Dennis was amazing! Would highly recommend this company for you AC/Heating needs Friendly and Reliable service Put in my request yesterday evening and they called early this morning to set up appointment for today. Dennis was here by 1030 am and was done by 12 with my AC working great! read more

Scam! Came through home warranty. The absolute worst! The guy came out after the window they told us. The guy did absolutely nothing! Then said the home warranty won't cover anything and that he could fix it on the side. Then proceeded to report false information about the unit. We ended up calling a different company and they fixed the unit same day. Glen Air keeps calling me trying to scare us into purchasing an entire new unit. The issue was a tiny valve. It was fixed and the unit works way too good now. Never use this company! Very dishonest! read more

Sean was perfect: efficient in finding the reason of the AC failure , quick in fixing it, had all the tools and spare parts, friendly and very professional. Many thanks to Glen Aire and Fidelity who has dispatched them read more

They were referred by Fidelity Home Warranty, this company told Fidelity that nothing is wrong with the AC even though the AC is not cooling, they would not fixed it. Even charge us $100 for the second visit which is supposed to be under warranty. I would not recommend this company. They even tried to sell us a new AC unit. Stay away from them and stay away from Fidelity National Home Warranty as well. read more

We had a great experience with Glen Air. We initially had a different AC company come out and tell us that the whole AC unit needed replacing. (As an aside, the tech from this first company was also a bit rude/brusque and told us that no AC unit is meant to run below 70F as it will cause damage to the unit.) The home warranty company wanted a second opinion from Glen Air. The initial tech that came out - Paul - was very professional and thorough. He explained everything to me and diagnosed that it was just the coil that needed replacement. An appointment was later set up and Mike and Dennis showed up to do the replacement. It took a few hours related to the small crawl space and the size of the coil but they did a good job with the replacement. They were also very professional and answered all of our questions thoroughly. In addition, each time that I have had to call Glen Air to get updates or regarding questions that I had, the representatives I spoke to were very polite and helpful. read more

Sonja and staff especially Dennis we're not only professional but timely with outstanding service and expertise. Dennis completed the repair in under 30 minutes and got my A/C running immediately. He also pointed out something very important that was out of code for my HVAC that could be a fire hazard the next time I needed to run the heater. For a small fee, he had the parts and got my heater up to code with a minimal upgrade and investment. Heck my house could have caught on fire next winter. Glen Aire saved the day!!! I'm so grateful!!! read more

