It is very difficult for me to write out this review because I always thought I could count on Doctor Lee and I had to learn the hard way that I couldn't. I sat quietly ignoring many of the issues that I faced in his office. The fact that I often have to wait for my scheduled appointment anywhere from one hour to three hours before he comes in to see me is a big issue. It really makes you feel unimportant to have to sit by yourself for hours to beg for help. However, this is extremely commonplace with this particular doctor on almost every appointment that I have had with him (and I have been a patient of his for 7 years!) Then, he acts like he is concerned for you and your health. He will ask questions that someone would ask that was a friend to establish rapport but the niceties are superficial. If you do get medication from his office, there is a huge chance that Joanne (his long time nurse) will forget to send in the prescription or leave off a DEA number so the pharmacy won't fill it without confirmation. Well, g​ood luck getting a hold of anyone after you leave. The pharmacy can never get a hold of the office to correct the issue, so you will have to drive back to the doctor's office to talk to a person to get it fixed. Even then, Joanne may say she will call the pharmacy or you back but don't hold your breath. I can't think of one time she promised to call me back and actually did in SEVEN YEARS! NOT ONCE HAVE I BEEN ABLE TO COUNT ON A RETURN CALL THAT I WAS PROMISED FROM THIS OFFICE!! If it is working or she has bad news, she won't bother herself to call you. No matter what she says! It also is very difficult to deal with this office because they are only open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during bank hours. Don't bother leaving a message on the answering machine because you won't get a call back! If you need a refill, good luck! Dr. Lee comes across like he cares about you and that is somewhat nice. However, it isn't genuine concern. If he has something he doesn't want to deal with, then he puts it on Joanne to handle. So, no one tells the patient or helps the patient if they don't want to deal with you or have bad news. Plus, we have had billing issues in his office in the past. His wife runs the office and she doesn't always know anything about billing. She will argue over a charge that she doesn't understand with you for hours. It breaks my heart that Dr. Lee has turned into an absent careless person that I can't count on anymore. Save yourself some headaches and go somewhere else! Dr.Brian Lee is the absolute best Dr in the entire world. hands down!! his staff is wonderful too. My family and I have been going to him over 10 years. in fact we even now have my granddaughters enrolled as pat that's 4 gener that have him as our family physician!!! He always is the first one to give us a referral if he thinks that that's a problem he cannot specialize in and the doctor he refers to. He has taken great patience and care into picking them because they have turned out to be wonderful DOCTORS as well there was a point in time when his office wasn't running top so the waiting time might've been a little longer than expected but now that problems are fixed in staff scheduling it runs like clockwork. Look, if you are a patient of Dr. Lee expect to wait. Why? Because when you do get to see him, it's about YOU. Dr. Lee will never rush a patient, and he'll listen to everything you need to say. He'll sit and look you in the eyes and not have his face buried in a tablet or notebook. He has incredible beside manner and treats patients like patients, not customers or numbers. Try to get that treatment from a SWMC or Healthcare Partner doctor. As for the staff, you must understand they deal with hundreds of people a day both on the phone and in person. Try emailing them instead of calling, that way you will get their full attention when they are able to give it. If you call while they are booking patients, doing triage etc. you are likely to feel rushed. Now imagine you're the patient in the office they step away from to take a phone call and how you would feel. Either way, Dr. Lee is one of the finest medical professionals I've ever known He was my mother's doctor for 10 years, and he's been my doctor for 7 years As long as he's practicing, I'll never change doctors. Waited outside for thirty minutes to be the first walk in only to find out walk ins only apply to established patients! They aren't taking any new patients till the end of July. Very poor customer service when even the sign on Pecos says "walk ins". Too many other doctors in town....... read more

