I calmly responded that she did not own the entire floor and that I was simply ensuring my brother was able to enter for his exam. When I asked for her name so I could properly address the issue, she refused and stated she did not have to identify herself. That lack of transparency and accountability is concerning in a professional testing environment. I am a Regional Vice President with Primerica and routinely send candidates to PSI for licensing exams. Interactions like this raise serious concerns about how candidates and their families are treated and whether the testing environment is unnecessarily hostile. PSI should address staff training and professionalism immediately.

I arrived and was very confused if I was in the right location or not. It didn't look like any businesses would be located here, and I didn't see any big signs (there's a very faded plaque with room numbers if you look closely), no people walking around. I walked around briefly and thought, this can't be it. So I looked on google maps again and it almost looked like the red pin was on the other side of the street, behind the building I was at....so I took off in my car and drove to the other side. Nope, that was indeed a school LOL. It was fenced, so I couldn't walk back to the other side. So...I had to drive back to the other side and run around looking for the test room again. I ended up being slightly late but it didn't seem to matter since it took a long time for everyone else who arrived before me to check in. Tips: - I wouldn't leave any valuables in your car, take them with you since they allow each examinee a locker. Even though the test instructions mention not to bring anything into the exam, I think they should have made it clear that they mean the actual exam room, not the test center. - Look up the building on google maps. Long, old, run-down building. PSI exam room is upstairs. - Don't wear any outerwear with pockets or a hood. You'll have to put it in your locker. Dress in layers.

All the following items will NOT be allowed into the testing room: - hat - any hoody and/or pocket on the jacket or sweater you wear - scarfs - watches or bracelets - your ear plugs (need to use theirs) - tissues (have to use theirs) - wallet, credit cards - bag (locker is about 10x10x10inch-ish. My only recommendation is that they clean the carpet and my computer was making some noises which was a little distracting. It sounded like it was coming from the headphone. This place is technically 5 stars but I have to give it 3 due to the fact that their privacy of personal information is POOR! I am going to address this first.... Every morning you sign in at the front desk with the receptionist. You sign in on your class sheet and you also hand in your attendance card at the beginning of the day. On the class sheet, you are filling out your name, last four (social) and full birthday. This is for everyone to see. Your attendance card has your FULL social on it and many times this is out in the open. I just don't understand why this is even a problem. I know people who have brought it up and their answer was "this is just how we do it here." That is unacceptable. And I've read other reviews that stated the same. Some may not find it a big deal but I think that this is the one thing that needs to change. Other than that this place is fantastic for learning what you need. They make sure you have everything you need in order to pass the test and "stick it to the man" as Constance would say. My instructors were: Steve - he generally will go by the book, read it out loud and reinforce the material with ways to remember certain things and throw in some real life examples. Sandra - is lively, a good amount of real world examples, she too will reinforce material with ways to remember the important things. She pretty high energy too Constance - straight forward with the book (I mean, it's pretty hard to spice up insurance code), but she has real world examples and she wants everyone to stick it to the man. Fun Tiffany - She did the first part of the crash course. Good energy, real life examples. laughs a lot (keeps energy going) and knows her stuff. I enjoyed all of my instructors, they all brought their own personality to the table to teach the things we needed to pass. I would go back for them for sure. My co-worker and I took the class together and both passed easily. So the results of Mike Russ is not in question.
