I went to this dental office on a friend's recommendation and Inmust say it was good advice. My appointment was at 830am and began right on time. No extra paperwork or delays. Skylar was very friendly, humorous and helped put me as ease before beginning my cleaning. During the procedure she remained calm and gentle. I do appreciate being in good hands due to bad past experiences. After my cleaning the Dr came in and gave me a detailed breakdown of future steps to take and procedures to be done. While I didn't ultimately get serviced here due to the price being close to double what I was quoted before they checked my mouth I did have a great experience with this location. I was definitely a little suspect when I saw the random location but was pleasantly surprised. The front office staff as well as the dental assistants were very stellar with their level of care to ensure I was comfortable . I loved the welcome gift which consisted of a tumbler (that didn't keep my coffee hot) lol but the gesture was definitely thoughtful. The one start was removed based on the price discrepancy but I can't really be too upset. While they did refer me to their enododentist that could have seen me same day I was quoted $1200-$1600 but the referral was for $2200 which was completely outside of my budget allocated for the visit. Equally the front office staff as well as the dentist were trying to assist with figuring out something as I was in an intense amount of pain, Should I have dental insurance that works with this office or want to pay the cash price for this location I would definitely try it again. read more

My first visit here was after 5 years of not seeing a dentist and I was really nervous. I'm so happy to say the entire team made me feel comfortable! There was no aggressive treatment plan and they made sure I understood why and how they would go about treatment for me! Since then I have returned frequently for my check ups and cleanings. At this most recent appointment I met Dr. Navasero. She was super friendly and really fast in treatment! From the warm welcome upon arrival and the pleasant ambiance of the clinic itself, to the meticulous and personalized care I received from Jose, Luca, and Dr. Dogra, I was blown away. I had been with my previous dentist for more than two decades, and after he retired, I did not believe I would find another dentist I trusted and believed in as much. I was mistaken. I required multiple complex fillings and crowns, and went to two other dentists in the area who quoted obscene prices. I sent over my X-rays from the other offices to Dr. Dogra. He squeezed me into his schedule that week, identified a cracked/chipped filling missed by the two previous dentists, and gave a markedly reduced, fair price compared to the other offices. Got a cap put on one of my lower molars from this dentist. They showed me a sample cap that was too yellow and I asked to see more color samples so I could choose one that actually matched my teeth. I chose a slightly whiter color than what they had shown me and when I held the sample tooth up against mine, it was the same color (meaning it would blend well with the teeth in my mouth. However, after the cap was put on it was 10 times brighter than the one I had wanted. Now whenever I open my mouth there is a fluorescent excruciatingly bright white (almost green, not even kidding) tooth screaming HELLLOOOOO in my mouth. It looks HORRIBLE. The best thing about this dentist is that they'll put you on a payment plan if your bill is over a certain dollar amount. Other than that, I'd NEVER go back to this dentists office unless I want more tacky looking fluorescent chompers.... yeah umm, NO THANKS. read more

My aunt recently went to this place and she came out very disappointed. I have always appreciated the quality of service at this establishment and the dedication of the staff. However, I was very disappointed with my recent experience when I spoke to Sandra on the phone. Unfortunately, her demeanor came across as rude, and I felt that her attitude did not reflect the positive service I have come to expect. I believe that constructive feedback is essential for improvement, and I hope that Sandra can enhance her approach in future interactions, do better Sandra!! If I had one word to describe this dentist's work it would be SLOPPY. I would only come here for routine cleaning and exam - absolutely No DENTAL work. This dentist talks and explains a lot but makes poor decisions when it comes to how to address teeth that need work. Also the work he does is sloppy and not well done. Now that I'm reading other reviews I can see that I'm not the only one that has had issue with his performance. Most of the time he is unsure of what to do so sends out patients to endodontist. He is NOT an expert by any means - does not take responsibility for his work and just covers up his incompetence with talk and explanations. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with his work and judgment! Stay away - if you want an expert dentist in the area - EAST SAC DENTISTS is a practice I trust to make the correct decisions and do the work right! I was not informed that they require new patients to sign form that charges $50 cancellation fee without 48 hour notice until I got to appointment. I shared my previous 2 dentists didn't require this and was told they must "not be good". I understand some dentists require this but to not inform new patients prior to appointment and disparage other dentists is not what I would call honest service. read more

Started visiting Dr. Dogra and the CS team towards the end of 2017. You'll find the common theme in that most people hate the dentist but this Dr. And his team make it FAR LESS painful to go and, not to sound corny but I genuinely look forward to a visit. He's also an Orthodontist which is what attracted me to see him initially. I had the goal to get my teeth straightened out but hated the thought of adult braces. Cut to 11 months later and FastBraces were worth every single penny spent. Had to pay out of pocket only because my insurance doesn't cover it but it was nevertheless the best decision I ever made. The office was so easy to work with in regards to payment. The best part is the constant reminders of appointments via text & email (not kidding) because someone like me doesn't always remember to save appt details. As someone not originally from Sacramento, I was extremely overwhelmed by trying to find a new dentist when I first moved here. I tried a couple of different offices and felt more like a number than a patient. My fiancé recommended me to Confident Smiles and I could not be happier with them! The staff is so incredibly friendly and professional. Their office is clean and conveniently located in Midtown. I always have great conversations with them and they make me feel more like a part of their family than just another client to rush through. They clearly communicate costs, dates for follow-up appointments, and provide helpful information on other items like braces and teeth whitening. Can't recommend them enough! COVID update: I went in for my 6-month cleaning in the midst of the pandemic and the staff made me feel extremely safe. A week before my appointment, they called me to ensure I hadn't been sick and completed a verbal questionnaire with me. They also walked me through the procedures for the appointment which included staying in my car/calling them when I had arrived and taking my temperature before allowing me to go past the front desk. The day of my appointment I was pleasantly surprised to see that the staff also went above and beyond by clearing the lobby of other patients so that we could easily walk through with as much space between us as possible. Update: I no longer go to Confident Smiles. My first few visits were good, but then things swiftly changed. I have serious bone loss in my jaw and I have two of my teeth numbed when I get my cleaning. When I requested to be numbed the hygienist acted like I was requesting hard drugs. Then the dentist was discounting when he realized I needed another oral surgery. What really finalized my decision to leave was when I called to reschedule an appointment. I was in need of a dentist immediately! They were able to get me right in, and they put my nerves at ease. Everyone at Confident Smiles is very welcoming and they provide excellent service.
