Ordered the Pep City to go from Glide Pizza and honestly wasn't sure how it'd hold up for the ride home -- pizza can go downhill fast in a box. This one didn't. Crust stayed crisp, cheese didn't get greasy or slide around, and the pepperoni still had that slightly crisped edge you want. Clearly they know how to box a pizza for takeout, which is not a given. Flavor-wise, the Pep City delivered -- good balance of salty pepperoni, solid sauce, nothing soggy or one-note. Would easily order this again for a quick to-go dinner and expect the same quality even without eating it fresh off the counter. If you're debating delivery/takeout vs. dine-in, don't worry -- this one travels well. read more

I must say that I was skeptical of this pizza because of it's location and it's unassuming decor on the outside. We ordered a pepperoni slice and it was actually really good. Nice NY style slice. Nice flavor to the sauce. Everything on the slice complimented each other. I like my slices crispier but still delicious. budget friendly prices read more

I had the pizza 3 different times. They have the best crust in the city. The first time I had it by Krog st. They left it in the over too long and the bottom was burnt. The other two times I was at the Downtown location. Both were good, but not being able to select whatever you want on a slice wasn't cool. If you wanted to make a decision on your toppings you're forced to order a huge pie for like $40 and for a single person it's way too much. I will just have to stick to my regular pizza spot. Thanks!! read more

Order 3 slices to go which can be done outside at the designated area. They always have dinning options inside. Came on Sunday at 3:30pm, there was no wait and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. The pizza was good nothing spectacular. If I'm in the area I would come here for a slice of pizza but I working go out of my way for it. The service was good as well. I do wish the pizza was a little less greasy though. read more

So so delicious! I'm obsessed with their pizza. It is definitely on the pricier side, but sooo good! The slices are huge. I find it perfect to have a slice and split salad! They have a cute outdoor bar plus a couple tables inside. I would definitely say its hard to come with a group over 3 ppl, so I would suggest taking to go and maybe sitting somewhere on the Beltline if you have a larger group!! Pretty simple to walk up and order and does not take long! You must try the Hot Honey Burrata!! read more

Glide pizza is so good. It's always my go to quick pizza spot off the beltline. I do wish it stayed open just a little later for a late night eat. You can never go wrong by going here. read more

This might be the best pizza in the Atlanta metro. If the weather's nice, grab a seat outside, order a couple of slices, and have a beer. It's the perfect setup. The staff is relaxed and attentive, making sure you're taken care of without hovering. I went with a pepperoni slice and a classic cheese slice, and both seriously impressed me. If you're going to eat unhealthy, it better be worth it, and this absolutely is. I'll be back the next time that rare pizza craving hits. read more

Pizza was still good but not as good as before. Less tomato sauce made it drier. They no longer offer oregano at all which sounds odd for a pizza joint, especially at this high end of the price range. read more

As a new Yorker, I'm always on the hunt for good Pizza in Atlanta, especially places that serve slices. I've heard that glide is one of the best. So I wanted to try it. There's a window off the eastside belt line. I was able to order quickly. It took a little while for my slice to be ready considering it was just a slice. it was just okay. again as a new Yorker I have a high standard for sliced Pizza and I would just say it's okay. when I'm in the area on the belt line I may stop here, but I'm not sure that I would fully go out of my way to come here. I will say this was my first time, so maybe I will try again to give it a second chance. read more

Walking distance from Krog Street Market, this pizza spot does take-out by the sidewalk. Don't be fooled, but the tasty marinara from the pizza is pretty good for a New York size slice and only $4! You can't beat that. They have happy hour deals so make sure to check that out. read more

I ordered my food for takeout and I would say it was pretty quick! They said 30 mins and it was ready in exactly 30 mins. Got the 3000 add pepperoni and they definitely packed it with pep! So worth the extra $4. The pizza was humongous! The box doesn't even fit in your trash can when you're done. Our order came with these delicious and addictive peppers and the best ranch I've ever had. The pizza was so flavorful and the crust was baked to perfection! Definitely tasted like New York style pizza. This was definitely comparable and on my list of best pizzas in atl. A little on the pricier side but so worth tbh. Overall, I'm so glad I found a spot that has ny style pizza. Will definitely be back for their other slices. read more

This will always go down as the legendary $70 pizza that was worth every penny. The delivery fee was shocking but we were in so deep already craving the pizza so we went for it. I will always remember this pizza for the rest of my life. It was a garlic chicken situation. read more

As an Italian-American from New Jersey, I am repeatedly disappointed in Atlanta when I am sent to try a slice that's supposedly just like what we ate growing up. There are way too many joints in this town acting like they serve New York style pizza, when they do not. Finally, Glide is like home. Perfect dough, thin with some char, soft crust with a slight crunch. Nice sauce-to-cheese ratio. Sauce is good, cheese is right. And do not miss the honey burrata. That's not a flavor from back in the day, but it should have been. Just wish they had more indoor seating. read more

