Great coordination of our orders and they were made with great team work and so swiftly that showed they are professionals and prepared for any size group. My taste buds like sweet but prefer a much less sweetness in the fruit. Our friends loved this place and look forward to go back. I not as much. I sampled each variation and all had far too much sugar in the fruit without ice cream and without condensed milk. They offered snacks and we'll have to try those next time. Place was packed when we got there but the line moved pretty quickly. There's little seating so be prepared to either take your treats to go or stand if there's no seating. Service was quick & folks behind the counter were pleasant enough. The inside was clean. As for the raspados themselves, the large is massive, so definitely for sharing. I found the live product looked different from pics. If you look at pics from a couple of years ago, from the price to the amount of toppings, you can definitely tell times are much tougher for the food&beverage industry & those margins get slimmer every year. It's not unique to this business but it is a bit of a bummer to see you get less for a significantly increased cost. In terms of the raspado itself it was good. A solid 4/5. Raspados are always way too sweet - this one is no exception, but the main components of a good one were there! Oasis is still my favorite spot but this is a good alternative. read more

This is one of my favorite spots for a raspado! We stopped by on a hot afternoon for a cool sweet treat- I ordered a small pineapple and coconut (piña y coco) raspado with lechera and my partner ordered a watermelon (sandía) raspado. Mine was perfect, just the right combination of sweetness and a nice soft ice texture. My partner thought her watermelon one was a little over-sweetened, and wished it would have been more of a natural watermelon sweetness without added sugar. I saw on the menu that they also have fresh juices, and I think we'd be back to try those too. Good prices and the ice is shaved fresh so it's a great texture everytime. read more

As a person who wanted to try everything on the menu, I asked the staff for their recommendation. In the end, I ordered the strawberry and mango raspados with everything (including ice cream and sweetened condensed milk on top). It was quite delicious and refreshing, and all for only $5! Effectively, it's strawberry flavored ice, a scoop of ice cream, and fresh strawberries and mangos on top drizzled with sweetened condensed milk. The sweetened condensed milk didn't do much in my opinion, especially with the richness from the ice cream so if you wanted to remove a bit of sugar you're not missing much. The Macedonia isn't the typical raspado since it doesn't have shaved ice in it, but I was a huge fan since it's a mix of fruit and ice cream - can't go wrong there. The peach raspado had the perfect mix of ice cream, ice, and fruit, and the ice was the perfect consistency compared to some other raspado places I've tried. My girlfriend has gotten the prune raspado and mangoyada. She loved the prune raspado but felt the chamoy overpowered the mango a little too much in the mangoyada, so she plans to stick to the raspados in the future. This place is super clean and nice inside! We went this afternoon and they were a little busy, we were greeted right away. They work efficiently and we were helped quickly. For this side of town this is my go to place for raspado. Friendly and helpful employees. Their raspado is good. It is pricy but I think their raspado is worth it. They accept Five Stars app so even better! I usually order mango with leche. So good! I like how they do more with fruits, fruit juice and leche which is why I don't add ice cream. It's already sweet enough. Only one complaint- their bathroom doesn't really have a lock that locks. It's doorknob with no turns to lock. I couldn't use the bathroom without fear of being walked in.
