I have been a patient of Dr Igoe for several years. I am pretty happy with his care. He spends…read morequite a bit of time with me during every visit and is thorough. I always found his staff friendly and helpful, especially when I had a couple urgent issues over the years - they always fit me in very quickly. I had a proof of how Dr Igoe treats his customers when my husband had an emergency: even though he is NOT a patient, just a spouse of one, Dr came to the office just to see him ON HIS DAY OFF! What more could one ask for? I also appreciate his very dry sense of humor!

I went to this doctor because he took care of my mom. My husband and I both went to him. He told my…read morehusband he didn't need glasses and now has to see a another doctor to see if he needs glasses. He still is having a hard time seeing. Now myself. I went to him the first time and he gave me a script. I took my script to Costco because they have a great price. I waited for the script and I wore them for a week to get adjusted but was still having a hard time seeing. I went back to Costco and they said that was the script given. I almost got in a car accident. So I went back to Dr. Igoe and he said he accidentally gave me the wrong script. He jokingly said " I think you were just lying" He wrote a note to Costco and said he gave me the wrong script. I was patiently waiting for another pair of glasses. I got them and I was so upset I couldn't see out of them. I was upset while at Costco and the girl asked to see my old glasses. She said I must have gotten the wrong script again. My old glasses and the new script are way off. They said that eyes don't change that much. I sent Dr. Igoe's office all the paper work and tried to talk to the staff. All they said was they were going to give me my records as requested. She was rude on the phone when I tried to ask questions. Dr. Igoe has yet to call me to help. I no longer would want to go to them. Very rude. I foster Veterans in my home. Each time I have running around to do I have to pay for a caregiver to come to the home. The gas I have to use running back and forth. The money out of pocket for the glasses my insurance doesn't cover. The money for the co-pays for his office. The aggravation Myself and Costco has to deal with and he doesn't even have the nerve to call me or talk to me when I called the office. I have all the paper work. Now I have to start all over again. It's very frustrating because I trusted going here. Now my mom is scared to go there and now we have to find another doctor for her. She's 80 years old and is upset also. I highly recommend doing your homework before going here. This was a horrible experience and I'm still having to deal with this. Given the amount of time and energy that I put forth, I'm not looking for compensation; I just hope this doesn't happen to other patients.

My family and I have had a wonderful experience at Westchester Eye Center. We've been to many eye…read moredoctors who have wanted to charge us extra for a "contact lens fitting", eyeglass fitting, and even "monthly contact lens vs. daily contact lens fitting". Our old eye doctor claimed that there was a different fitting procedure of soft daily wear lenses vs. monthly wears and wanted us to come in... AGAIN (more $$$), but I digress... Dr. Siavelis was very personable and let us know that that was NOT the case. She made sure that our eyes were healthy and gave my family some different options for lenses based on our eyes' current health as well as my family's activity level. She took the time to let us know that what the BEST lenses were for our family based on our activities, which other doctors never took the time to do. My kids are swimmers and none of our old eye dr's took to time to consider that they might get horrible fungal infections from monthly soft contact lenses. Dr. Siavelis not only did a thorough examination of our eyes, but also asked us what our family activities were to make recommendations regarding eyewear, which I really appreciated.

Nothing out of the ordinary except one document agreeing to pay a $125.00 fee if I missed an appointment and failed to give the office a 72 hour advance notification of cancellation. I refused signing and was advised by the front office staff that I would not be able to see the Dr., unless I signed the document. I asked to speak to the Dr., directly. He came out, we spoke and he subsequently preformed the exam. On 10/24/26 I received a certified signature require letter from the office stating that due to my refusal to sign the form their office could no longer see me as a patient. Just wanted to warn anyone seeking eye care not to use this practice. Not sure how they came up with that $125.00 price tag and the 72 hour notification period, I believe both are excessive. I will seek eye care from a different provider, but wanted to inform others who need eye services to be leary of this type office practice. Have you ever received $125.00 when your Dr., cancelled your appointment? And if so, did they abide by the same 72 hour notification requirement? Heads up people it is a brave new world out there!!
