Due to COVID, the city of Phoenix was not offering recycling drop off events so I found this company through an internet search. They take nearly all types of electronics: computers, monitors, radios, DVD players, motors, rechargeable batteries and backup drives, printer cartridges, old power cords, etc. and all for free, but with a small charge for printers, scanners and CRT monitors. I had a scanner/printer that I no longer wanted and that was $5, my monitors, tablets, power cords, were all taken off my hands for free. They also wipe your hard drives. The drop off process was easy, sign a short form in the front office with your contact info and what you are dropping off, pay a fee if needed, then drive around the back and an associate unloads your trunk. They do not have pick up for individuals but do have corporate pickup services. The staff were very friendly and pleasant.

They just don't accept plastic or glass bottles here. This place looks like a dump but the customer service is very fast and efficient. Most of the workers here are Spanish speaking so hopefully you can make out what they tell you. My Spanish is Sykes rusty so I only understood 5% of what they said. All in all, this was a pleasant experience. Obviously, you're not gonna get rich by recycling anything but it does give you some pocket change to maybe buy a lottery ticket or two. I don't recall what the exact redemption value was for bringing in your unwanted cans for cash but I got around 50 cents for maybe 1.5 lbs of soda cans. Almost enough for a $1 lottery scratcher. The workers here will unload your trunk for you and weigh it all and than give you the proper amount of money. Fast service and you don't even need to lift a finger besides opening your trunk that is. I'm from Hawaii and back home, you can actually pay a utility bill or cell phone bill with your recycling money. Not here in Phoenix, it's a totally different process here so I'm gonna start trashing all my recyclables instead. Hope this helps my fellow planeteers!!

I am a lead technician for a local hvac and low temp mechanical company…read more I sent one of our apprentices here with accumulated scrap from jobs because it was close in proximity and on a Saturday. They paid only for steel pricing because a small condensing unit and air handler had steel caging on the units. However, there was also some raw copper and motors that this place refused to separate and pay as such. We will not being any business with this company moving forward as this is complete laziness and a rip off. We normally use Deer Valley recycling located on I-17 and Deer Valley rd because they are honest and will weigh everything separately and pay accordingly. Also a lot less junkies with shopping carts etc at Deer Valley. Don't waste your time with revolutionized recycling, they will rip you off and treat you like a crack head.