I am not the kind of guy to complain but... this is the worst doctor I have ever met in my life, far worse than my experience with any VA or military doctor. He does not care about his patients, at this very moment the office is open but unreachable. If you call during normal business hours you are often met with the after hours answering service which DOES NOT TAKE MESSAGES. I went to him for a medical issue, was referred for an xray. Dr. Lee said that if I got the xray done immeadiately he could review it and call me back the same day. So I drove across town to the radiology office, got the xray done before noon, and went home. I called his office at about 345pm and the woman who answered the phone completely blew me off when I told her I was calling for my xray results. She refused to help and told me I needed to wait at least 24-48 hours. So I waited, all the way into the next week. I never got a call back, and he only finally looked at it after I called his office all day long a WEEK after having my xrays done (I got the after hours answering service most of the day). When he finally reviewed the xray I was given a referral to an orthopedic doctor, who said that my xrays were too old and I needed to have new ones done. Dr. Brian Lee has since charged me $150 for taking a 1 second look at an xray a week late. I had to pay for more xrays at the orthopedic doctor because he was so slow and useless. Another story for you consider. My wife used to go there for checkups, she gets far more attention to her chest area than I do when I go for checkups, Dr. Brian Lee claimed she had a heart palpation and recommended an EKG, we had one done and the office sent us the EKG results for a 40 something year old man we had never met. I am sure this violates some kind of law... but long story short, she spent nearly $400 on an EKG and never saw her own results, only a strangers results. I should also mention, appointments are pretty useless, I had a 1045 appointment, didn't get my 5 minutes of facetime with Dr. Lee until nearly noon, and wasn't out of the office until 1230pm. Contrast that with my orthopedic doctor, who, not only met with me on time, but with a 845am appointment, I had my hand numbed, bone set, 3 xrays and a cast done in under 40 minutes. I was out of the office less than an hour after walking in, with REAL medical help and attention. Also of note, for those of you who expect privacy in a doctors office, there is absolutely NONE here, I could hear every conversation he had, in detail with the 3 other patients in the rooms around me. I would recommend seeking out a crazed homeless man for medical advice and recommendations long before visiting this office. I've been seeing Dr Lee for about 8 years. He's an amazing Dr and takes the time to truly care about his patients. And his staff has always been amazing with me. Even to the point that they remember my 6yr sons name who comes with me on a few occasions. Anytime I've had a problem it's quickly resolved either by his staff or Dr Lee himself, especially during the pandemic... where it's hard to do anything in person and still stay safe. That have made it as convenient as they possibly can to work with me on my medical issues while still maintaining minimal unnecessary interaction with other patients via waiting room, for simple visits. They do their best to get me In and out. I never feel like I'm just a number here. This is why I've been a loyal patient of Dr Lee for so long. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my primary care. If I could give him -100 star rating I would! Dr. Brian Lee is not a good doctor at all! You have to wait months to see him... and when you do make an appointment it still takes 3-4 hrs just to get in a back room. (I wish I was exaggerating but if you don't believe me go ahead book that appt!) A good doctor is suppose to sit with you and figure out what's wrong with you... but he just writes you a prescription! FYI doctor Brian Lee, pills don't fix everything!!! A good doctor takes their time with you about things you have going on, a good doctor doesn't just drop your pills count knowing you could go into a seizure.... makes sense on why he no longer has any assistants! Went to this office a week ago. I have had the flu for a month now and my original Doc let me get beyond sick. The office staff here from start to finish is great. My appointment took awhile but they all looked over everything and actually spent time with me to find out what was wrong. They are caring and compassionate. I had to call today to get a refill and they were right on that as well. I am making this doctor my primary as of now. Thank you Dr. Brian Lee and office staff. Hes a nice guy, but takes too long with his patients. Appointment time was 10:45 and wasnt seen until 2 hours later. MA said that is the usual wait time. Uhhh if hes like that maybe he should space out the appointments??? Nice practice but dont make your patients wait! Take on less of a patient load if you spend time w each and everyone of them. While I initially had huge issues with scheduling my appointment (I made an appointment, waited two weeks for it, and then was turned away because my appointment and information weren't anywhere to be found in their system!) I have now had the chance to visit Dr. Lee and meet him. In my experiences with him so far he's been awesome. Great bedside manner and seems to really care about his patients, taking a lot of time to sit and talk getting to know me and listening to my concerns. Very impressed with his care so far. The only reason I've chosen to give 4 stars instead of 5 is that some (or much) of his office staff seem rather incompetent and/or lazy such as the aforementioned scheduling snafu and a general attitude that they have better things to do than be at work where they spend most of their time making idle chit chat instead of working. Make sure to double check your appointments and information ahead of time, but Dr. Lee is definitely worth the trouble! read more

I visited his office a few days ago and the waiting time it was for one hour and half, no really happy with that, but if I arrive 15 mins. late, i need to re-schedule and is not fair. Anyways, by the time he show up, I was frustrate and when he start talking very calm, good listener, patient, and answer all my questions, my frustration was gone. Bottom line, it took me some time to find the doctor who has the quality he has, and I will continue visit him as my primary care doctor , even when the waiting period is "tooooo" long. read more

3 stars for Dr. Lee. He spends time with you and really does seem to care about you. Although he got me mixed up with another patient. Had the wrong chart, which may have been his staff misplacing it. Office staff seemed to know but not correct him. So I did. Zero stars for office staff. Not professional at all, seems like everything they do is a bother to them. A lot of sitting in corner looking at phone and if they have to get up to assist doctor then you definitely feel like a burden. Office is closed for days, weeks at a time I have noticed already. Luckily I'm pretty healthy so not a huge deal to me. Try to call to make an appointment and you get a fax line over and over. Try to call in a payment, same thing. I spent an hour and 15 minutes waiting to be seen by dr. Another thirty waiting for staff to being in my prescriptions and lab orders. Ended up leaving without lab orders. Four days later still waiting for office to return my call so I can get those lab orders. Would be a great office if Dr. Lee had a entire new staff that cared at all. Off to find a new doctor that answers the phone. read more
