I spent almost $500, and I left with my hair looking damaged, dry, and unhealthy. My highlights are also several different colors, and many pieces of my hair have broken off. I completely understand that bleaching comes with risks and can cause damage to any type of hair. However, I felt that my stylist was extremely busy and was working with multiple clients at the same time. Throughout my appointment, I was moved to different chairs and was sometimes only checked on after she finished applying color to another client. I don't necessarily blame the stylist, because it seemed like she was being stretched between too many clients at once. However, considering the amount of money I spent, I expected much more attention to my hair and a better overall result. I have since gone to another salon to have my hair corrected as much as possible. Unfortunately, because of the amount of damage and breakage, I was advised that I need to wait at least a month before they can safely do anything further with my hair. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the experience and the condition my hair was left in, especially after spending nearly $500.

I arrived almost 10 minutes late because I was coming from over an hour away. The ladies in the shop were very understanding and still had time for us. Everyone was professional and all of the ladies were styled beautifully - full makeup, nice hair-do's and dressed up. The place itself was pretty - well lit and the furniture was really nice. There were big mirrors too. I loved the fact that when they washed your hair, there was a little footrest when you tilted back. Nice touch!! All in all, we were out in about 30 minutes start to finish. We both got some nice, loose curls and they stayed throughout the evening. We felt like a million dollars when we left. All in all, a good job by professional women in a relaxing environment. There is a public parking lot directly across the street, which made it easy to get in and out.

At this point, I have done color, cuts, blowouts, curls and makeup here and always been happy. Most recently, I was sitting in a chair when I realized that I needed a last minute bouquet and boutonniere for a wedding. Gianna started texting on her phone and had it sorted out in 5 minutes flat! She was a few minutes late into my appt, which was fine, since I wasn't in a hurry at that time. Asja is very friendly and personable. At one point before she started cutting my hair, she asked me a question and I didn't understand what she said (she speaks w/a very strong accent). She picked up a razor and asked if it was okay if she used it to cut my hair. I said sure, why not? As I was waiting to pay, I just so happened to confirmed the price of my haircut - and that's when I found out that w/her utilizing a razor, they charge an additional $10! I told the receptionist that I had no idea that it cost more! She said, "oh, well, then we'll just charge you $5." I really don't understand why they would charge more for this and can't justify the extra cost since all she did was use a different tool and honestly, it seemed much easier for her to use rather than a pair of scissors (which she did use, as well). I was completely put off by this. If you're going to offer a certain type of service but not tell the customer that's an additional fee, that's just shady. It's a shame, because while I think she did a good job cutting my hair, I don't care for people not being completely transparent with me.

I tried two new stylists and wasn't thrilled with their work, so I tried a third. My experience with that third stylist was so bad that I was terrified to get a trim for six years. I'm extremely finicky over my length and always make a point to stress this. The stylist cut my mid-back length hair to my shoulders. I cried looking in the mirror most days for a good year, and I'm not exaggerating. Anyway...this place is incredible. Steve actually LISTENS and Carla is a talented and honest colorist. My hair was obviously in a state at this point where I needed to lose 5-6 inches of split ends and I was still happy when I left. Steve cut it in a way that would normally be uncomfortably short for me, but it still flattered my oval face. Been a regular for about two years now and he still starts small unless I tell him to cut more. Really refreshing coming from all these hairdressers that think "just take 1 inch" means they can get away with taking 4 and I won't notice. Two additional pluses: -Very reasonable pricing. If you are paying $100+ for a haircut you're being scammed. They're honest enough to keep their prices low so tip accordingly. -Resident chunky orange cat If they ever close or retire I will 100% go back to having scary uncut witch hair.

APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you are a first timer, you will get texted to review and accept their Covid policy. In the text you will also get direction for parking in which they will direct you to a parking lot located behind the salon (pay by the hours). Upon arrival, you will get your hands sanitized and temperature checked. Instead of vinyl apron they will provide you with a disposable, clear rain coat to wear over your clothes for the haircut. My hair stylist is Hiroshi and I plan on requesting him whenever I need a cut. I love his hair cutting technique and precision. He has also colored my hair from a light bleached yellowish red to dark brown (almost black), just in time for the colder season.
