Back when my grandfather was able to drive and he lived in Glendale, he would always take my…read morebrother and I here. I remember there used to be an fye, a pet store, and a Todai Buffet. Alas those days are long gone and my grandpa can no longer drive, a bit sad and a bit nostalgic to look back on, I digress. It's a huge mall and I definitely prefer it over going to the Americana across the street (free parking here and such), but again, it's a huge mall that attracts all around, so parking can get quite busy, especially on the weekends, so keep that in mind. I like that there's an attached Target and lots of shopping and dining options. They have all of the franchises that you find at a standard mall and at a higher end mall too, so you get a good mix of both. There's an Apple Store, Beard Papa (not many of these left sadly), Bath and Body Works, Heytea, Hot Topic, Kura, Lacoste, Lush, Marugame Udon, Miniso, Molly Tea, Pop Mart, the Lego Store (I remember visiting this as a child), Uniqlo, Tokyo Life Style, etc. There's a markedly newer and lively part of the mall and when you go to the periphery, there's a strange mini floor on one of the top floors and the crowds start parsing through. It used to be the only mall where we could get some of these franchises and foods or we'd have to travel more into the OC, but now that the Santa Anita mall has almost every business that I would need, going to the Glendale Galleria is a once in awhile treat if we're already in the area.

On Sunday (6/14/2026) I went to Glendale Galleria with my mom and my brother…read more My mom bought some shoes and cosmetics, and I picked up both a Beef Kabob and a Chicken Kabob from Massis Kabob. After that, we all had dinner together at Kura Sushi. After dinner at Kura Sushi, I decided to pick up another kabob to go for my other brother at home. As I was walking back to Kura Sushi with the food, I passed by the restroom area near the food court and a kiosk that appeared to offer eyebrow tattooing services. A Hispanic female janitor was cleaning the area. My mom had called me and was asking me to come back quickly, so I was walking at a very fast pace with the takeout order in my hand. Suddenly, the female janitor jabbed me in the arm and started speaking angrily in Spanish. I couldn't understand a single word she was saying, and I was completely shocked by her behavior. I assume that because I was walking quickly to get back to my mom, I may not have noticed that she had placed a caution sign and was cleaning that section of the floor. Perhaps I accidentally walked through the area she was working on. Even so, I found it completely unacceptable for someone to jab me in the arm like that. To make matters worse, she kept speaking to me in Spanish, which I could not understand. I honestly thought her behavior was very inappropriate. I simply responded, "Please speak English and do not touch me, OK?" My mom was waiting for me and wanted to leave right away, so I didn't have time to continue the conversation and just walked away. However, the more I think about what happened that day, the more upset it makes me. I sincerely hope I never experience something this unpleasant again. Glendale Galleria should do a better job of training its employees on how to interact respectfully with customers.

This store is very organized and they have kiosks that it is helpful to find the books. They also have staff working on the floor which answers questions and help finding items. They also offer a reward program which offers discounts for cafe, books and magazines. Parking in Americana is not free. I think they validate the parking. I would suggest parking in the mall which is free and it is like five minutes walk.

It's super fisted with the regular crowds due to it's location in the shopping center, it's a traffic nightmare, it's not remotely close to anything else (convention center, Japanese hub, etc.), and the shop itself is a bit lackluster. Like, yeah I know we are running out of actual physical bookstores, but this is mostly a trinket, toys, gift store with some books to sell on the side. Manga and graphic novel selection is a bit limited. Staff recommendations were the most casual and entry level things ever like JJK or MHA, no offense. It's neat that it's multiple stories but, again, selection was a bit meh. Also unfortunately ran into zoomers using the escalators to film TikToks on more than one location...

That way I could get a second opinion! When I exited, I wasn't sure where to put my go back and I didn't want to put it in the wrong place. There was an employee there but they were busy fixing a garment I believe. They helped me after a bit once they realized I needed something, but I feel like if they were assigned there then they should have asked for my go backs right away. I don't want to accidentally mess up their rack and make it harder for them later. If they weren't assigned there and were just recovering, then I totally understand that it wasn't their responsibility. But then I feel like someone should be assigned there so clothes don't end up in the wrong place. I was able to leave the top on the correct rack, and checkout was pretty quick. Overall, I had a good experience and I would go back to this location.

After trying on a couple pairs of jeans, I returned the items I wasn't purchasing to the fitting room attendant. I was also in a bit of a rush, and I had never encountered this issue before, especially since in the past even the store associates themselves have offered to hang the clothes back for me. She told me, with a rather unnecessary attitude, that next time I should put the items back on the hangers myself. I was surprised because I had never been told this was a store policy before. I later politely asked another employee whether customers are required to rehang clothes after trying them on. He confirmed that there is no such rule and that rehanging items is simply a courtesy. I completely understand that putting clothes back on hangers is helpful to the staff, and I'm happy to do so as a courtesy. However, there is a big difference between politely asking a customer for help and correcting them as though they have violated a store policy when no such policy exists. The interaction was minor, but the attitude was unnecessary and definitely affected my experience at this location.

Saturday June 27th.... my mother and I walked into the Coach store at the Glendale Galleria (mind…read moreyou we do not live In the San Fernando Valley) with 2 tote bags and 1 small luggage FULL of Vintage/Older Coach purses AND matching wallets... BEFORE we came into the galleria I called the store and spoke to a lovely woman named Brianna. I explained what we had, and if we could schedule an evaluation on our "numerous bags" she kindly said they would of course prefer we come in during the week when it's "slower" but to come in today, we more than likely would need to have a seat and wait until someone could help us. (I explained no problem ..and were grateful for the time) we walked into the store around 5:30pm... there were probably 5 customers in the store and a handful of employees. NO ONE at the register buying anything (at that time) Spoke to another employee a male... with a lil man bun he was kind enough to take 5 minutes out of his day....to assist my mother and me and look thru our bags to see "what they would and wouldn't" take back for the re-loved/re-claimed program. (as they only take back ORIGINAL COACH not ANYTHING from the outlets) He then said let me go speak to my manager I'll be right back..**out of like 15 bags only 5 qualified, for the program**. He returns and apologies His manager says they cannot help us today, we would need to return during the week...AGAIN we don't live in Glendale or even a 30 mile radius! I explained this to him again (man bun) and I said great that's not what I was told over the phone and how disappointing- I asked for the managers name "Johnny" who never bothered to come out of the back room to greet any of the stores customers, check on employees etc. Our plan was to trade in our bags - for whatever anounts the store was willing to give us... AND make new purchases today! My mother was looking at a 800$ bag, I was looking at a 600$ bag and a pair of shoes. no one ever asked if we were interested in anything else etc. I thanked man bun for his time, asked for his managers name again (so I could make a complaint..cause I will be writing a letter!) We packed our bags back up... and left the store. I am baffled by the lack of customer service and leadership this "manager" showed his/her employees. Great Job Jhonny ... I will be taking this complaint ALLLL THE WAY UP THE CHAIN! Thank you Jhonny for such a sour experience...as my mother and I will NEVER spend another dime with Coach.

What attracted us to check out the store is the beautiful Christmas tree sitting right in the middle of the store. Coach Store has plenty of selection and variety of new styles and colors. The Coach Store is also very clean and well stocked with merchandise. Such a pretty and eye catching store. Telling my circle of friends and family that there's a Coach Store in Glendale Galleria if they don't know about it yet.
