He read my mri's/xray, did an exam and was so thorough and personable. He described all my options for a torn meniscus and I chose surgery over pain management. I met Amanda at the front desk and I explained to her that I would be needing surgery within 2 weeks (as recommended by all Ortho specialists). She got me in right away! I met with Dr. King, and he gave me options: deal with a fully torn biceps, or repair it surgically. I chose to repair it, as I am very active with weight training, and I would continue to be forever. Surgery was scheduled within 10 days and was a success! 6 months later, I can tell you that I am fully recovered with a perfect repair, and back to 100% normal! Amanda and Dr. King: THANK YOU! She entered the room and didn't even introduce herself so I didn't even know her name for this review until I got my patient paperwork. My primary doctor referred me to Orthopedic & Spine Institute concerned that I have spinal arteritis. I told this to Greenhalgh and she just scoffed and said that I was too young to have such a problem. I'm 41 with quite a few deteriorating illnesses since childhood there is nothing "too young" but my body or condition. She didn't ask about the background of my medical condition or family history. When I told her about the neuropathy in both of my legs she looked at me shocked and said "you had diabetes??" opening my patient file would have shown her that fact, my generational diabetes is the first thing listed in my patient folder. She tried to A1C shame me when I told her my A1C is 7.6 then back tracked when I told her my A1C was 14.8 and I've been working hard to revert my A1C. She told me my problem would go away if I loss weight and exercise. -Again- because she didn't ask me anything about anything she would have known that I work out everyday already and go to Physical Therapy for my frozen shoulder and am already at my target weight goal. I'm already the smallest and most fit me of my life and the back problem came after. She never examined me physically she only looked at the x-rays and she said that it showed that my spine bones are deteriorating but apparently the solution for bone loss is to stop being fat She told me I was too young for back problems at least 4 times and that I just need to lose weight at least 3 times. Complete waste of time and money. I went to see my primary today and told them everything and they're referring me to a pain management specialist and a different orthopedic place. It's too bad because I already go to UMC Orthopedic & Spine Institute to see Dr Iman for my frozen shoulder and he's great. I was really excited to finally be seen about my back problems and just throughly disappointed in Angela Greenhalgh lack of skill and treatment. It just goes to show that one bad apple can ruin a whole tree because I never want to go back to this establishment.

They encourage me to challenge myself by gradually increasing the weights and the band strength. I am stronger and more confident in my movement today. All the staff were professional and helpful. My main PT was Alvin. I worked with many PT assistants. The front office was always efficient. I think everyone works there really enjoy working with each other. Over the course of treatment, I have found Jeff to be attentive and committed to helping me reach a speedy recovery. Additionally last fall, I was rear ended, and I needed to recover from a neck and back injury and again I found myself in Jeffs care. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of treatment I received from Jeff and the entire staff at Ortho Sport physical therapy. Most recently, I found myself having my left knee replaced and again in the care of Dr. Deets. I should add that prior to moving to Henderson I had my share of physical therapy and in the past, I found it rare to have much interaction with the physical therapist beyond the initial consultation. This is not the case with Jeff. After completion of my exercises Jeff sees every patient and stretches and manipulates the injured area. Jeff will address any questions I might have and talks about any changes to my exercise program. Unlike many large Physical Therapy clinics, where you can feel like just a number, This is not the case for Dr Jeff, I highly recommend Jeff and Ortho Sport Physical Therapy
