Yes, there's a cool wall mural of a kung fu noodle girl and a LOT of (hopefully) ironic quips about working, but otherwise it's just some tables, the glass storefront, the register, and the kitchen. It's fortunately pretty spacious so you won't have to feel the heat radiating from your neighbor or their soup bowl. I like a focused menu, and Noodleholics has just a few different options that they do and do well. We opted for the spicy Chaoshou Dumplings as well as a bowl of the Taiwanese Beef and The Guilin. The Chaoshou Dumplings were good but just okay, with me hoping for an oilier type sauce to better coat each dumpling, though the sauce definitely has a kick. The noodle soups though... Wow. Both soup bases were savory rich and nourishing, packed full of fresh protein and veggies. I liked the wide wheat noodles more than the thinner rice noodles in the Guilin, but really enjoyed the mixture of pickled veggies and crunchy peanuts that often don't make it into dishes outside of a true Chinese restaurant. I do think the beef and pork could be more tender, but they really perfected the crispy skin of the pork.
