Their rate was very reasonable and they were able to come quickly (a godsend with the various heatwaves we've had recently) and fixed the sash ropes so the windows now work well and you wouldn't even know they were once broken. Eventually I may want to install new windows (that match the previous style) in my bedroom due to noise disturbances from outside, and I won't hesitate to reach out to Gilberto Arellano Windows to assist with that project as well.

We needed to replace failed double-pane bay windows in our 1911 Edwardian and after 3 disappointing bids (confusing, un-professional, late) I called Gilberto Arellano. Best call ever! Gilberto came to our house, measured, presented a bid on the same day, and met every possible hope and expectation. He was helpful negotiating our vision of colored glass, tempered glass and design elements. On the day of installation, three professional craftsmen arrived and six hours later, after focused shaving and fitting, our three double-hung windows work to perfection. Gilberto Arellano and his team of craftsmen know precisely the art of wood windows in San Francisco. Dream project!

We hired Window Replacement Center to replace two sliding glass doors, and some picture windows…read morewith unusual requirements - one was octagonal-shaped, and two windows met at a corner of the house where there was no structural support. Project manager Mark Kobzanets took careful measurements, suggested options for windows from Milgard and Marvin, and gave us accurate estimates on lead times, especially for the octagonal window which required custom manufacturing work from Marvin. The price quote was competitive with the other companies we had solicited bids from. Mark also worked with the City of San Francisco building department on our behalf to obtain permits and inspections, as well as dealing with the city when some of our style choices were not acceptable with city regulations. For an existing window in need of repair, Mark told us how we could work with Milgard to get it replaced under warranty. Installers Simon and Yuri were very professional. They respected the property during the installation, expertly mounted the windows and doors including adding a structural post to the corner of the house. They also did exquisite craftsman work on the window trim. The windows look great, are quieter, and seal the house better. We are very happy with the results and the experience working with Window Replacement Center. We would hire them again without hesitation.

Replacing condo windows on a busy boulevard in San Francisco is complex with many moving parts. I…read moreoutlined the scope of the job gathering and researching the following entities before committing dollars to the project: Review CC&R Restrictions and getting HOA approval Identifying restrictions and window standards with the San Francisco Planning Department Identifying a Window Vendor with a bonded and insured Licensed Contractor with favorable reviews in the installation of the windows. I gathered quotes from (4) window companies comparing apples to apples after reading every review. What the other companies did not disclose was the complexity of installing fire rate windows except for Deluxe Window. Felix is not just a salesman but one with decades of knowledge and experience in the field. Felix disclosed that I would need scaffolding to install (3) fire rated windows and that the custom order would take 16 weeks for build. Also, that I would need written permission from my neighbor to add the scaffolds to reach my unit on the fourth floor. I appreciated the honesty with potential road blocks that can be resolved and dealt with early on in the project with open communication. None of the other companies that came out to quote me disclosed this information. Deluxe estimates were in line and comparable. Throughout the project, I was in constant communication with Darja who sent email outlining steps to guide me through the process from billing, materials, deadlines and installation. 16 weeks sounds like a long time to build windows but Fyre Tec windows are quality worth the wait. I also went with Anlin single hung windows for the ease of cleaning and life time warranty transfers. My installation took three days to complete with installer George paying close attention to details in water proofing, sealant, foam installation, caulking and trimming the frames. The City Building Inspector signed off to continue work and the second appointment to get final sign off of the permit went through without a hitch. The project was work but Deluxe Windows and the company's competent staff mentioned above help make this into a successful work in progress to final completion. The Deluxe staff were there to answer every and all of my questions. The windows look fabulous and sound proofing has helped minimize the busy street noise.

I'm very disappointed with my experience…read more This company replaced an insulated glass unit (IGU) in a window prior to my purchase of the home. From the very first rainy season after installation, the window leaked from the interior corners. I have photos documenting the leak during that initial warranty period. The installer later acknowledged that the exterior perimeter of the IGU was never weather-sealed, yet claimed this was an "optional" service rather than a required part of the installation. As a result, the window allows water intrusion during wind-driven rain. When I contacted the company to resolve the issue, responsibility was repeatedly deflected to other parties, and I was told the warranty had expired -- despite the defect existing from the start. No reasonable effort was made to correct the incomplete installation, even with active leaks during the rainy season. I would not recommend this company if you expect proper weatherproofing, accountability, or support when issues arise.

He was there to supervise when the scaffolding team arrived and again when they took it away, making sure that everything was cleaned up, un-damaged, and locked-up when they left.  I have already recommended him to a neighbor.

A few weeks later, Vince & Michael Feeney came out to take measurements & sent us an estimate. After a quick visit to their window assembly location to have questions answered & to drop off our deposit, Patricia, the Office Manager, put us on the schedule for mid-November. She also referred us to a painter who was able to paint our windows onsite at Foxtail Hill before our scheduled day. The morning of our installation day, the installers Francisco & Ediberto arrived promptly to prep the room for removing our old windows.
