As he was boxing his tools I asked if White Glove did any water quality testing and explained a problem I suspect I have on my supply line. He offered to take a sample on the spot that would be sent off to a lab. He quoted me a price and said I could pay in a week when the sample came back. How much more could I ask for? The cost of the repair seemed high, but given the circumstances, I could not obtain other quotes so I have to assume it was fair. They are totally disregarding the evalution that my flooring guy gave and continue to focus on the older scratches and say that they cannot take responsibility for them because there were already older scratches... they used no flooring protection, not even a drop cloth or paper, yet they take no responsibility for the damage. 5) No professional personel. I was sworn at by the technicians when I showed them the damage of the floor. When I called the office to report the damage, they said that they would send their flooring guy to evaluate it, but the "customer service representative" came to take some pictures but mainly came to pressure me into paying instead. He said that the owner would not address the damage until I paid in full, even though that is the only leverage I have other than leaving a bad review.. so here I am leaving a bad review. They ordered the required part, and they came out two days later to install it and drain my lines. They temporarily got my hot water running until they could install the new part.