Glen Air put me through HELL along with my home warranty company (Fidelity). If this review can save just one person, it'll be worth it. DON'T GO THROUGH THE PAIN AND MISERY THEY PUT ME THROUGH! First off, everything I'm saying is my opinion and my experience. I'm not here to bad mouth anyone but it is what it is and I went through I what I went through. Why do companies who work with home warranties companies have such bad reviews? I asked this question to a legit AC company that has amazing reviews and from what I've experiences is because of the following: These home warranty companies pay pennies to these AC companies (or any company that works with home warranties). So for the fact that they are being paid pennies for their services, their solution is to up charge you on out of pocket costs so they can make up for it. I'll go into how they tried to get me. Is anyone cool at Glen Air? Yes, Sonia and Gabriel gave me up hope that I would be taken care of. Unfortunately I did not get the same impression from Mike (the Lead tech who will barely give you any details and will run out of your home as fast as possible) and of course Dan aka the Manager (the guy who will try to hustle every dollar out of you). Tell me your story! August 2023 - After a few months of living in my brand new home, my AC no longer works. I call home warranty and they bring out Glen Air. Mike comes and after a short time tells me, yes you have a leak and yes we can fix it. Wooohooo, they are going to fix my unit! NOPE!!! he tells me since my unit wasn't installed up to code, I have to address those issues first. Wait what?? He leaves and I'm just lost. Do I have to fix it myself? Are they going to help it fix it? Well after going back and forth with Dan the Manager, he tells me I need to address the following : "He needs to have a one-piece line cover installed two sections of it over 10 feet to prevent the sun from damaging copper. Need to have UV barrier installed around copper to prevent the sun from damaging it. Need to have low voltage put in seal tight to prevent the sun from damaging it. Need to have locking caps installed on condenser to prevent unauthorized access.. Need to install a 30 amp disconnect to service unit. Air handler is in the closet." Guess how much all of this cost me??? $750 dollars!!! Too bad I wasn't smart enough to realize I could do all of this myself for a $100 or something. Well I agree to Dan and more than a month later and suffering through the summer heat with no AC Mike finally comes back. He does all the things above and then fills my AC unit with freon. Now its working. January 2025 - My unit isn't heating now (i have a heat pump system). So all the Freon has leaked out again. Note Glen Air also came back Sept 2024 and added more Freon and a filter (this is where i met Gabriel and was hoping this would finally fix my problem). But it didn't. So now its January and I call home warranty and they send out Glen Air. Now Mike says I need a new air handler to my home warranty company. Awesome! Let me get.a new air handler free of charge. After a week my home warranty calls me, guess what, I'm told they are going to give Glen Air $1100 for the air handler but there are out of pocket costs Glen Air is requesting. Sure, how much is. going to be? A few hundred? NOPE, the are requesting $3,500 from me!!!! Did you hear that?!?! $3300 out of pocket cost to me to replace a Air handler where the system is already 10 years old. Look at what they tried charging me: " $3,305.00, have been provided by the Service Provider and are broken down as follows: INLINE SAFETY FLOAT SWITCH / $125 P-TRAP DRAIN / $85 DISCONNECT BOX W/ FUSES / $195 ELECTRICAL WHIP / $65 HVAC CITY PERMIT / $450 TITLE 24 STATE TESTING / $650 TITLE 24 PREPERATION / $800 DRAIN LINE MODIFICATIONS / $100 COPPER MODIFICATIONS / $200 TRANSITION MODIFICATIONS / $285 SUPPLY MODIFICATIONS / $350 " Did you see what they did??? They say I need a new Disconnect Box with fuses but they installed this disconnect box back in 2023?!?! So your going to install a new one after just one year or so? This proved to me they are scamming people (imo). Full disclosure, Dan said he would remove this charge but sorry to late. At this moment I knew this was a vicious cycle, because what if the issue isn't even the air handler. What if I have a leak somewhere else?? I knew this was never going to end and enough was enough. What is the solution? Tell them off!!!! I told home warranty to give me the cash out of the $1100 so I can address this myself. This is your solution, do not try to go through Glen Air or home warranty. Their goal (imo) is to keep you this crazy cycle of paying them out. When May comes, I'm not renewing my home warranty. I used the money to get a legit AC company who filled up my AC unit with Freon and put a Leak Stopper chemical. All for $250!!! Who knows if it will fix it but its worth a shot. =) read more

This is the worst company to work with. They've inspected my ac and said I only needed coolant but needed me to reach out to my home warranty to have them place a new work order to have them come back out and fill. After I placed another work order and paid another fee, Glen Air came back out and said something was leaking now. The guy said he fixed but 4 weeks later my AC is running hot air and my AC unit is now making a crackling noise. When I called to have them come back out, they said it won't be for another 12 days. This company is not reliable and I feel like I cannot trust their work. Unfortunately, my home warranty is forcing me to continue working with them since they "started" the job/inspection. Do not work with this company if you need your AC fixed. read more

Gabriel was great! Our warranty company sent them out. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and gave us some great tips to keep things running more efficiently. Would definitely call them again! read more

Came out as part of home warrranty for air conditioner, Mike turned off pilot light on furnace after trying to upcharge on a gas line replacement (180$). Mike found an issue with the AC unit, instead of resolving it as part of the home warranty, he left it as is. Would never recommend this company. read more

