I cannot believe I actually enjoyed a visit to the dentist, The vibe in this office is upbeat and friendly, the best dental experience ever. All of the staff here are amazing, super friendly, and do a really great job. Honestly, they are the nicest, most genuine bunch. The front desk receptionists Morgan and Alana, are always cordial, attentive and welcoming, either on the phone or in person. The dental techs are just as positive and obviously love the work they do. The hygeniest made a potentially unpleasant experience much easier. She was careful to tell me what she was about to do at ever step of the process and asked me if I had any sensitivities or concerns. Dr. Wilgus is simply the best. He is funny, caring and very knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease during my exam and subsequent treatment. His expertise made me very comfortable and extremely painfree (I never even felt the Novacaine injection during a recent procedure). Dr. Wilgus practices excellence and integrity in dentistry at the highest level. I appreciate the open and honest nature and innovative dentistry being practiced here. Their service is superb and I look forward to many more years of visiting this office and will recommend to family and friends. Parking is a breeze as well. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Wilgus for 10 years and am delighted with his excellent and compassionate care! By far, he is the most competent and well-trained dentist I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of them. His staff, one and all, are fantastic, as are his hygienists. Dr Wilgus put on a new crown and then a couple weeks later the tooth under the crown needed a root canal. Dr Wilgus charged me $160 to make this determination and was going to charge over $1000 for a root canal. It sure seemed there was a correlation between his replacing the crown and the need for a root canal. He has 3 women in the front office so he needs to do a lot dental work to cover his overhead. his is the only dental office where I've seen more than one person in the front office. my wife thinks he speaks to his patients in a condescending tone. read more

I can't even put into words how much I love and recommend Dr Wilgus and his team, but I'll try... I came to see Dr Wilgus after another dentist went far above his scope of expertise and caused significant damage to my teeth and gums. Dr Wilgus and Katy lead the charge on getting me appointments with all the specialists I needed and monitored my progress through several bone and gum grafting surgeries, braces, and everything in between. When it came time for my three piece crown, Dr Wilgus sent me to a color specialist to make sure I had the exact right shades so it looked as natural as possible. The end result of five years of fixing and improving what had been damaged, I couldn't be happier with my smile. I continue to go in and get my cleanings every 6 months with Dr Joe and say hello to all of the incredible people who work at this practice. I tell everyone I know to go see Dr Wilgus. Clean office and all staff were very friendly and personable. They have great customer service. My appointment was originally for 9am but the office was busy so I wasn't able to be seen until 915. Not a big deal at all to me but they gave me a Starbucks $10 gift card for waiting. Totally unexpected!! Excellent Dental Professionals with Unreliable Paperwork Handling I was a dental patient at this office for more than twelve years, beginning with Dr. Mic and ending with Dr. Wilgus when I moved away from California last year. The dental professionals were top notch and friendly. However, two recent incidents indicated to me that their paperwork handling had become unreliable with no following through. (1) Immediately after I had moved, I snail mailed a letter with all the information to ask for a chart transfer to my new dentist here. After a few weeks, my new dental office here still did not have my old chart. I called the office of Dr. Wilgus. Elana was no longer working there. The lady who took my phone call told me she did not know where that letter was because "she did not handle mail." That was not a good reason for losing a patient's correspondence and that was not an appropriate answer in a professional setting. I had to let her know that it was her office's responsibility to handle every piece of paperwork properly. At last, the lady at my new dental office took over and re-sent the request for my old chart. (2) Recently, I went to their website and sent an email to ask if I could buy several toothbrushes that they usually give away to their patients. They are hard to find here locally, at least not at my local Walmart. I asked how much with shipping and handling. After a day, I also called to follow up. The lady who took my phone call said their office work was affected by COVID-19 and they would need to calculate the cost and shipping fee and she will call me back. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN TEN DAYS NOW and I have never heard from them either via the phone or email. If it is their policy not handling such a transaction, then they should just give me such a reply. I could think of several possible reasons for this request not being handled: (a) They do not have enough inventory of such toothbrushes at this point (b) They are too busy to handle such a transaction which is not worth their time (c) They think I am a past patient and I am not worth handling anymore, just ignore (d) They just don't want to do it and hope that this request will go away silently (e) She has lost my phone number and has deleted that request email (but they still have my old chart) In any of the above possible situation (except (e)), a simple follow-up message of "No, can't do it" (politely, hopefully) and I would understand but there is just NO FOLLOWING THROUGH. I don't know whether Dr. Wilgus knows about this or not. Such a way of handling people's requests can eventually hurt the business. Further, please don't use COVID-19 as an excuse for not doing things properly. People are not as dumb as you think. Please train your staff about how to run a business and customer service. I was thinking of scheduling for a new paying-upfront cleaning session the next time I go back to Sacramento for a visit. Now, it seems that they really don't care about my business. Couldn't recommend Dr. Wilgus enough.... A few years back, I began seeing Dr. Wilgus on a friend's recommendation. Shortly after, I needed emergency dental attention on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas Day (different teeth on opposite sides of the mouth; weird and complete fluke). Dr. Wilgus came in on BOTH days to perform emergency root canals. I was in complete agony, and he was there for a new patient. On that alone, he earned a patient for life. Dr. Wilgus and his entire staff are the kindest, sweetest people and have gone lengths to accommodate me. They are all remarkably gentle in the mouth, and create a dental experience that is soothing and comfortable. No easy task as a dentist, I'm certain.
