This is the only place that I bring my recycling. Even though I live about an hour drive from here, I find that it's worth the drive & I normally just save up a cars worth of plastic water bottles & aluminum cans. My HOA also does this, but I find that it's strange that I would want to pay them to take these & they get paid on top of that for them. As prices are constantly changing, you'd have to call for the daily prices-but these are for this week. read more

E-Z Money Recycling - Pricing - Recycling Center Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

See all

My daughter has been collecting cans and bottles for months and we were really struggling with finding a place to take them. This place was quick and efficient; can't comment on if the pricing was good or not as it was the only one we could find in East Valley at all! read more

I took in some plastic bottles and cans to sell (yes this was my first time). It was a quick and easy process- all they do is weigh it, give you a receipt, you then take it to the front desk and they pay you. Great experience for me no hassles! read more

Good people n highly recommend for all being stupid you have to unload your own trash not be a lazy fuck about it Thank you read more

Dropped off 4 aluminum rims from my wife's car as we got new ones. Really surprised that I got $70.20 cash for them.

arrived at 1:49pm on Saturday. drove all the way from santan and the employees told me they were closed. According to hours of operation, it says 2 PM, hence the reason why I drove all the way down here. literally takes two minutes to weigh out copper that is already separated and that's even giving minute and a half extra of time. The office lady was very inconsiderate, rude and turned her back as I was trying to speak with her. Stating " I'm sorry. Have a good day". I can see it in your face apologetic you are, actually more like just collecting a check sitting on your . My company as well as my 7 employees will no longer come to this establishment. My business will be taken to snowman recycling. There is one employee I cannot remember his name. I want to say it starts with LUC, but that guy is one of the hardest workers I've ever met very very polite with great great customer service. He is trustworthy. One thing I will say about this place is...Highly recommend bringing 10lb weigh to ensure scale is calibrated correctly. I always weigh my metal before scrapping and I've had conflicting weight. Regardless, with any establishment, always weigh your metal before selling it. Almost 95% of scrapyards pull a fast one read more

I sent my employee down on Friday August the 9th. They said they could handle large loads butt in reality they cant. Held my man up for 2.5 hours and didn't pay what they said they would. best advise STAY AWAY!!!! (I had 2 leave 1 star not my doing) Bill S. read more

Excellent service. They are really nice. I just had to roll through, put my materials on the scale, and they took my information and gave me a price. The whole process was quick and smooth. read more

been coming to the scrap yard for years always been very honest. Best customer service.

Great place to recycle! Always friendly and today, I showed up with plastics and was informed by the staff that they no longer take them and haven't for about a month. I spoke with the owner Geovanni, and he said he would take them and pay $.20/lb, even though I offered $.15! They offer good prices (anyone who compares then to CA prices is misinformed because that is a redemption price that was built into it when bought, NOT a recycle price). If you want to know current prices, just check the website. read more

They were closed an hour before it says on their door and online. Drove out there for nothing. Three other people came and left too, so it's not like they were slow. read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving this company a single star is that THEY are NO LONGER RECYCLE PLASTIC. They are extremely couteous young men, whom I have used in the past. However, due to China and the trading embargo, plastic was one item China purchased. So, there's no need for me to recycle PLASTIC. Therefore, I throw them in the garbage. EZ still recycles aluminum. read more

Had some copper wire I needed to turn in today and went all the way down there on the bike and they tell me that they no longer do walk-in's. I didn't understand at first thought maybe I had to make an appointment or something. But nope. To turn anything in u must have a vehicle cuz they must take a pic of the license plate. WTF? Why the license plate? And not my driver's license or state id? So now the poor that can't afford a car or can't drive also can't make money from cans or copper. Nice! Kick me while I'm down. Just trying to make some money to feed my babies now that price of living went up. It's hard out there and I'm trying to do things the right way but it's really hard when shit like this happens. Well don't look like I'ma b saving my cans any longer. FML. Thanks a lot guys, read more

June 20, 2018 Quick , friendly and a RIP OFF! 35 cents per POUND for plastics. Brought in 12lbs = $4.20. No wonder why people take bottle across the border. Haha CA over AZ recycling Also, this place was a GTA Mission to find. Their business sign is not prominently seen from the street. Any suggestions to a better place or is all of Arizona about the same? read more

These folks are great! They are very helpful and polite, and pay good prices. They let me bring my scrap in even though they had just closed, and Roman helped me get in! It's easy to find just off 7th Street. You can't do better! read more

we just want our recyclables, uh, recycled. drop them there and thwart the landfill..mother earth will thank you.

There are much better ones in town. this one gave me steal price, the lowest, on everything including my aluminum. Of course the guy on the scale couldn't speak English, and when mentioned to the guy at the window he just said, that's what the ticket shows. Plus I'll be shocked if I don't get a flat tire from all the crap in their drive area that had metal scape, nails, screws and other sharp objects! I recommend Avoid. read more

I took some brass, copper, car batteries and was real happy with the results I got paid top dollar I recommend this place to any individual or business. They also answered my phone calls when I called gave me pricing over the phone and was very polite this is the only scrap yard I will ever go to. they have won me over for life read more

Looking for some EZ money? Take your recyclables here! It's a simple process: Bring scrap metal or plastic 2 liter soda bottles here in bags. Drive on in. They weigh your stuff, calculate the price to pay you, and then you get the receipt with the payback amount. You take this receipt to the window, and the lady gives you greenbacks. It's that easy. Friendly service. 1 gallon water containers and Gatorade bottles not accepted. There's a lot of recycling places around this neck of the woods. We go here. We like it. You probably would too. read more

I was looking for a place to cash in some scrap that I have laying around my Yard. T is always telling me to get rid of stuff or she will throw it away. So I happened to look this place up on line. Somewhere that took most items and was not too far away. What popped up? EZ Money! Conveniently located in downtown Phoenix as well. So it is Easy to find. It was a scorching hot day 108 yes it late Sept. But, these guys were out there working in the heat and still happy and smiling! They took plastic Bottles, cans, Brass, batteries, as wheel as steel, Radiators and more. They give you a really good price for your items as well. they look up on the stock market each day to see the going price. Which means they give everyone a good and fair price. You have to love this kind of honesty. If you have things to get rid of and you want some extra cash $$. This is your go to place. read more

I have been going here for quite some time and always find them helpful and courteous. If something needs to be broken down, they let me know. Some of the workers don't speak english, but if you talk to the person at the window, they will help you. They are not a rip off. I've been to several other places in the valley and these guys are, by far, the best. read more

We called around looking for the best price on a large amount of aluminum cans that our family has been saving. When we checked their website the prices said $1.15/lb. However, when we called ahead to confirm pricing we were told that the prices of $1.15/lb was for cans with the CRV stamp only and not smashed, other wise the price would be $.45/lb. We called back to find out why the $.70/lb price swing, especially since Arizona is not a CRV state. We were told that those were the instructions from their buyer, they are pretty sure they are taking them into California, but couldn't say for sure. Then something about most buyers are selling cans into China. As you can expect we found somewhere else to take our cans. I would watch out for this place, seems they are running some kind of bait and switch on their can price. read more

Well, for what is essentially a scrap yard that recycles, they sure were nice and helpful. I was surprised, and pleased. Unloaded my truck, weighed the steel, handed me cash and a smile. read more