Quality and quick pizza. There's a small eating area outside and inside of the pizza window. I will say for the burrata pizza it is entirely too much honey that comes on top so I would recommend getting the honey on the side if you don't want sugary pizza. The cheese was solid though, and the crust is very crispy read more

Glide Pizza - DIY Hot Honey Burrata Pie and CHEESE PIZZA - Pizza Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Got some pizza to go with some friends. We shared a few large plain and pepperoni pizzas that came with their delicious homemade ranch dressing and pickled jalapenos. If you're a fan of thin slice pizzas, then this is right up your alley! It's not too greasy and has fresh flavors. Still curious how it would be straight from their oven so I will hold onto my fifth star until then when I am finally able to enjoy it there while appreciating their atmosphere and staff! read more

Exceptional NY-style pie; the 48hr dough ferment is noticeable with a nice tawny undercarriage. Was disappointed they didn't have the pimento cheese pie but absolutely fit the bill for rainy pizza night with the family. The giardiniera-esque pickled pepper condiment in lieu of the usual red pepper is ace, & the ranch dressing enthusiasts in our group highly approved of Glide's. I agree that it's excellent for dipping the end crust in. We had ordered ahead but the vibe at the window was great & I can easily see going back for slices after a night on that stretch of the Beltline. read more

About the closest thing to a New York slice we've found in Atlanta since moving from NYC. Perfectly leopard on the bottom of the crust. Can hold up with a slight bend. And just the right amount of sauce. Now the side of ranch is just the icing on the pie if you wish! Not too much seating, but i feel the vibe is meant for you to be on the go or socialize outside. Solid go-to, especially if you're just strolling the beltline. read more

Pizza is really good but it's very expensive Honestly almost 40 bucks for a pizza pie is crazy

I had great expectations for this pizza, I've been waiting to order for quite some time, service is great and they have like an oven to keep it hot until you arrive. Now the bad part, I had a half cheese, half peperoni pizza. It was a sea of salt, too salty, I had to throw the rest as I force myself to try it. Feeling bad because I research a lot this place. Crispy, perfect cheese pull, freshly made. Will definitely get it again when I'm in Atlanta

Food is amazing, love the 50s diner style, staff are friendly and there's an arcade in the back room.

Expensive I won't like $27 for a cheese zza is crazy work but holy poop one of the best I've ever had......

Ordered to go, at the new location on Mitchell Street a slice of pepperoni and received a slice of cheese. Didn't know until I got to my office. Disappointing, it was extremely dry and really couldn't tell there was anything more than marinara and a crunchy toasted pie. Again disappointed, I've had a better slice at Rosa's Pizza on Broad Street. read more

Glide Pizza - Homegrown Pizza, CHEESE PIZZA, GARLIC WHITE PIE - Pizza Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

As someone who has a pizza journal, I take my pizza seriously - so when I say Glide hits the spot, I mean it! Setting: Outdoors right off the beltline in Inman park, there isn't much seating, but it's not far from other outdoor areas where there's more outdoors seating. ‍Service: Very efficient and kind staff, who let me and others know that they were out of the Homegrown for the slices. Food: I ordered a slice of the Pepp City ($5) which featured savory white sauce, pepperoni, calabrese peppers, and jalapeños alongside the Glide Ranch. The thin crust was crispy and the sauce was light which paired well with the herby dill-forward ranch. read more

GLIDE on your your nights like this with Glide Pizza. From the tiny unassuming takeout window outside Irwin Street Market to the this new and improved Beltline location, Glide has easily slid into my list of top pizza slices in Atlanta. There is now a second location inside Inner Voice Brewing in Decatur that is much more convenient for me - and is even better for sitting and eating with a boozy slushie or beer. I wasn't a huge fan of the location itself of the Irwin Street Market window, so I'm glad they moved to this new location. Parking was super limited (although free) and the seating was very meh. Don't get me wrong, there is some parking is available (not free, maybe find some street parking and walk over) and there is some seating (not as comfortable as the Decatur location). Pepp City is my go-to slice - spicy and salty and that red sauce is everything. Don't cheap out, GET the pizza ranch with it. AND the hot honey - which is perfect with the garlic white or sausage slices. I'm not a huge fan of the pizza if it's not fresh - not my go-to "cold" pizza if that makes sense. While I love the crust fresh, after it gets cold it seems to lose its soft plushy texture. Even reheated properly it's just not the same. So definitely recommending ordering just enough and eating it the day of! Overall, Glide has easily one of my favorite thin NY style slices in Atlanta! read more

Glide has been my go-to pizza spot for a few years now, and I usually always have a good experience. I typically go to the Decatur location. I did not have the best experience recently. I love this place. Their pizza is delicious and they have a lot of different flavors although protein the end of the day the most desirable ones are not made unless you buy the whole pie. Food gets done relatively quick and it's right next to the beltline so that's nice. read more

One of the few places in Atlanta where you can actually get an authentic New York slice. Seriously some of the best pizza here in the Southeast and rivals anything you'd get up north.
