Let's be real, no one likes going to the eye doctor. But when you must go, Dr Jen is the one for…read morethe job. She is unbelievably thorough, personable, and honest. She spent the time to answer many of my detailed questions with in depth answers and examples. She has a way to translate such complicated science about the eye in an informative digestible way. I'm so grateful to have found her on Yelp many months ago! Special shout-out to Emily! As a first time client, she was inviting and frankly fun to talk to. Also she helped me pick out the coolest pair of new glasses. PS- Dr Jen mentioned my prescription had hardly changed, so I wouldn't need a new pair of glasses. What?!? I don't think I've ever had a doctor not sell me on something. You got appreciate the honesty.

My recent appointment with Dr. Lindsay Eisenberg was efficient; however, during the exam, the doctor used her fingers to demonstrate slanted eyes while discussing dry eye and made a comment about Botox in relation to this. This gesture and remark were racially insensitive and have no place in patient care, as comments and gestures of this nature affect whether patients feel safe seeking care. I have decided not to return. Overall, the clinic runs smoothly, and don't forget to request your updated prescription at checkout!

I had an appointment with Dr. Rothbloom about two years ago. Initially he seemed pleasant, but over…read morethe course of the visit his manner felt condescending and dismissive. I did not feel listened to or respected, and the overall experience was uncomfortable. During the visit, he suggested bifocal contact lenses. I declined. He then told me that the contact lens prescription he arrived at was "the best he could do" because my eyes were "in between." The contacts were uncomfortable, and I struggled to see clearly both near and far. I remained in that prescription for about a year and a half, assuming the issue was my eyes rather than the fit. Recently, I saw my longtime optometrist, who reviewed that prescription and told me it was not an appropriate fit from the start. He restarted the exam from scratch and fitted me with a completely different type of contact lens. The improvement in comfort and vision was immediate. He also explained that bifocal contacts should not have been suggested to me based on my age and what he observed during the exam, as they were unnecessary. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with an optometrist, and I'm relieved to be back with a provider I trust now that I've moved. I'm sharing this so others feel empowered to seek a second opinion if something doesn't feel right.

Staff very rude. A bunch of circus monkeys could do a better job than these clowns. Warby Parker isn't that great of a brand any longer, and this location's staff is the worst ever--making the whole customer experience horrible. I didn't really understand that my glasses were misaligned until sometime said something to me about them. I was able to temporarily pop them back into frame but they kept popping back out so I had to take them to get readjusted here at this location twice. Fast forward to eight months later, I go to the amazing people at Stanton Optical to get an eye exam. The technician checking my WP lenses informed me that there wasn't even a prescription in the right lens! I was totally shocked. The technician there actually recommended I contact a lawyer because being sold a faulty medical device puts you at risk for injury. It's just not right. Warby Parker totally messed up my glasses and I had been walking around with non functioning glasses for eight months. Initially I figured it was no big deal I could take them to WP to be repaired and/or replaced right away no charge. Boy was I wrong. To my absolute surprise, WP said they were not going to replace my glasses for free even though they had hugely messed them up. They asked me to pay $65 to replace them. Since it had been over 30 days, they would not replace them for free. I just didn't think that was fair at all! Point blank period. Not at all! And I was not happy! I was speaking to Allison about this matter. I want to note that the manager, Rachel, was refusing to intervene, just standing there passively listening to me rant without once trying to mitigate the situation or offer a solution. That really kind of pissed me off because WHAT ARE YOU DOING. I know I'm not crazy because at STANTON OPTICAL I actually broke a pair of glasses and they replaced them for the cost of 20% of the frames so I know that people are in fact, willing to be more than fair to you in this industry, even when it's your fault. Warby Parker made a huge mistake on my glasses and simply refused to remedy the situation for me in a way that was fair and right. It was totally their fault. I was very disappointed and let down by the policy! Thankfully there are plenty of other places to shop for glasses, because I won't be ordering from there again. And thank God I got glasses at STANTON OPTICAL, because if I had relied on Warby Parker I would have been screwed out of $65!
