I can't say it loud enough...this pet door installed by Glassman is the best home improvement we have ever made. contacted Glassman, they came out and measured my door, got me a price (very reasonable) The two young men that came out for the install were amazing, professional and freaking fast and also loved my dogs. all in all this was one of the best home improvement experiences we have had since we moved back the PNW read more

We used to live in Texas, but bought a house in the downtown Sumner area in 2024. July, 2026: A large picture window (4 x 5) located above an interior stairwell had lost it's seal and needed replacement. The window was located on the second floor and was difficult to access from the outside because of a cedar fence that prevented ladder placement, and from the inside because it was about 9 feet above the stairway landing. We had the window glass replaced, not the entire window. Most of the work was accomplished from inside the house on step ladders. Everything from the initial quote, to ordering the replacement window glass, to installation went very smoothly and according to plan. There were no unpleasant surprises, they showed up when planned, and the cost was reasonable compared to another company that gave us a quote. The installers were friendly, very competent, and they cleaned everything up well. Overall we are very pleased with the product and service. read more

Contacted them for two new glass installs because I had two stress cracks from putting up blackout screens on my windows. They came and measured quickly. Today was day of install and not only were the techs nice but quick and shut my fence before leaving. (If you have dogs you know it's a big deal) Lillie was extremely helpful and I appreciate her being able to email me due to my work schedule to set up times etc. it was also much cheaper than I expected especially because competitors only would replace the entire window which was 1000's of dollars. Couldn't recommend them enough! read more

I recently needed to replace a small window in my garage door after my son accidentally threw a baseball through it. I first contacted a local garage door company and was quoted over $400 just to replace the glass. I decided to call GlassMan instead. I gave them the somewhat odd dimensions of the glass panel, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They walked me through a few things to check and gave me great advice on the replacement. Even better, they charged me less than $20 for the piece of glass and had it cut and ready in about 12 hours. When I got home and tried to install it, I realized I had mis-measured. I brought the glass back to GlassMan, and they re-cut it for me at no additional charge. Great customer service, quick turnaround, and very fair pricing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing glass work. Thank you, GlassMan! read more

GlassMan is so incredible and so professional. I have used them on lots of shower enclosures and a few window glass replacements. I was having a hard time getting prices for a window from normal suppliers and Geoff was there to measure a shower and reminded me they do windows. I had an estimate in about 1 hour and ordered that day. I will be using them for all of my glass needs from now on read more

We have been trying to get a window fixed, that the magnification is no longer in business. Several window companies would only quote to replace the window. When I called GlassMan they had several options to include trying to find replacement parts for our window, which was hundreds of dollars less than replacing a perfectly good window. Kaeli went above and beyond researching options to fix our window. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and gave great customer service. I will definitely use GlassMan in the future and highly recommend them. Thank you Kaeli and GlassMan! read more

We finally decided to get a full pet door insert for our sliding glass door, and Glassman was the best choice to get this done. The insert was installed today and it is great. We finally get before opening of our sliding door back and all the locking mechanisms on the door are able to be used. This is a great product and this local company does a great job ordering and installing. read more

We just had GlassMan replace our slider and 6 windows. Everything from the estimate to the actual replacement went extremely smooth. We had 4 other estimates before deciding to go with Glassman. One estimate was from a big box store, another was from nationwide glass replacement company and two were from local companies. Glassman was the only company we felt was knowledgeable and professional. They listened to our concerns and their customer service is excellent! Their installers were on time, quick and thorough. We are extremely pleased with the new windows. read more

They no-showed their appt to "measure" an existing patio door for replacement (5/10). I agreed to the appt over the phone, took the day off and they responded to their no-show via TEXT. No apologies, valid reasons given or remedies other than a future appt. No longer on my list of companies to call. read more

They installed a glass shower enclosure for us. It was not sealed properly and had a slow leak that went unnoticed at first. We had to replace our brand new floor. Company refuses to pay for the floor. They did come out and fix the problem. Not happy with their customer service or lack of. Be warned. read more

Nothing better than working with a locally owned small business. Last year I needed a new glass for a sliding door and also needed a dog door. I was excited to find I could have a dog door installed in the sliding glass! Everyone at GlassMan is super! From the office ladies, the guy who measured the door, and to the installers. Super professional and quality work! And Now that I have moved into a new house, and need a dog door again, GlassMan was my first call!! read more

