They cross the line on some items, but they do call themselves "eccentric" so cowboy boots with plaid and fringe are A-Ok with them. They also experiment with animal prints (something that I've never gotten), and really colorful accessories (I mean, REALLY colorful stuff that might even make a gay man cringe). But overall, they displayed a nice selection of women's clothing that was eclectic and accessible to most. There is a personalized touch to this store and they get to know you by name. The only drawback is the parking situation and it's not Weavers fault. Parking in downtown Lawrence should be an Olympic event. However, to get the reward of going to Weavers, you gotta brave the parking downtown. During my appointment Patty was also available to help critique my outfits in addition to Sandy. Both of these ladies helped pairing outfits plus suggesting some more colorful items. They recommended and brought full price and sale pieces I wouldn't normally gravitate towards and their choices were brilliant. The addition of the sale items added value to my new wardrobe. I returned another day to find a 30% sale on the sale items!! Got some deals that day as well!! The manager Nancy called to remind me about the Black Friday Sale and of course I returned, 30% and still 30% on sale items. Upon my final visit for my birthday month I had yet another stylish lady, Cindy assist me. My experience here tonight was disgustingly unacceptable. I purchased four lovely shirts for work…read more They were all clean with no stains when I brought them to the blue-lipped check out girl. Not the same story when I got them home. I immediately put on my favorite of the new shirts, looked down, and was horrified to see the chewed up stick of someone's Sucker. The spit stick was hanging firmly to my shirt by little, blue remains of the candy, the same candy that had been in someone else's mouth (hence the name 'spit stick') and--suspiciously enough--resembled the same subtle blue lip color of the check out girl. Now, I'm not saying she spit her Sucker trash in with my newly purchased clothes, but two plus two does equal four. The only other possibility that I can see is that the spit-stick was already in the plastic bag that the girl threw my clothes into. Either way, it's disgusting and unacceptable. I called the store and spoke with Jamie, the supervisor on duty, and she was utterly useless. I hardly doubt I will be doing business with Ross ever again.

He was able to navigate this on his own, which is usually not the easiest thing for him to do, and he had great selection & pretty good service. While the prices of most things are going up, he stepped out of this location with a pair of new dress shirts and a pair of slacks that ran him over $220. That's a little steep, and while he got things that fit him (teen bodies change a lot), it's still a little much. I was certainly happy with the look(s) that he got with his new threads, and while I didn't mind paying the bill, I still think we could've gotten similar products for less elsewhere. That is not to say that Men's Wearhouse does not provide value; it's more to say that you're going to pay a little bit more where the selection is broad. Easy to park, easy to get in, good service, and lots of selection, and a good experience overall. The boy ended up looking dapper and landing an internship, and like I told him, when you look confident, you feel confident. Men's Wearhouse definitely helped with that.

We returned the following Saturday to pick up my boyfriend's tuxedo for the Gala. At this point, my boyfriend questioned if the sales associate did this out of spite since we chose to rent a tuxedo instead of buy a suit from him. While this was extremely frustrating, the store Manager Keegan did everything he could to correct the situation. First he located pants that were the correct fit and color to pair with the suit coat, then he had his in-store alterations person make the adjustments onsite, and he was able to locate a completely different vest and tie for the ensemble that still paired well with my gala gown. We greatly appreciate Keegan and all he did to assist us, but wish we would have had a decent experience in the first place with the original sales associate.
