We needed our Dryer vent cleaned ASAP as the dryers LCD displayed stern warning. We called around the big names in the duct cleaning but they came with equally big ticket prices and pretty lengthy wait period, not to mention that some even fancied to send someone to estimate job first and we would have been charged the visit regardless of accepting or declining the service. The final price was mostly in the dark and if quoted, they went upwards of 400 dollars. Ruben at Amazon Air Duct Cleaning not only provided instant solid flat fee quote but also promised that there will be no hidden or extra charges like some of those horror stories we read about in some companies review - people being charged extra per duct footage at will or for cleaning the company equipment if there was a bird nest in the duct entry and some such. Amazon managed to schedule us for immediate cleaning on the day and at the time that worked for us. On the day of the service Michael from the Amazon Duct Cleaning appeared in front of our house in a brand new sparkling clean company Mercedes Van few minutes before the schedule time and had all his stuff ready in time for the appointment when he announced himself with Swiss watch precession!! Michael was super friendly and very organized, he exhibited extreme care for our property and all the equipment he brought with him was very clean and very well organized. His overall image from the tool box and the brushes and the big mighty vacuum down to his fancy Amazon logo company shirt projected confidence and trust that did not fail us. Michael worked swiftly and with great expertise. He was able to easily move the heavy dryer, and access all the necessary connections and spaces and places. He was flying between inside machinery and outside vent checking and monitoring the progress like an eagle! Turned that our vent had some hick up and was not cooperating but Michael made it to cooperate by using some tricks of the trade and in no time the flap on the outside started working again and breathing the fresh vent air. It was true joy to see a professionalism of that level in action! Such a dedication and craftsmanship that you don't see these days that often. We are truly grateful to Ruben who sent us Michael with all his talents and who preformed the job with German precision! Our dryer works now like a charm, the drying time is back to where it was from about twice as long, the message does not appear anymore and the confidence with using the machine knowing that it is safe to use the dryer without the risk of a fire hazard is priceless! We are EXTREMELY happy. Job WELL DONE! We will be recommending you to all our friends and neighbors and also we are planning to do the whole house in Spring and we will be calling you again. The first company said they used a "100% biobased disinfectant technology approved by the USDA," but when I inquired what the technology was they didn't explain. The second offered an add-on service, but when I asked about why I'd need it, they admitted I didn't. They also came in hundreds of dollars about the third company--Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning. I liked Lowe's flat rate: no surprises! I liked the service even better. The technician arrived on time. He took off his shoes in the house and was respectful of our things. He worked diligently for about seven hours to clean our dryer vent and the ducts for our three HVAC systems. He showed me before and after pictures that I could identify as ours because I'd found the same pet food kibbles elsewhere in the house from the former owner. For backstory: We had a leak coming into our home for a few months before their service. Since they offered a complete evaluation of the roof and gutter area, I decided to go with this team. When they finished, I reached out to receive their report via email. It came back saying everything was in good shape, so we had a contractor come out to take another look. Turns out the repair needed was so obvious to the contractor (from two stories below) that he didn't even have to use his drone to evaluate the damage. It's hard to wonder how these professionals missed such a glaring problem. Just yesterday, we had a handyman come out to do the repair and while up on the roof they noted that we even had a tile completely broken in half just above the damage to the soffet and fascia (of which you could see from below). In a sentence: This team cleans gutters, if you are in need of a reliable inspection/maintenance evaluation--I suggest you go with someone else.
