I had an incredibly poor experience here. Despite having a scheduled appointment and driving across town, I was met with unprofessionalism and clear bias from the moment I walked in. The staff repeatedly and incorrectly insisted my Aetna PPO card was Medi-Cal, making rude assumptions based on my appearance rather than looking at the card in their hands. To make matters worse, I had a prior agreement on the procedure and pricing ($400 max) from the dentist himself, yet the service and attitude I received upon arrival were dismissive and disrespectful. I do not recommend this office to anyone who values their time or expects to be treated with basic dignity.UPDATE: After my initial review, the dentist reached out claiming he wanted to 'rectify the situation.' I took off work, used my PTO, and drove across town with a severe migraine for an 11:45 appointment, only for him to waste my time a SECOND time. ​Instead of providing the service we discussed, he spent the time making excuses, pushing invasive veneers/orthodontics I've already declined, and talking about other patients. To make matters worse, he then had the audacity to ask me to remove my negative review while still refusing to perform the simple, no-prep dental bonding I requested. ​This office prioritizes upselling and 'reputation management' over actual patient care and medical boundaries. They made biased assumptions about my insurance from the start and followed it up with pure incompetence. I am NOT removing my review--people need to know how this office operates. I called Arden Dentistry because of an infected front tooth over the weekend. I was in major pain and my face was swollen . Unsure of what exactly was going on, I needed help ASAP. My regular dentist is not open on weekends. Theresa at the front desk, answered my call and was super friendly and got me in same day. Dr Celaj quickly treated my tooth and advised on a root canal and crown for infected tooth, in a couple days. He also advised on getting a crown for other front tooth as well so they would match. My front teeth were both in bad shape and discolored due to an injury as a child. Dr Celaj did such an amazing job with crafting two beautiful crowns for me. I couldn't be happier. My smile has never looked brighter . I am so thankful I found them! They now have a new client in me. What started out as such a painful scary experience, turned into joy! From my first contact with Theresa in the office, I felt welcomed. She addressed my concerns and help me make an appointment that fit my schedule. After meeting Dr. Arben Celaj and his beautiful assistant, who is also his wife, I knew I had made the right choice. He was kind, knowledgeable, and very caring, and with his wife. they made the perfect team, working in sync along side each other, both making sure I was comfortable and stopping when I needed a break or a drink of water. I started with a general cleaning, but soon progressed to needing an emergency root canal. Dr. Celaj worked me into his schedule right away and took the time to explain every step of the procedure and to stop and give me a break whenever I felt pain. He did a same day crown and his work was so good, I joked about making the Xray of my finished tooth my Christmas Card this year. He is very reasonably priced and will work within the patients budget to help them get the work they need. I recently moved to the area and found this dentistry because it was close to my place. The office gal Teresa is friendly and it's easy to get an appointment. Dr. Celaj and his wife are great. Fixed my teeth up really nicely, explained everything that needed to be done and most importantly he gave me enough numbing to not be in pain during my root canal. He's very matter of fact with any issues you may have and reception is super sweet. Doctor Celaj is not only a good dentist, he is an honorable man. If allowed, I would give a six star rating. I submitted a less than5 star rating involving a billing issue. When he learned of my review, he personally contacted me to address the issue. He personally agreed to investigate. As the dentist, he doesn't have time to reach out like this, but he went the extra mile. Doctor Celaj (not office personnel) contacted me around 8 am after I called an emergency dentist referral line. At the time I had a very bad toothache with facial swelling. I was in the dentist chair at his office before noon. I also contacted him when I had a second dentist emergency on a Friday afternoon. He squeezed me in on Saturday morning. So I came in for the filling, and my tooth looks like it was never chipped at all! I contacted this dentist originally because I had severe pain in a tooth...that's when I realized there was someone out there who really cared for his patient and not just in it for the money...he immediately got me out of my pain...and then started on the care of the rest of my mouth. Dr. Celaj is the most reliable and kind dentist we have ever met. When my husband had a dental emergency, Dr. Celaj was the only dentist willing to take care of him on the same day. He was at the very end of his shift, yet he took us in. Once he saw the visible unbearable pain my husband was in, they immediately took him back and numbed him, so he wouldn't be in pain anymore. I hiighly recommend Dr Celaj, especially for urgent dental situation. I had the misfortune of two dental emergency issues in less than a year. The 1 800 Dentist did a search for me before 8:00 am. Dr Celaj called me within less than 30 and possibly 15 minutes. I was in the chair roughly 2 hours later. I broke and loosened another tooth two days before writing this review- a Friday afternoon. He squeezed me in the next day- Saturday! In addition, he has a small, old fashioned office with friendly staff. I am in the healthcare field and know the COVID-19 precautions very well. Doctor Celaj's staff follow the measures with out making you feel like a specimen. Many dentists now days have big slick aesthetically sterile "open concept" offices, with tons of glass, huge windows and everyone has custom monogrammed scrubs. As a person with dental phobia, I find Dr Celaj's little office comfortable. I still have the phobia, but I didn't feel like I was in a fishbowl. read more

There should be an option for more than 5 stars. From a recommendation by my sister-in-law I made an appointment to consider new dentures. Dr Celaj took his time and explained all the different options based on my bone structure, etc. Within a matter of a few weeks I had dentures that looked and felt better than my previous ones I had for 7 years. The environment there is more like a home than a clinic. Dr Celaj took all the time I needed to explain each step. Unlike other offices, he wasn't going from room to room his time was one on one and unhurried. Theresa, the receptionist is warm and welcoming by the second visit i felt like I had known her for a long time. Dr Celaj and his assistant made me feel like I was their only patient.
