I had a water line break on Saturday and I called my warranty people and they put me in touch with Erie Plumbing,they could not come out until Monday. I called five other plumbers, to no avail. I then called Master Plumbers and I asked how do I shut off the main line. Luis walked me thru it and I got it turned off.I then called my warranty service to see who they could get to come out,they okayed it to call Master Plumbers.Luis came out Monday with three helpers and they went to work. They not only fixed the waterline problem,but fixed a toilet run on problem.What was most impressive is they got the parts and completed the job in relatively short order. charged me $900 to change out a bib faucet on the house and install a ball valve on the main water line. if the work had been sound, it would be fine but the bib faucet spews water out from the hole in the crawlspace, is at half pressure, and they wont respond to my messages to repair it. be wary of their "guaranteed" work! read more

UPDATE : after quoting me 290 dollars to cut into my walls for a leak that was not even in my walls. They today just sent me an invoice for a diagnostic they never gave me. Free estimate is a lie. I'm not one to bad reviews. In fact I probably owe alot of people GOOD reviews, but this one really had me steamed. I Just a bad overall experience: asked for a quote and good hustled into a ridiculously expensive service call that solved nothing: the guy doesn't listen just wants to make a quick buck. Almost 400 bucks for 15 minutes of work, watched them sit in there truck and look at their phones for 20 minutes, the they came back in and hit me with the bill. Laughable service level. Work was done quickly and efficiently, however their practices as a company are rough. They never gave an accurate depiction of the price involved in the repair. And never explained payment options. My company received an invoice via email, and the next business day we received a phone call requesting payment. After explaining my company pays 30 days out as most real estate companies do I was put on hold and patched over to the owner. We explained "if you had read the invoice it's COD we don't have an account with you" this was never explained prior to the work done. I explained I will reach out to My accounting department and see what I can do about getting immediate payment. Immediately after this he thought that he had hung up, and then proceeded to cuss and belittle my company and myself while I was still on the other line listening to them entire conversation. No call/ no show!! I called and spoke with a dispatcher who then told me the owner would reach out to me. The owner reaches out to me the same evening and I schedule a consultation for the NEXT DAY and am given a time frame of 4-4:30. At 4:59 I proceed to call to inquire where the technician is at due to my tenants confirming no one showed. After speaking with the dispatcher I am told again the owner would give me a call. At 5:13 I proceed to call the owner off the number that called me the previous evening; the owner answers and then states the technician is running behind and would STILL that evening. 6:16 another call is placed to the dispatcher and at 7:41 I called the owner again. No customer service and lack of business etiquette is all that I have received from this company. read more

Called on a Sunday because of a bad spraying leak under my kitchen sink. Owner called me back right away and then FaceTimed me so he can walk me through how to shut off the water at the water heater. Sharing a recent story about Master and Sons. I needed a plumber for two or three small but important jobs. I contacted Master and Sons. They responded quickly and Lou and another plumber were at my home in Chester the next day. I was at work, but I spoke to them over the phone, as a family member showed them the jobs. We discussed what needed to be done, agreed on a fair price (whatever price Lou requested) and agreed at a time for the following day. Very satisfying. The next day, I was at home all day, no Masters Plumbing, at the agreed upon time or after. It has been a week and I never heard back from Lou or anyone else at the company. anuary 27th I entered into a bathroom renovation agreement demolition started on this day. On the very first day of demo they broke my glass shelves which he promised to replace never did and busted a hole in my bedroom adjacent to the bathroom. I Was assured dust would be kept down as much as possible. They brought no plastic,only card board for the floors, no plastic i provided since they brought none. I made the mistake of leaving them in my home. They use my private bathroom when instructed to use the utility room with toilet and sink, use my broom and dustpan of course they search my home and find it without asking. The broom and dustpan were ruin from all the dust and debris so i place it outside to my surprise the new one i both they had search my home for that one lucky they brought it to the living room and left, They left a mess everyday holes open nothing covered the tile guy was even worse left things like no one lived in the house sealant was put on the porcelain tile i had know idea you shouldn't he the contractor he should of know better. I started to notice the caulking,painting,imperfections on the wall not smooth and I pointed these things out. Lou's reply was not finished yet, And, so he call me and said he needed money and the job was 80% done and he couldn't do anything else for me I replied the job is not done also am not satisfied, he said give him all but $600.00. (REALLY) The following day i inform Lou his services were not needed anymore am hiring someone else and the person i hired could not believe the backer board was done in pieces, the caulking not in a straight line, paint on was everywhere, wall had curves some imperfections 'couldn't be change. This was the worse experience and the first large project i had every took on. I told him less go to court which he did not want i gave him 1,000 more shouldn't have but i know when you don't people right it comes back. TRULY, HE SHOULD OF ONLY GOTTEN THE 1/2 .I have damage hard wood floors, he built up the door entry to high, door molding damage, painted wall damage, left my light on in attic for over a week i didn't know,damage porcelain. etc. I finally after demo done on January 27,2020 was completed April 2020 my worst experience. read more

