Phoenix Security is a family owned, local business, they have a national reach, but truly have roots in the Delco and Tri-State area. The owner is amazing, the office staff has always been helpful, and the installers were quick, clean and efficient. I cannot say enough great things about Phoenix. They secure my home, my vacation home and business. Unlike larger national companies, you're not renting equipment or paying weird random fees. The pricing is clear and I was informed you can build off the systems as you go. It's really something that can grow with you.

The home did not have a wired electric doorbell which was required for my cameras, and Adam (owner of 1 Solution AV) was quick to reach out. I had initially asked for recommendations for electrician but appreciated that he reached out privately to explain what I would need done. Adam immediately offered to come over and look at what I would need done and provided a free estimate. His communication / response time was quick and professional. Throughout the estimate he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After receiving the quote, he provided his card and without pressuring whatsoever said to call if I was interested. I tried to cancel service that was established by Royal Security who was then bought out by Altronics. Pye Barker refuses to honor the change of name that was approved by Altronics as the result of an estate settlement upon the death of my mother. The contract with Altronics clearly stated that the account number would remain the same, the monitoring period would remain the same and the remaining months left on the annual service would be credited as paid in full. Now they want to wipe away that time frame and claim the contract is being cancelled 7.73 months early. My relationship spans over 22 years going back to when we had another property under Royal Security. In less than a year with Pye Barker, my satisfaction went to total dissatisfaction. Stay away from Pye Barker and find a smaller security company with more personalized treatment!

I called on a Monday, spoke to someone (who could answer their phone but apparently wasn't authorized to accept a cancellation order), who then switched me to a "dedicated" staff person who wasn't dedicated enough to answer - I was on infinity hold. I called back the next day, and this time the person on the phone was able to put the cancellation through. I asked that it be effective the Monday when I first called, the day before. Nope, it was actually processed the day AFTER my second call to them. Other Yelpers have noted this cancellation problem as well. Those two extra days on my dime are not a huge amount, but it's a significant hassle no one deserves - especially not a cusomer whose been with them for years.
