More like the Home Nightmare. I hired them to re-caulk two showers and repair one kitchen cabinet…read moredrawer. They asked me not to use the showers 48 hours in advance, so I did. On the day of the appointment, I waited around until 5pm, when I called to confirm they were still coming. They didn't answer, but called me back about 30 min later to say that there was a mix-up and that they weren't coming. To their credit, they did come the next day, but the technician was very confused about what to caulk in my showers. We watched a youtube video together, then he caulked the showers. I was very nervous at this point, but trusted him. Of course, after waiting 24 more hours to use the showers (and now almost a week of showering at the gym), I find that the shower leaks!!! I contacted the company and they promised to look at it when the drawer technician comes out. Well, that appointment got rescheduled 2 times. I was getting pretty fed up and asked them to commit to a time. That's when Pete, the manager, tells me via email that they cannot ensure that a shower won't leak after they caulk it. At this point, I had no confidence in this company and asked for a refund for the one shower and to cancel the drawer repair. They refunded me $75 out $200 wished me luck disputing the remainder with my credit card company. A total waste of my time and honestly the worst customer service I've experienced in Philly (and that's saying a lot!).

I hired Fortech to install recessed lighting in my home. I would say I had an overall good /…read moreoverall positive experience with some small opportunities for improvement. Positives: Tom was very responsive via text and email - he was one of the first electricians to respond and had one of the most competitive offers. He gave me specific Amazon links and directions about purchasing a switch which helped me feel confident in his skillset and also in the products I was purchasing. In addition, he helped me solve a mystery about some other lights in my house (turns out I just couldn't find the switch). Room for improvement: On the first day we arranged for the job, Tom was late to arrive and we had to reschedule because it passed the time when I could be home. However, he worked to make it right and showed up on time at the next arranged time. He also waived the switch fee to compensate me for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Other areas for improvement are that they could have cleaned up better after they left - there was still a lot of debris on the ground and I had to mop twice. And the switch was not completely flush with the wall (they did try to make it right and get it flush with the wall after I pointed it out but it's not perfect, I will have to have someone adjust it). Would I recommend? Yes, I would recommend Fortech. I was happy with their service and would hire them again for an electrical job at my primary home or rental properties.

The quote didn't mention patching but patching was included during the installation which most of the other electricians did not include. Would definitely recommend Fortech if you need quick electrical work done at a very reasonable price. Had to mount the EV Charger myself but I didn't mind as I didn't my new electric car yet.

I was able to track their truck so knew exactly when they would be here. The service technician was pleasant and did the whole job in less than an hour with a reasonable charge. None of that occurred here. One of the top companies I have ever worked with.

The new light fixtures I asked to have installed were sticking out of the wall because the prior fixture box was not in all the way, and cement had been put around the box to cover it up. Instead of completing the installation of the new fixtures on the old poorly done box and having them stick out, we discussed it, and he suggested that he could chip out the cement, which was not a simple task, and replace the boxes with "half boxes" that I would need to purchase. In the end, he was able to put the original boxes back in properly and install the new lanterns flush with the wall. Looks really good!
