all the plastic buttons with real horn buttons to give the suit that high quality look and feel. The work was perfect. Come here to lock in your fit for a suit. He freaking nails it.

It was more complicated than usual since the sleeves have 4 bottom holes with the buttons (see picture) and of course it is lined. The only way to tailor this would be to remove the sleeves and cut the armholes to fit. I already knew this from decades of watching my father do it, and making sure the sleeves hung correctly afterward. The tailor, Mr. Hanif Mones, shorten the sleeves and did am EXPERT job. OMG I was so impressed that when I got in the car I shed a tear of appreciation. Although my father is now deceased, Mr. Hanif Mones did exactly what was needed in the right way! I highly recommend EXPRESS TAILOR they certainly, "TAILOR TO TASTE", that was my father's motto and it is still alive with EXPRESS TAILOR.