Just sharing my story in case you find yourself looking for a plumber. I was out of town in January when our main drain backed up. We called Master and Sons plumbing. They got all the plumbing work done, and they promised to patch the drywall they removed in the process of doing the plumbing work. They never patched the drywall. After repeated phone calls during which they promised to resolve the issue, it still isn't resolved. My wife called multiple times and never got any response. In my opinion, their office staff was incompetent (couldn't find an invoice by the invoice number) and not at all helpful. I even spoke to the owner twice. Both times he promised to call me back. Both times he did not call me back. He blamed the whole situation on an employee that he had to fire and said that he would "make it right." He has not done that. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I am having to hire someone to come out and finish the job. Master Lou came out and did a quote for almost 700.00 then said it could cost more. He said 2 people would need to do the work.He comes across as a bully and the lady on the phone is terribly rude. I called Williams and Fogg and they did the work in 10 minutes for 200.00. When I called Master and Sons to make sure they were not coming, the lady said in a heavy New York Accent "Don't worry about it, we're not doing it" and hung up on me. Buyer beware!!! We hired this company to install a gas line for a gas cooktop. Lou was supposed to be here at 12:30 Friday. At 1:30 I called the office asking when he would be here. I was told he was running 2 hours behind and wouldn't make it today. He could come Saturday at 12:30. When I explained that I had taken off work to be there on Friday and I did not have the time to wait around on Saturday I was told they would move a couple of other appointments (how nice for other customers) and be here between 8:30-9:30. The time came and went so again I called the office and was assured he would be here at noon. At 12:05 two of his guys (very nice) showed up to fix the incomplete work Lou had done a few weeks before. The guys told me that Lou was picking up the parts and would be here shortly. By 1pm when he was a no show I asked his guys when he'd be here. He then got on the phone with me and told me he would not be able to be here today because he couldn't get "the specialize parts" (Home Depot probably stocks them). As the conversation went on he told me how busy they are and has a guy out. So which is it, no parts or too much work or this isn't a big enough job. Which is it? He then told me he'd be here at 9am on Monday...RIGHT!!! I believe that!!! Bottom line is they are very unprofessional. A phone call is not that hard to make to tell a customer you are running late or have made an error in scheduling. Don't compound the problem with stories. read more

This was the worse experience I have ever had. The first appointment he did not show up at all, I had to call the office. Election Day -- all of our toilets back up and the drains for the shower and bathtub. Nightmare 101 -- after calling and leaving messages for plumbing companies, including one we had used in the Fan, we finally got Master and a live person. Their 2 man team was here in an hour and a half and in 20 minutes all systems were working. They promise 24/7 service because "emergencies happen 24/7." And, they deliver. Lou gave me a hug at the end and wished us well in our new home (only 8 days here). He is from Brooklyn and a true mensch, down to earth and affable. We had damages due to the storms and they came out and took care of more than just the plumbing issues. The electric in our garage went out due to the storm and they fixed that too. When I asked if he could price some future work I would need he did not hesitate to work through the house with me.
