Due to COVID, the city of Phoenix was not offering recycling drop off events so I found this company through an internet search. They take nearly all types of electronics: computers, monitors, radios, DVD players, motors, rechargeable batteries and backup drives, printer cartridges, old power cords, etc. and all for free, but with a small charge for printers, scanners and CRT monitors. I had a scanner/printer that I no longer wanted and that was $5, my monitors, tablets, power cords, were all taken off my hands for free. They also wipe your hard drives. The drop off process was easy, sign a short form in the front office with your contact info and what you are dropping off, pay a fee if needed, then drive around the back and an associate unloads your trunk. They do not have pick up for individuals but do have corporate pickup services. The staff were very friendly and pleasant.

I was looking for a recycling center that accepts soda cans, soda glass bottles and plastic water…read morebottles. This place only accepted my soda cans. They just don't accept plastic or glass bottles here. This place looks like a dump but the customer service is very fast and efficient. Most of the workers here are Spanish speaking so hopefully you can make out what they tell you. My Spanish is Sykes rusty so I only understood 5% of what they said. All in all, this was a pleasant experience. Obviously, you're not gonna get rich by recycling anything but it does give you some pocket change to maybe buy a lottery ticket or two. I don't recall what the exact redemption value was for bringing in your unwanted cans for cash but I got around 50 cents for maybe 1.5 lbs of soda cans. Almost enough for a $1 lottery scratcher. The workers here will unload your trunk for you and weigh it all and than give you the proper amount of money. Fast service and you don't even need to lift a finger besides opening your trunk that is. I'm from Hawaii and back home, you can actually pay a utility bill or cell phone bill with your recycling money. When I found Ample Bays amazing online deals, my dad offered to get me a MacBook Air for my birthday. I told him I thought it was a little too good to be true and had to check out the selection in person. Welp- they were as good as they said online. They have a grading system for appearance (A- great, B-couple scratches, etc). In my opinion, they are hard on themselves. I saw what they would grade a C and they looked great to me! I walked away with a fast MacBook Air and I'm in love! I invested in the 2 year warranty that covers everything- except loss or theft. Everyone was friendly and helpful. In short, I needed a MacBook Pro for music/film work and looked around town for a good place to start. Went to a few places with less than solid results- expensive and prices change every few minutes if you speak with the wrong people. Found AmpleBay and swung by. Jack had me set up within minutes. A hard drive swap and few minutes later and I was out the door. More importantly, the laptop is in near-perfect condition with specs I couldn't find online or in person at the price Jack quoted.
