Street parking nearby this college was all taken up so I had to park a bit further which wasn't too bad actually. It still took me about 10 mins to walk in. This time around I took a short cut by walking through the campus than walking around the campus like last time to get to the amphitheater where the graduation took place. By doing so, I got a chance to see a bit more of the campus. It's quite serene and quiet. This college was built on a hill for sure. Lots of uphill. If there's uphill, then there is downhill. It all balances out. I don't know if I'll be returning to this college any time soon since both my younger brother's kids have graduated from high school. Nevertheless, I was able to capture some new photos from my recent visit. Enjoy them! I am very proud of my niece for her accomplishments. I wish her all the very best in her next chapters in life. Go have more fun adventures!

As a fellow yelper said it so well.. are we really going to rate USC on Yelp? LOL!!…read more I am delighted and thrilled to share I am now an alumna of USC. As a yelper here for over 13 years, I don't sugarcoat my words (or in my reviews), and I don't intend to do so here either. The USC program is rigorous and not for everyone. There were so many readings that I often genuinely wondered if it was even humanly possible to get through them all. Granted, I am a slow reader, and that certainly did not help. Beyond the beautiful campus and the prestige that comes with the school, more importantly know that there is no financial aid for tuition fees for master program. Education does not come cheap. Still I am grateful for the learning experience and for my many professors who were simply wonderful and amazing professionals. A big shout out to Dr. Julianna Kirschner, Professor Monica Koyama, Dr. Muthuswamy and Dr. Courtney Pade. P.S. I do wish I had been in the class of Dr. Bracero and Dr. Akira; I have heard so many amazing things about them.

I didn't attend this prestigious University; however, I joke that I am an honorary alumna. My brothers from another mother all graduated from here, and I attend Homecoming with them every year. In fact, I used to work with Eddie Tannenbaum who discovered Traveler (USC's Mascot) when he was a junior in 1961. The campus is beautiful and features several Romanesque Revival style buildings. A portion of the main campus was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. The Coliseum is in walking distance. I've attended many football games here over the years and have seen Clay Matthews, Reggie Bush, Mark Sanchez, & Matt Leinart play. I remember the glory days of Pete Carroll. Our favorite tailgate party is the one hosted by LAMBDA. They have a great DJ, delicious food, a premium bar, fun activities and, of course, fabulous attendees! This year we were treated to yummy eats from Bludso's BBQ & tasty treats by Ice Cream Occasions. When the party was over, we all headed to the Coliseum for the match between the Trojans & the Huskies. Sadly, we lost this game but we will continue to Fight On!

This school is awful. First of all, the professors are very unprofessional and ghetto. The campus…read moreand classrooms are dilapidated. Some of the instructors were harsh graders but then didn't really teach. The sample work and their lectures were often full of grammar errors. Some of the assignments I submitted that I was really proud of got scored a zero because the professor thought it was AI. They also kept adding on requirements to my degree that were ridiculous. The requirements they have for degrees is honestly insane. You have to jump through hoops to find courses that meet a variety of requirements, mostly related to race and diversity. If you don't want to spend a lot of money and you are looking to learn a lot about racism and diversity and do a lot of coursework in that field, then this might be the place for you. If you are looking to actually learn something about your field, you should probably look elsewhere. There is a reason this school is as cheap as it is. Also, once you start the term they make it nearly impossible to withdraw, regardless of your circumstances. And the financial aid office is impossible to get ahold of. You can request financial aid advising, but in my whole time there, they never once responded to those requests. Meanwhile, they only release appointments at random, unspecified times once a week and it's nearly impossible to get one. So, you're pretty much on your own figuring out financial aid. After experiencing this school, I'm really embarrassed I even picked it in the first place.
