This was my first attempt at installing a CCTV system and basically knew nothing related to installing CCTV system(s). I definitely wanted to use the advanced features (AI) that are advertised on some of their cameras and NVR. After watching a few of their 'how to' videos; I began the installation. Took it slow by staging the system near my internet connection in the basement of my house. I then began placing the cameras on my property connected to an outdoor switch, then connected to my NVR in the basement. I have very long cable runs. Well, each camera came up on the NVR monitor as promised. The quality of the videos are excellent and I was extremely pleased. I then wanted to have the videos added to two I-Phones and three I-Pads via their app. After one short call to CCTV SP's support, I got them all working great. Next, bring up some advanced AI features on one of my purchased cameras. I watched the videos related to AI features and had some success. After one more call to CCTV SP's support, I got my questions answered and the AI features are working great. At first, I was getting too many alarms; however, the support told me how to fix the problem. Now I reliably get internet notifications with a video clip exactly like I wanted. The system has been flawless since day 1 (about 4 months now), and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the hardware, the software, the support, and above all the quality of the videos. All and all, CCTV Security Pros have exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

If you're looking at buying from these guys, make sure you live close by, so you don't spend an arm…read moreand a leg to return your items. I warn you now that you more than likely will want to return your items for various reasons. It cost me $190.00 to learn a real good lesson to not buy anything with high dollar amounts online -- especially from this company. First of all, Mark the manager and salesperson, is engaging and pleasant, but he has a way of interrupting quite a bit and I didn't get the warning he really wasn't listening to my need in a DVR, but saying yeah, yeah, it'll do that, when it really won't. I own an old ARC-JFTAO5 DVR made by Arcvision, as near as I can tell. I've had it for over sixteen years and it's basically bulletproof, having used it with no trouble at all for all these years. It takes 1080P, has four audio inputs (which can be selected from the live screen at will, but only one at a time), has all the features of the new unit I purchased from Mark, except the 4K and a front USB port that gives you the ability to load to a disk or thumb drive in the old format, using the player, or in MP4. I only describe the model number I have hoping someone else has my old arcvision unit. I firmly believe the same companMark gets his units from manufactured mine. But I believe it's not as good anymore. I got excited about being able to get MP4 into a thumb drive, something I can have the judge easily play in court without the player needed. I currently go to my bedroom and click on my Sony to get my live security screen. I replay a video and record it standing there wearing my GOPro on my head. Anyway, I told Mark I needed audio going all the time, recording audio with the video, restating my needs, trying to solve noise problems all around me. I told him I run an external powered mic that picks up all. I told him I would run into channel one continually to get audio on channel one and video on all eight live channels. Mark says, yeah yeah, it'll do that. I even watched an excellent video that showed how to save MP4 files I was sold at that point, assuming I would get audio. Not! What I got is a unit that will not enable audio on the eight-channel screen. You have to double click on the channel at the time you care to hear it, which cancels all the other screens, being zoom size. Now you get cheesy audio nowhere near as high quality as my little old unit, but it won't record onto the video recording itself. A bit more reading told me I have to save audio file separately and then I imagine have to use a video editor to mix the audio back in to match the video. I didn't sign on for this kind of nightmare. The old saying the grass is greener, lots of times is not true. The unit I bought is the 4ProCVIB8-5 and it came as a complete system. When I hooked it up in my living room, I wasn't overall impressed by the cameras. The audio failed me so miserably, compared to what I have currently in use, I ended up pissed off for three days. When I called Mark, he showed more of his interrupt me style and tried to tell me to go to Nick the tech guy and figure out what I'd done wrong I didn't call him until I read the online manual and seen every video. The manual said I have to get audio only from the large single screen, so Mark left this crucial point out when selling me this hunk of garbage. It may be good for the housewife who's using her smartphone at work to speak or listen to UPS, but it is garbage to me as a tool to document the extreme noise I told Mark I would be taking to court. If you want to know what I mean about Mark, pretend you know nothing about a Siamese R59 cable and listen for his impatient sigh that should warn you that these guys are high pressure sales (just take a look at how you're bombarded with ads when you go online to do anything with them). I'm here now to tell my sad tale and warn you to listen for that impatient sigh, hang up and buy locally where you can deal with them in person. This above Yelp is a duplicate of one I wrote at another site, I guess.

I have upgraded firmware of my NVR, of the camera, changed settings, changed cables, reterminated cables. I've done everything they have recommended and they still go out. Just seems like buggy firmware or software. Also, their software is developed by a Chinese company. And keep in mind it does not matter if you use their NDAA complaint hardware b/c you still have to use the Chinese developed app. Several neighbors asked me what I have and I told them I could not recommend these guys for the reasons above.