I was very disappointed with the service given here. The quote for my shower doors was inaccurate (the pictures did not match what I had asked for) and when asking for clarification, the person was very rude and condescending. I would not recommend this place. It was also well over $500 more than the bid we received from another custom glass specialist. read more

Had all windows and sliding door replaced in my house. Gordon was prompt and responsive throughout. He helped me figure out what I needed and I never worried he wasn't giving me a fair price. He was my first realtor recommendation and the best one so far! read more

We are very happy with these guys. They installed shower doors in our master bathroom remodel. We chose them because we heard good things about these guys from our neighbors, the quoted cost was several hundred dollars lower than another bid we received, and with glassman the hydroshield treatment was already included but the other company quoted that as an add-on for another $500. They kept all appointments as expected, and called when they had to move the scheduled measuring appt back by half an hour. Only reason this is 4 star review instead of 5 is there were a couple times I had to call and ask for an update on where we were, but each time I called they did get back to me and we stayed on track. I have no issues calling the contractor to ask for an update, so it wasn't a problem for me. I will definitely use them again when I need glass done. read more

They did such a good job replacing a few window panes in our old craftsman home! Scheduling was easy and the two-man crew was quick and efficient (in and out in just about 2 hours) and cleaned up any mess as they went. read more

I had skylights from when our house was built which had failed. I called almost every single company to come replace. Meridian Glass came out and measured and I had to call them 7 times to get a quote after, which lined up with all their reviews online. I called liberty glass, they advised me to just get up on my roof and do it myself..... okay? I called Seattle skylight, the girl on the phone couldn't even tell me what brand skylight they used when installing. My friend recommended i use Glassman. They were prompt in getting someone out to measure & quote me. They also Quoted me 2 weeks until an install could happen with ordering time. Well 7 days later i get a call after making the order with them that they got the skylights in and wanted to have someone come out the next day to install them! :) The installers were friendly and very informative. They took the time to show me what had gone wrong with the previous skylights, and answered any questions i had for them. I can tell you they will be getting all my business as we change out windows throughout the time we own this house! Thanks guys! read more

Horrible service. I pre-ordered a piece of glass and made a ridiculous effort to pick it up after an appointment. When I got it home, it was several inches too long and the wrong thickness. I also cut myself while unwrapping it as the edges had been left sharp. When I called I was repeatedly put on hold by a rude woman who told me I must have "gotten the wrong glass." I didn't "get" the wrong glass. She sold me the wrong glass after handing it to me over the counter. I couldn't return it, because they are only open while I'm at work. Never again, Glassman. Never again. read more

Very sad. Went to this business before Christmas 2020 to request a quote for replacing my sliding back door. Apparently the project is not large enough. I called a week later when I had not heard from them to schedule an appointment. The lady had a variety of excuses for not contacting me, in that there wasn't enough time, she didn't receive the info, etc. Its been WEEKS now, and I still haven't heard from them. Sad because I was hoping to keep this to a local business and not a large box store. Very disappointed. read more

Great company. I needed help with new glass for my fireplace door. They were friendly, fast and affordable. I very much recommend this business. read more

Don't ever use this company. After not showing up for a scheduled appointment ( o.k. there was snow), with no communication. They showed up 2 days later without a confirmed appointment. I let the guy in (Bob Waring ). I needed alot if help which he basically told me he didnt want to be spinning his wheels because they were very busy. He was such an unhelpful ass that I kicked him out. I didnt even want them to come over in the first place. He totally ruined my day, and it was my birthday too. read more

The best Glass shop from here to Seattle! Thank you for all the help Glassman!

We had 13 windows that were broken when we bought our home and Glassman came to the rescue. The new panes blend in perfectly with the existing windows and the price was fair and in our budget. We will use them for all of our future repairs (crossing our fingers we won't have any though)! read more

We couldn't be happier with these guys. My house had some VERY strange window issues and they were the ONLY ones who looked at these old, complex, windows and agreed to do it. Highly recommend. Thank you Glass man.. and thank you Laurie in particular, everyone there is great but I had the pleasure of working with Laurie... super knowledgeable, super professional and NICE TO TALK WITH. A rare combo these days.... read more