This company is a scam read all the bad reviews, basically will come out and try to up charge you on a bunch of "problems" that are totally a lie and when you call them to talk to a manager they basically tell you to take it or leave it and hang up on you, stay far away from this company.... read more

Awful, technician was rude and unhelpful. Tried every way to say the issue was my fault. Whatever you do stay away from this company. Poor service. If they are called through home warranty request a new company. read more

Gabe came over to the house on time to repair the AC unit. He was professional, assessed the issue thoroughly, and then fixed our unit. Highly recommend Glen Air for your AC repair. read more

A/C went out and home warranty placed service call to Glen Aire, they said they couldn't be out for about ten days. In called an emergency company that came out same day, but service guy looked at unit and said we needed new motor and blower assembly. I waited for the time I had scheduled with Glen Aire, the service tech came out and trouble shot the system and replaced starter capacitor on motor, also recommend some other services, he also said he would have new motor standing by just in case this one doesn't hold up. I would recommend Glen Aire to my family and friends. read more

This company is very sketchy and will absolutely upcharge you on unnecessary services. I went through my home warranty insurance for HVAC repair. The technician acknowledged the issue was a coolant leak but recommended many unnecessary services that the warranty would not cover. Because of this, the warranty denied the claim unless these unnecessary services were done. I got a second licensed technician opinion and they confirmed that these services were not legally required and were just additional services that Glenair was trying to upcharge. I'm certain they do this as well if you are getting services through them without insurance as well. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS IF POSSIBLE read more

We were having trouble getting cooling to the far side of our house. A friend recommended That we call GlenAir. I called and the next day a nice young man came out to our house to diagnose our problems. He informed us that the HVAC unit was located too far away from the rooms to cool them properly. He said that the best solution would be to put a booster fan in the conduit which sounded logical to me. A couple days later Mike the technician showed up and; Right on Time! He also was friendly and, went right to work in the Attic, it was 98% in the shade. He installed the booster fan in good time and cleaned up and solved our cooling problems. Great response time, Great people, Great price, great job! 5 Stars all day long!. Thank you GlenAir, job well done! Daniel Bryan Jones Author, writer, public speaker. read more

I never heard from them again after second visit when he said he was putting in to replace furnace with my warranty company. I was asked who removed some plate on my furnace. Wasn't me and I realized later he probably never put it back on the first time the tech (same guy) came out. Nice woman answers phone but Ill call someone else next time furnace goes it and it will. read more

Glen Air came to the rescue! Contracted with Fidelity Home Warranty. We had issues with our heater. It stopped working. We also had concerns with our AC. They sent Shawn to do an assessment. About 30min, he was able to do a dianostic. He said the digital board was not working which was not able to communicate to the heater to turn on. He didn't have the part in his truck. It's a special order. About 1 week later, they sent out Scott to install the new digital board. It kinda looks like a mother board for a computer. He called 30min before coming and got it done really fast! One thing that I did like about this company is that they have booties. I did explain to the dispatcher/appt lady Sonia and Natalie to make sure their technician have booties. I have little kids that play on the floor and we want to keep it clean. They listened. The technician had their booties on. They fixed the heater. They got their booties on. Covered by home warranty! We are good! ;) Friendly staff and they were on time! That makes a big difference. read more

Honestly I have no clue how GlenAir has only 3 stars. I had been issued 4 different HVAC contractors from my home warranty company which had ratings from 4.5 to 3.5 star and the services was horrible. They all had issues which prevented them from working on my heating issue. So finally they called GlenAir. GlenAir came out the next day and the technician was super helpful and diagnosed the issue quickly. They order the parts and came out two days later and fixed my HVAC. Mind you it was Christmas Eve. I am a fan and they definitely need more stars. read more

The technician came out and was great. He did all that he could before deeming that we need a new furnace. They put the order into our home warranty and left. 3 weeks went by and we called to follow up and they had never in fact sent the request. I have tried calling during business hours and they don't answer. I have waited for an email from them and they have not responded. They don't call back and I still don't have heat. I have an infant and this has been important to fix and they don't seem to care. Their communication has been awful. I will not be using their services nor recommending them. read more

