Ordered this for the first time on UberEats using the BOGO Combo Bop deal. I ordered 2 bowls with…read morebeef and chicken, but unfortunately they were out of beef. They ended up deciding to give us pork and rock chicken as substitutes, and I was not disappointed at all! I am grateful for the sub, the pork had delicious flavor as did the rock chicken and regular chicken. I got the sauces on the side, at a level 5 and 3. Although tasty, I didn't feel the bowl needed it so I ate it without sauce. Also opted for the Mandoo, and those were delicious as well. They included a note on our receipt that they were sorry for no beef, which I thought was a sweet, personal touch. I deducted a star as I felt the rice could have been softer, but the bowl overall was delicious and very fairly portioned for just $15. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Now, they could have told me that, comped my order, promised to redo my order when they could make it, *APPOLOGISE* But no, the next day, after being told to come in to "talk to Mark" about fixing the issue, he just stared at me blankly and said, "What can I do about it?" Maybe he's still as green as the poison part of a potato and didn't know how to fix it, I have my doubts when he was the same guy who was happy to keep his mouth shut and not tell me my order could not be completed as requested, and make me pay full price for it. Moving forward, I will probably need to call head to make sure I don't get what shafted, double-check my order, and make a list of employees I know will take the piss and commit to sub-par service.

Well this is interesting! It appears that the Parking Lot Of Glorious Fish Tacos and Jamaican Food…read morehas added a new resident: a sushi truck "with a Latin touch." Feeling skeptical of food cart sushi? In this case, there's nothing to worry about: none of the rolls feature raw fish. What they do feature is creative methods like battering and deep frying entire rolls, fun ingredients like bacon, chipotle mayo, and strawberries, and free Shasta sodas with your meal (including the venerable Grape). As an added benefit, the seemingly-high prices for each roll are earned with rolls that are approximately twice the size of anything you'd normally see in a sushi restaurant. At the recommendation of the chefs, my girlfriend and I tried two rolls, the Flying Pig ($8.99) and the Ryuu Roll ($9.99). The Flying Pig was filled with chicken, bacon, cream cheese, and avocado. The entire roll was deep-fried and served with a chipotle mayonnaise. The Ryuu Roll was stuffed with fake crab and cream cheese, then deep fried and (allegedly) topped with more fake crab, chipotle mayo, scallops, eel sauce, and red beets. To be honest, I was only able to detect the fake crab and chipotle mayo, but maybe the other stuff was hidden (?) -- in any case, I wasn't looking that hard. The verdict? To be honest, I'd say the results were a bit more fun and entertaining than delicious. We felt that cream cheese-filled, deep-fried sushi is a bit more of a novelty than a regular food option, and that we probably wouldn't replace a real sushi dinner with a Ryuu lunch if faced with the choice. But for a one-time chance to try something new and interesting, Ryuu was just about perfect. If you'd be intrigued to see what a Mexican-style sushi roll tastes like, then I'd say this cart is worth at least one trip. If you hate it, you can always go to one of the other fantastic food carts on the lot!
