Going into this, my wife and I thought the whole process would be stressful and time-consuming but they made it completely smooth and painless from start to finish. Leon was extremely attentive, responsive, and patient, taking the time to answer all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. The team was efficient, professional, and showed up exactly when they said they would which, these days, is rare and greatly appreciated. They were also very mindful and respectful of our home throughout the entire installation process. What really stood out was not just the service, but the value. After getting multiple quotes, Window Station offered a more competitive price AND a better-quality product than the others. That combination is hard to beat. Overall, this was one of the best home improvement experiences we've had. Highly recommend Leon and the entire Window Station team you won't be disappointed!

I like fixing things in my house myself when I can, but when two of my original Victorian…read moredouble-hung windows from 1900 broke, I watched exactly one YouTube video and knew I needed a professional to resolve the issue for fear of making mistakes. Their rate was very reasonable and they were able to come quickly (a godsend with the various heatwaves we've had recently) and fixed the sash ropes so the windows now work well and you wouldn't even know they were once broken. Eventually I may want to install new windows (that match the previous style) in my bedroom due to noise disturbances from outside, and I won't hesitate to reach out to Gilberto Arellano Windows to assist with that project as well.

We needed to replace failed double-pane bay windows in our 1911 Edwardian and after 3 disappointing bids (confusing, un-professional, late) I called Gilberto Arellano. Best call ever! Gilberto came to our house, measured, presented a bid on the same day, and met every possible hope and expectation. He was helpful negotiating our vision of colored glass, tempered glass and design elements. On the day of installation, three professional craftsmen arrived and six hours later, after focused shaving and fitting, our three double-hung windows work to perfection. Gilberto Arellano and his team of craftsmen know precisely the art of wood windows in San Francisco. Dream project!

We hired Window Replacement Center to replace two sliding glass doors, and some picture windows…read morewith unusual requirements - one was octagonal-shaped, and two windows met at a corner of the house where there was no structural support. Project manager Mark Kobzanets took careful measurements, suggested options for windows from Milgard and Marvin, and gave us accurate estimates on lead times, especially for the octagonal window which required custom manufacturing work from Marvin. The price quote was competitive with the other companies we had solicited bids from. Mark also worked with the City of San Francisco building department on our behalf to obtain permits and inspections, as well as dealing with the city when some of our style choices were not acceptable with city regulations. For an existing window in need of repair, Mark told us how we could work with Milgard to get it replaced under warranty. Installers Simon and Yuri were very professional. They respected the property during the installation, expertly mounted the windows and doors including adding a structural post to the corner of the house. They also did exquisite craftsman work on the window trim. The windows look great, are quieter, and seal the house better. We are very happy with the results and the experience working with Window Replacement Center. We would hire them again without hesitation.

Unfortunately, the original contractor did a pretty poor job--the door was crooked, and the door lock wasn't installed properly either. In the end, I decided to switch to Dajk and have them finish the work. They did an excellent job. The door is now properly installed, with beautiful trim and proper insulation. They also offered to help fix the door lock that was damaged by the previous contractor. I really appreciate their work and professionalism. I'll definitely go back to Dajk for future door and window projects!

He is one of the most honest and quality-focused contractors I have ever worked with. During planning, I spoke to a number of other contractors who wanted to use retrofit windows and just leave the siding in place. Alan took the time to explain the proper way that the building wrap, siding and windows had to interface to get waterproofing, and how we were better off replacing all three if we wanted to be sure we'd fix our problem. Even with this extra scope, Alan's pricing was very fair. Thank god we went with Alan. When they removed the existing siding, they found severe water damage underneath the siding and a subpar earlier repair job. When this surprise came up, Alan talked us through the damage and gave us our options. They ended up ripping up two layers of existing siding, cutting out damaged building sheathing and replacing it with new plywood, before proceeding with the job. The overrun costs were very reasonable and we never felt like Alan was taking advantage of us. The end result was great quality at a fair price, and peace of mind that our issues have been resolved and we won't have to worry about the front / roof for a long time now. I would definitely hire Alan again and would recommend him to anyone looking for this kind of work.
