I just wanted to say thank you again from the bottom of my heart! My teeth feel so good and finally feel normal again. Before I came to your office, another dentist kept telling me I needed to come back because I might need a root canal. To be honest, I was running from the dentist because I was so afraid and didn't want to go through that. I'm so grateful that God placed me in your hands. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me, care for me, and help relieve the pain I had been dealing with for several months. I truly thought I was going to need a root canal, but thanks to your care and expertise, I'm feeling so much better. I'm excited to be one of your patients and truly appreciate you welcoming me into your practice. Thank you again for everything. May God continue to bless you and your team! read more

Excellent service. Thirty-year customer! I even travel from out of State to get procedures done.

Dr Glenn A. Middleton is the best dentist in Sacramento and his staff genuinely care about your dental needs and your emotional needs. I do highly recommended them because they help you to relax and be comfortable , even hold your hand. I am so satisfied with the work that was done. I am so scared of needles but with Dr.Middleton he made sure I didn't feel any pain just a pinch, my tooth is perfect. Every time, when I first come to the office I'm so tense, but when I leave, I'm so relaxed and satisfied. If you wanted a good dentist with fair prices, then look no further Dr. Middleton is the one for you. - thankful, Amanda L read more

There are way better dental offices out there: more thorough, more organized, etc. I would suggest steering clear of this place. My personal experience with this dental office/dentist was okay in the beginning but it went downhill from there. I found a different dentist and am glad I did. I just don't trust this place! read more

I've worked with many dentists in the past but this one is by far the best! Dr. Middleton is so mellow and kind! His entire staff is so kind and polite and so respectful of their patients! His experience speaks volumes about how much he cares about his patients! If you're looking for a kind Dentist who is knowledgeable and wants to genuinely help his patients, this is your person! Thank you, Dr. Middleton and his entire team!!! read more

I was referred to Dr. Middleton when I started working for the Sacramento Superior Court in 1992 by my Human Resource Benefits Office. It says a lot for both my husband and myself to remain satisfied patients after all these years. Ruby, Brian and all the staff are gracious and there's never a wait to be seen at your designated appointment time!!! Kudos and 5 STARS to our go to for our dental needs!! Dr Middleton and his office are the best. Excellent dental care, cleaning to crowns. He's kind, knows when to send you out to specialists, and listens when you raise your hand - if you know, you know. read more

I went to see Dr. Middleton mostly because he was close to my house and for convenience sake. I continued seeing him because he was very friendly and always remembered me, even if it had been quite a while since my last visit. He's a friendly man with a warm southern drawl who somehow makes you feel relaxed even when there are sharp metal objects in your mouth. I highly recommend him. read more

How often do you go to the dentist and afterward realize that everyone in the office brightened your crappy Monday? I would say never but then today it happened to me. Everyone in the office was wonderful talkative and attentive and really fun! I have an appointment to go back next month, let's see if it's just as fun! I would recommend this dentist 100%!! My teeth look and feel great! Thanks everyone! And they didn't force me to post this from the dentist chair lol read more

First appointment was canceled without my knowledge, then the second appointment was delayed for multiple hours because the oral surgeon was late. read more

Dr Middleton is the absolute best dentist I've ever been to in my life. If you're a chicken like me this is the place to go and get rid of all your fears. The office and staff are very warm. I'm very thankful for everything they've done for me. Four generations of my family has selected Dr Middleton as their dentist. You should do the same. :) read more

I want to share my appreciation and satisfaction with the care I received at the dental offices of Dr Glenn A. Middleton. The staff and assistants were very professional and attentive to my needs as like many others going to the dentist is something I hate. With sever pain in a tooth I called in and received a same day appointment and my issues were resolved. My family and I have been patients ever since. Dr Middleton is very kind with a painless gentle approach of care. I strongly recommend the services of Dr. Middleton read more

So glad I decided to visit Dr. Glenn's office! He takes the time to explain every procedure and makes sure I'm doing ok during the process. I have never been more pleased with my visit to the dentist! Wonderful staff & great music playlist! I highly recommend this amazing team! read more

Dr Middleton is excellent. I was nervous about the work I was going to have done. He came right in the room, start talking to me, telling me about himself. I was so relaxed and comfortable. He gave me different options, we came up with a great plan and most the important part was I didn't feel a thing. I recommend him to everyone. read more

Our family goes to Dr Glenn. We have all had good experiences there. He is also a humanitarian who volunteers dental care to the homeless.

