Rule Number 1 in London: Walk
Rule Number 1a: Always, always and by all means venture off the main roads.
Example: Glebe Place, off the King's Road.
After having passed by this road for literally years, I finally took a turn last autumn and didn't regret it: It's one of those London streets full of lovely houses (that you'll never be able to afford) that get your imagination going. Such as the fairytale castle-type place at the end of the road that's visible from the King's Road. I wonder what it looks like inside. And who's living there ...
