Was offered an uber ride out to check their facility out- said I'd pay for the ride back or buy a car, so they knew I was coming out for a reason.. they agreed.. went and bought a car for $24,000 - then they called their credit card company and reported the uber ride as fraud and had my uber account locked. I wish you guys would of just said no we can't pay for your uber ride out here rather than pay it and do this. So I spent $24,000 to be lied to , and not only that the car had damage they attempted to hide. read more

Beware of the 2011 Porsche Panamara Turbo currently listed on their site for $49k. About a month ago it was listed for $44k and we even completed the online financing app and received approval. We have been interested in this car for a few months and they kept saying it was "still in the shop". FINALLY JP texted us and said "if it's on the site it's ready to sell". So after hearing about all the issues this car had and JP confirming the car was listed we then took the 120 mile round trip voyage to test drive it. They pulled the car around for us to test drive it and the A/C wasn't working. On the test drive the car sounded pretty terrible and seemed to have issues shifting. It was jerky and definitely needs tires. Upon returning JP immediately notified us that "they were no longer selling the vehicle due to it having a completely different motor and he doesn't want that car associated (with his name)". The very next day not only was the exact vehicle still on their website and was now listed for $49k! Beware bc they'll act like your best friend while you're in their face and promise you the world. However if you need to do anything other than hand them money good luck. This would have been the 2nd vehicle purchased from them despite the headaches we had with the first vehicle trying to get them to hold their end of the deal and fix all the things THEY said they'd take care of. Only writing this so someone thinking about buying this particular car has the information that Global Auto provided us. That they weren't selling it bc it was a mechanical nightmare! read more

I ubered to Bradenton after finding my dream car on their website. First disappointment was it was not leather. I had stressed that more than once before I went. They did give me a credit for it which was nice. I got the car home and after driving it a while I noticed my navigation system wasn't working. Turns out wiring was messed with in trunk and cut in half. Other wiring pinched also. Now shifter hangs up and blinker went out. I have only had the car 2 months. I called for help and asked if a mechanic had gone through it before I bought it. They said yes. I told them I had issues with wiring and how unfair to have that happen in such a short time. I was told they would call back. Never did. It was not checked before I bought it. No way! After taking it to Chevy, they have found several things that were left in disrepair. Beware of their "as is" no warranty! GO to a certified dealer. read more

Global Auto Showroom was a delightful surprise. We found them when we went to do an Internet search for a particular used car we were interested in. They're located north of Sarasota and not far from our home in Bradenton. It a but difficult l to find if you don't know where it's located. It's well worth looking into though. The two owners, Sean and Joe, seem to have started a business that grew out of their frustration with most people who sell classic high-end used vehicles. We found the collection to be surprisingly nice, the prices very fair, and the whole experience purchasing first one, and then a second vehicle, to be truly pleasant, an unusual experience in dealing with buying any car, new or used. My wife and I were very impressed with the entire staff and the shop and is able to restore work confirm the state of repair of about 100 vehicles a month. I warmly recommend them. read more

They made the car buying experience so easy! I drove almost 2 hours to look at a car that I saw online. I was instantly impressed when I walked in because not only is it a beautiful showroom but you are made to feel welcome and you are not hassled or pressured. I was allowed to test drive the car without a salesperson which was so nice, because every other place I went to made a salesman go with us. When we decided to buy the car, they made it so easy and we got a great deal, a beautiful quality car, and were treated with respect. I bought a 2015 Alfa 4C from Sean, sight unseen. He described the car (there were photos on eBay, but that doesn't mean much). The car was delivered here in CA less than a week later. It was better than Sean's description. I was floored by how nice it is. Sean also told me he'd get me a great deal on enclosed shipping (I suspected he was just enticing me for the sale). He came through on that too. Half of what I'd paid before for enclosed shipping. The only snafu was I had to wait for the title as the loan had just been paid off, but he and the owner, Nick, took care of that with a temporary registration and sent the title along when they received it. I'm generally suspicious of car dealers but would buy from these people without worry. Highly recommended. read more

I have procrastinated writing this review for FAR too long. First of all, my experience with the staff was great. No complaints there. However, the trouble started on my way back home to Tampa with my newly purchased 2009 BMW X5 from Global Auto Showroom. The sunroof was malfunctioning. It would not open, open completely, or stay open. I contacted them right away about the issue. First they asked me how important the sunroof really was to me. Huh? They wanted to offer me $1000 to get it fixed else where or offered to fix it themselves. I was sure that this would cost more than $1000 to fix, so I agreed to have them fix it. BIG MISTAKE! I had to leave my truck there for over a week. They did provide a loaner during that time. It worked for about a month and a half and fell apart. I thought an extended warranty would cover it, NOPE! As a matter of fact, when Reeves BMW looked at it, they stated the it had been "torn apart". Grand total for repair $2990.26. Still broken to say the least. Then appoximately 3 months later I had to add coolant and oil. That's strange, eh, maybe it was already low. I continue adding both pretty much every 3-4 months because it's $668.66 to replace both coolant hoses from lower radiator, $2709.87 to repair the engine oil pan sealing, $1068.47 for the oil filter housing gasket, and $892.49 to replace the cylinder head cover gaskets. Also, during the first 6 months I noticed the passenger climate control was blowing hot air and the driver side wasn't getting very cool. Then a whistling sound came from under the hood....OH BOY. Took it in and they added freon, no whistling and a/c blowing cool again. However, still dealing with this problem because it's $601.31 to repair the a/c suction line leaks. All of these problems and NONE are convered by the extended warranty!! So, that's my review in a nutshell. The staff is personable, and accomodating, but are they knowledgable about the products they are selling? Do they know what condition the vehicles are in when they arrive to the dealership? Maybe. Do they know the condition when they are sold? I would hope not, because they sold me a lemon. The cars they are selling, really sell themselves and as sales reps, their job is to make you feel good about being there, not pressured. Especially when they are selling high-end vehicles. There is a reason why they can offer some of the imports they are sellling at the price they are sold. Think about the problems that it was purchased with, from auction I am sure, and then think about the "band-aids" they may have used to hide the problems from the consumer. Caveat emptor. read more

I had a very terrible experience at this car dealership. They lied to me about the condition of my car and when I came back to see what we could do about it they completely denied their own claims. I could understand if there was a disconnect in our understanding but when they deliberately lie to my face twice (The first time when they gave me verbal confirmation on it before purchasing the car. The second time when they denied ever saying it.) Very scummy of them to do that and shows absolute no respect for their clients. If you make a mistake then you need to own up to it and not try to cover up your tracks. Definitely would not recommend this dealership. Shop elsewhere. You undoubtedly will get a better experience, better price, and better long term satisfaction with your purchase. If my reviews convince at least one person not to shop here then I will be satisfied. read more

We purchased a CLK350, 2006 in thought to be good condition on November 14, 2015. Joe appeared to be straight up salesman and would follow through on the extensive list of the dealer's 'we owe' list. It has now been over 4 weeks since the purchase. I have personally called the dealer multiple times to schedule an appointment. No call backs, or when I do reach a person they say they will leave a message for Joe. Again, once I reach Joe, it's an "I will call you tomorrow/Monday" to firm up the day and time. No return call ever happens. Now to the Buyer Be Ware - As the dealer prepped shine wore off, read - after washing it - there is obvious hail damage and extensive door dings on the car. Yes, we are pretty disappointed but I guess at this point it is on us. We did look at it in several light conditions and even asked if it had been re-painted or damaged - the answer was 'NO'. An explanation of why there was new paint under the hood was repeatedly explained as aesthetics only for under the hood. After the dealings with them, I call BS on that now. read more