Our landlord replaced all of the home's windows with Glassman just after we moved in. I don't know what she paid, but I can tell you it was too much. At first, we were pleased with the installers. While they were here, they were prompt, courteous, professional, etc. The windows were installed in Jan '09. A couple of months later, we noticed a tiny crack in the upper corner of one window; it had been covered by the blinds previously. I went round and round with Glassman to get someone out to look at the crack. When someone finally came by, I was told it was a pressure crack and not terribly uncommon but that they wouldn't be fixing it as their warranty was expired after 30 days. Now, three years later, 3 of the 9 windows they installed are damaged. Besides the broken one they refused to replace, there's two windows that don't slide properly. One barely opens, the other won't stay up. Shoddy. read more

I had three jobs done by the Glassman. Two things were ok. The third was a window and terrible. I tried to get Bob Waring the owner to come and look at it and make it right. He was terrible he wouldn't come out to check the window. Terrible customer service or lack of it. He said he was to busy to take care of us. "Over promises" and under delivers. Run from this business. Shoddy work and doesn't stand behind or warranty work. read more

I called to request a quote to replace a broken bathroom window. Was told that "someone from scheduling will call to arrange an inspection and measurement." Three days later I get a voicemail that said "I've got a quote to replace your window, give us a call and we'll go over it". Funny thing is, they never came out to measure or inspect. How the heck do they know how much something is going to cost without even doing a visual estimate?!?!? Poor business practice, I'll not be calling them again. read more

Horrible customer service!! Ask about warranty and they give me the stink eye. The ladies that answer the phone are rude. I'll go to Glassworks in Puyallup next time I need work done and will not refer anyone to them. read more

I asked for a bid on reglazing two windows from the Glassman. It turned out that their bid was 35% cheaper than anyone else's and they were prompt getting the windows installed. It turned out one window was scratched; they mad me aware of it and will replace that window in a couple of days. I will be using their services again for other windows. read more

We tried twice to get information about replacing a shower door. It was Hard to get an estimate- the estimator was late and no phone call. I had to follow up with calls 3 times to get a date for the install one it was ordered- and the calls were not met with a friendly reception- I felt we were inconveniencing them? The actual installer was very nice and did a great job but the wrong handle was ordered. Getting that fixed was also a problem- missed appointments and not even a call to let us know they couldn't make it? Seems very disorganized and poor customer service. Would not go back read more

Our initial correspondence via email went smoothly and we believed we were on our way to a positive experience getting our in-glass pet door installed. However, the costumer service quickly took a turn for the worse. We spent weeks trying to get the initial measuring scheduled. They'd tell us they'd call right back, only to go days without calling. After I'd email them they'd finally call back, schedule something, and cancel it hours before it was supposed to take place. Then it was back to waiting for a callback, which again was days late. After almost 3 weeks of back and forth, we finally took our business elsewhere and had someone out from another company that same day. It was clear that Glassman did not value our business at all, and if they would have been transparent from the start and told us they were 3-4 weeks away from even measuring our glass I would have appreciated the honesty, but there was none of that. Don't waste your time like I did, when there are plenty of glass companies out there that will actually value their costumers. read more

Sometimes one must go with a company that does one specialty correct..if a shower door enclosure is what your looking for then these guys have got it down. Estimate and installation was a breeze, installer was professional...when you spend 20K on a new bathroom , everything needs to be spot on, our 2 piece door looks great! For home window repair and new window installation I would do my homework a little better and go with a company that does just that service only...Just a thought...Otherwise, great company to use!! read more

All I can say good about doing business with The Glassman is the young man (the boss' son) did a good job installing the 2 windows. He was polite and asked if everything looked good. GROSSLY overcharged on install and transportation charges. Office staff(Nansi) is incompetent. Couldn't give me a straight answer about anything. She gave me differenet amounts and didn't know what tax to charge. Then, she only gave me a quote for one window instead of 2. Can't she read? This was after Bob had come out to measure. I don't think she cared if she helped me or not. I called to state my upset about being charged 366.00 to install 2 windows that took less than a half hour to install., Bob the owner first spoke to me as if I were a child and then got angry and argumentative. After asking what my husband did for a living, he said"oh he makes plenty of money", and "his company makes plenty of money." Is this a reason to rip me off? My husband works in a totally different industry, no comparison to installing glass. In any case it was inappropriate for him to say these things to me. I should not have hired them and never will again. I should have found the receipt to the last glass place we used in Kent. I could not remember the name of the place, but they did a good job for a reasonable price. Bob at the Glassman can charge what he likes, but he won't ever get my business again. Good customer service is just as important as installing the glass and the product. read more