Dr. Middleton squeezed me in when my regular dentist was out of town and I had a dental emergency. His staff is very nice and accommodating, professional and pleasant. Dr. Middleton is caring, knowledgeable and FAST. read more

Dr. Middleton and his team provide both excellent care and friendly service. I will recommend this practice at every opportunity. I have a severe latex allergy and required a couple of fillings. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my procedure would be safe and free of complications. When visiting the office, I am always greeted with smiles from the entire team! Although going to the dentist is not my favorite way to spend my time, I enjoying seeing the staff when I have my visits! read more

Dr. Middleton is the best! He always makes it his priority to build a relationship with his patients and give the best care he can. Ive had other dentists in the past who never took their time to listen to dental concerns or even look at teeth that I felt were over sensitive to sweets or cold temperatures. Other dentists have even left me with fillings that didnt completely fill cavities. This is the place to go if you want a dentist who gets the job done right the first time. Aside from Dr. Middleton and his great staff the ambience in the office is great as well. It has a smooth jazz feel to it that really puts your mind at ease. read more

I absolutlely love Dr Middleton and Dr Webb. I was a new patient and the way they made me feel like I was the only patient they have was amazing. I will continue to go back. However, the only reason for not giving a full five is because I often feel like the communication between the Drs and front staff can get a little lost. Its frustrating but for the most part I am very pleased to be coming here. read more

I have no idea who's giving this place anything other than 1 star. I didn't even get in the door before my appointment was canceled (without my knowledge). I was supposed to be going in for a consult and they called my dentist telling them I was coming in for an extraction.. SAY WHAT?!. The office manager Brian IS a complete A**, has NO listening skills, no compassion for patients that are in pain, and is SUPER defensive about the way you speak to him. Please ...PLEASE do yourself a favor and find another Oral Surgeon, cause you may wake up and have something other than a tooth missing, while being verbally bashed at the same time. UGH.. Businesses with 4+ stars are not run that way. Someone is cooking the ratings... read more

So at first I had a good experience until today for the past couple days been calling and waiting to hear back from anyone and today finally got a call back from the most rudest person I've ever talked to and I work at a hospital so I deal with a lot of people the way he talked to me was rude and unprofessional as well I will never take my spouse or my kids to this office ever again and I highly suggest they learn how to talk to people even answer their phone if they want clients read more

I saw Dr. Middleton in 2009. I liked him so much, i decided to make an appt. with him to consult about a bridge. A guy named Brian answered the phone. He scheduled me for 4pm on a Friday. I got tied up with work and called to see if I could come in on a Monday when im more available. When I went to the website I saw they closed at 4pm and weren't even open on Fridays. I have no idea in the world why he would do that. My big problem is his attitude. He was so rude and condescending. Kept telling me this is life, move on. I'm all about accepting life's hardships and the issues it brings lol, i dont need to hear it from a dentist office lol. He repeatedly told me my problem was small, that is so inappropriate and unprofessional. I told him it was extremely condescending to tell another person that their issue is small, that's a very selfish and disrespectful thing to assume...Taking time and money out of my day, rearranging my plans and cancelling a visit with my parents to show up to what would have otherwise been an empty office isn't exactly small. It's not a big issue by any means, but it was extremely unprofessional the way he conducted himself. I'm so grateful I called. It's hard not to take it personal when you're scheduled on not only a day they aren't open, but also at the time they close. That's a bit too coincidental. The guy just presented a very wierd vibe. Very, very wierd. I pick up on things about people and something is very off about him. Maybe he picked up from me that i dont like some "off" people. Anyway, I will reiterate, that Dr. Glenn Middleton is the best dentist I've ever seen. He is not judgemental or impatient. I won't let this get in the way of seeing him. read more

I have been going to this office for many years and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this office is. Dr. Middleton and staff make you feel comfortable and welcome. They also put you at ease (which is helpful since who likes to go to the dentist). I truly recommend this office! read more

Dr Middleton is a wonderful person in terms of customer service and care during my first visit. But, his office is run horribly. It is impossible to speak with the doctor other than a direct visit to the location. The main person that answers the phone, a Ruby, is impossible to understand and extremely rude at times, this seemed to be more true when you are not a new patient. As in they treat you nice to get you in and the truth comes out. In the end the service was not what I wanted at all. Perhaps you may have better luck. I am going to a new dentist. The problem with first impressions is that you only get to make them once. read more

Dr. Middleton is courteous to his patients, but be careful when it comes to billing. They will overcharge you and make it sound like it's your fault. Also, the receptionist, Ruby, is rude and talks to you as if she couldn't be more bothered by you. read more

Dr. Middleton and Shelby are my dynamic dental duo!!! I am VERY picky when it comes to my dental care and they are spot on!! They listen when I share any issues with my teeth and do everything they can to make it better on the spot. I enjoy my dental visits with them and we laugh nearly the entire time I am there. Love these two!!! read more

They are friendly, but they do not have any assistance when you have an emergency issue with a tooth or filling. I called on 01/01/2014 to ask for an appointment within the next day for a filling that had fallen out and they told me the office was closed until Jan. 6. I understand vacation and celebration is important, but emergencies do happen and there needs to be some type of help for patients. Needless to say, I switched Dentists. Besides, the guy who answered the phone was rude and raised his voice when I told him I would have to seek treatment elsewhere because I could not wait five days. They are an excellent place to go when you just need maintenance care. read more

