My first three visits i have been greeted by wonderful, helpful young ladies. Not only did the help me order but made suggestions based on popularity and personal favorites. When the place is chill, it's the best time to dine-in. But what stops me from giving this place higher ratings are two things: the slices and the shenanigans I've witnessed from other patrons at this restaurant (much of it not being AHOP's fault, though). I bought a BYO slice once and said I'd never do it again. Maybe I'm truly ignorant as to how slices generally work, but they just put toppings on top of a cheese pizza previously made and warm it up. For me? No bueno. I've also seen some rowdy sh*t go down here, especially at night. It is not the best environment after a certain time. Definitely can be intimidating if you're a woman going alone and just want to fill a late-night pizza craving. They were attentive throughout the meal and even treated our entire table to tiramisu, which was a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. The only disappointment was the appetizer. We ordered the meatballs, and while they were perfectly edible, they were fairly pedestrian and didn't come close to matching the quality of the pizzas. For four people, our bill came to just $98 before tip for three large pizzas, one appetizer, and water--a terrific value considering the quality of the food.
