The store was rather empty and they only had one to check out lane open on each end of the store. The problem with Kohl's is that they are just too expensive and I think a lot of things are overpriced because they know that most of the people that shop there just use Kohl's cash to get the item down to more of a reasonable price. They had a clearance sale with items already marked off and then another 50% off, which would bring most items down to 85% off. A woman next to me had brought a particular clothing item up to the cash register, and the worker had said that certain items don't apply because of their brand. Well, that brand was what filled the clearance section so in reality 90% of the items really weren't getting the extra 50% off. Also, when I looked in the children's section, they have cute clothes, but yet again they are overly expensive. They have a shelf of clothes that are similar to Walmart where it's T-shirts and bottoms for a toddler. But even at their price, it's double the amount of Walmart. So if you want quality clothing and don't mind paying more and have your Kohl's cash then it would be a good place. But for me, I just know other stores that have better pricing.

I have a Walmart subscription for at home delivery so I was comparing prices overall. I was actually surprised to find that Target was very close to Walmart prices if not almost exact. I do think their home decor section is more expensive and it's the same quality. I ended up purchasing three totes of various sizes that were reasonable. I went to a checkout that actually had a worker. There seem to be only about three people that did check out and the rest of it was self check out, similar to Walmart. The service was good and friendly. I would definitely go back based on this visit when I have more time to look throughout the store.