We just had to have an install done due to having a broken A/C unit from when we moved into our new house. We had another company come out prior to GlenAir and we had a terrible experience to say the least. Each time we were in contact with GlenAir they were always professional. Two gentlemen came to do our install, Fadul and Jonathan. They came on time, greeted us with a smile (at least their eyes looked like that from under their masks), were professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. They always kept us in the loop of what was going on. I felt so comfortable with them completing this job and knowing it was going to be done right. They take pride in their work and I could easily see it. Fadul and Jonathan are employees that every company should strive to have. These guys deserve a raise. Great company, great employees. read more

This company is a waste of time and energy. Sherry and Catalina are the absolute worst. If you're lucky enough to have her one of them call you back, congrats. I've left message after message after message. So many that I completely gave up and completely forgot about it. I Still have not had my final inspection and now have to pay to extend the permit application. I've started calling again and, SURPRISE, I still haven't had call backs. The technicians are great. The rest of the company is crap. read more

The technician, office staff and service supervisor were all professional, kind and personable. We were feeling uneasy about having service done in our home given the pandemic going on, but they showed up in gloves, face masks and booties which set our minds at ease. Also, they came out on a Friday and found out what the issue was and they were back Monday morning at 8am to fix the problem. If we have any issues with our heating/air in the future we will for sure be using Glenair again!! read more

It took one week for the company to send a technician to come over and check the issue with my AC problem. GlenAir gave me a 4 hr window wait time (2 PM to 6 PM) and they were supposed to call me 15 minutes ahead. Finally their technician (Daniel) called me about 5 PM while he was in front the house and I was away and had to rush to be there. Technician fixed the problem in 5 minutes and spent about 25 minutes to sell me other services and scaring me if I do not follow his suggestions the house might be on fire. It seems the job he did may not be even done per code. Meanwhile he was non-stop complaining that he's been working overtime without any day off. read more

Had my initial appointment, the rep came he was very knowledgeable. was told he would have to come back and do an isolation test, got a message from home warranty said glenair would contact me for follow up appointment, gave them a couple days to do that but it never happened. since then I've called 5 times starting Aug 5th, left multiple voicemails to attempt to set up the 2nd appointment. no one has called me back, this company is a complete waste of your life. if you are ever assigned to this company please just /hard pass and get someone else so you won't be left hanging read more

I had an issue with my AC not getting cold. I was in the middle of selling my house so this was a major concern and difficult to find someone to come get it done during this pandemic craziness! One of their technicians named Daniel came and within 15 minutes, he legitimately figured out what was wrong and had it fixed within the hour. He was prompt, respectful of my home and my AC worked better than it did before! I'm spreading the word about these guys and using them again next time. read more

We had A/C problem and they came the next day. They were very professional from the beginning, and they schedule an appointment the next day. I was very appreciated it on these hot days. One gentle man, Abel came to our house. He was very kind and amazing. He came on time, gave me a call before he arrived, and communicate with me with any problems. He diagnosis the problem quickly. He explained the issues easily so that I (who doesn't have knowledge on A/C) can understand. He let us know what was the cause of the problem, how it should be fixed, and what will be the next step. He told me that he needs to comeback with the part that cause a problem and they will call me to schedule for the next visit. He was very professional and respectful. read more

Our air conditioner has not worked well in the past 6 years that we've lived in our home. We've had several service calls on the unit. It finally got to the point where it was cooler outside of the house than it was inside, during the summer. We called our home warranty AGAIN and they dispatched GlenAir. Initially, they took a little bit of time to schedule the appointment, but lucky for us there was a cancellation and we were able to get the technician to come out the same week. I had to work, so my husband was here with the technician. When I came home, it actually felt cool in the house. My husband even had the oven on and it was cool in the house. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend GlenAir to ANYONE I know. Great work GlenAir! Thank you!!! read more