Dr. Middleton is absolutely wonderful. He is very pleasant to talk to, and makes patients feel at ease. I also truly appreciate that he has a conservative approach to dental work and doesn't want to do extra services just to make money. He seems to be a very honest person. My review is so poor because of his billing staff and ease of contacting the office. I had a filling fall out one day (not his, but a previous dentist's) and called the office to try to get in the following week. I made two phone calls daily for FIVE days before finally getting in contact with the office and making an appointment. They do not return messages promptly and are not reliable about answering the phones. I was also asked to pay a fee last year at the time of service. I told the office I would like to speak to my insurance company first. After talking to my insurance company, they said I did not have any personal responsibility and they were taking care of the whole charge. I did not call the office back with a credit card number as they had requested, and never received a bill (presumably because my insurance DID pay it). I liked Dr. Middleton so much that I let it slide, and figured everyone makes mistakes. This year the same thing happened. I was asked to pay $75 at the time of service, I said I would like to speak to my insurance company first, and I left. I received a call from Brian, their billing person, stating that I needed to pay the bill, and I need to understand that for all future services I will be expected to pay at the time of service. I have absolutely no problem paying any portion of the bill that I am in fact responsible for, but after last year when I was given wrong information, I am understandably uncomfortable with paying them up front. I am very disappointed about having to find a new dentist because again, Dr. Middleton is wonderful, but I do not like the feeling of distrust I now have for their billing. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK ALL OF THEIR CHARGES IF YOU DECIDE TO BE SEEN THERE!!!!! read more

I have been going to Middleton for afew years and I am no longer a client. I had an unusual experienced that caused me to distrust the office. I was setup to have a photograph made of the inside of my mouth, but the assistance was having difficulties with the camera. She was able to operate the camera after afew attempts, but then she took a shot of my face! I didn't think much about this until I got home and started to have some thoughts. Why a face photo? I still don't understand and got nowhere with my concerns when I inquired about it the next visit. read more

From day 1 of having to deal with this office, it's been nothing but problems. The staff (particularly Ruby and Brian) have ZERO communication obviously because neither knows what the other is doing. Furthermore, my primary dentist who referred me to Dr. Alonso sent my xrays and referral over weeks before it was processed or even recognized by this office. I waited and waited for an appointment and then once I got the appointment and arrived there, the true nightmare ensued. I sat waiting for more than 30 minutes to be called back. Then I sat in the procedure chair for another 30 minutes waiting for someone to take new xrays of the tooth needing to be extracted. No one came. Then Ruby comes in "we've gotten your new xrays done right?" No lady.... you sat me back here and nothing happened. Then I'm informed that Brian told me general anesthesia would be covered by my insurance and it wasn't. So I had to pay $100 out of pocket that I was NOT planning on spending. Then after ALL OF THAT, I finally get called back. Where the staff of baboons proceed to attempt my prep for surgery. One didn't know how to properly put on a blood pressure monitor cuff, the other couldn't figure out how to get my pulse and oxygen level to read. And then someone nonchalantly says, oh we're going to strap you down so your limps don't go numb and flip around during the procedure." Oh, ok. Thank you for the reassurance. The dentist then stabs my wrist with the IV. And then I sit. And sit. And sit.......... At this point I'm ready to yank everything off, demand my $100 back and run as far away as I can get. But, oh yea I'm strapped down... for the love of all that's holy, do NOT go to this circus office. NOT even a little worth dealing with the insanity. Zero stars if I could.. read more

Dr. Middleton and his staff are excellent. Friendly, professional practice. This review is for services my husband and I have received. We are both very happy with Dr. Middleton, and his staff. My husband required an extraction and it was done in a timely and painless manner. I don't understand the other reviews about poor staff communication and billing issues, as we have never had a problem. I think they may stem from people who don't realize how dental insurance works, and what is covered, and what is not. My husbands extraction was completely covered, but anesthesia to be 'put out' is not. This is fairly standard as full anesthesia is not necessary and is purely for the patient, their comfort and preferences. Local anesthesia is standard of care. Twilight anesthesia is an extra charge. This was fully explained to us prior to his extraction. He chose to be put out, and we paid the very modest charge out of our own pocket. We were happy to be given this choice. I have had a crown reattached, and was very pleased with the results. I also was appropriately referred to an oral surgeon, (who was excellent ), for a complex extraction. As an R.N. I really appreciated Dr. Middleton's honesty in sending me out for a procedure to a specialist. I am very confident Dr. Middleton could have done the extraction, but was erring on the side of caution, and I really, really respect this - many dentists and physicians attempt to hold on to as many billable services as possible and don't refer out appropriately. This alone shows his professionalism, honesty, and respect for what is in the patient's best interests. He could easily have told me he could do the procedure and not lost a billable service. These facts tell you all you need to know. I recommend this practice wholeheartedly - you will not find a more professional, honest, and caring Dentist. read more
