With young four kids at home, I wanted to feel confident that I was in expert hands, and that's exactly what I found here. From the first consultation through recovery, everything felt thoughtful, organized, and incredibly patient-centered. Every member of the staff was kind, responsive, and genuinely supportive, which made a potentially stressful experience feel surprisingly easy. What really stood out was the level of personal care. During the Blizzard of '26 -- when most of the city was essentially shut down -- Dr. Neinstein himself came to check on me at my hotel to make sure I was doing well. That level of dedication is rare and speaks volumes about who he is as both a surgeon and a person. Traveling for care can feel intimidating, but this team made the entire process seamless. I always felt informed, safe, and completely supported every step of the way. The outcome is beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Dr. Chris Funderburk himself has been a pleasure and has done great work for me. This review is not about him--he gets 5 stars. I came in for my first laser facial with Nurse Tara Adashev on 2/17/2026 using the Lutronic Ultra system. I had generally great skin but wanted to improve some minor childhood acne scarring and a separate surgical scar. The procedure went well, and I was instructed to stay out of the sun for 7 days before returning to my normal routine. I followed those instructions and had no issues. Three months later, I returned for a second treatment. I was told it would be the same Lutronic Ultra treatment but on a higher setting. Before the procedure, numbing cream was applied to my face and neck. It is supposed to remain on for at least 30 minutes, but Nurse Tara came in after only about 20 minutes and wanted to begin. I told her my face was still not numb and that I wanted to wait longer. She insisted I would be fine and started anyway. The procedure was extremely painful, and I spent much of it squirming with tears running down my face. Afterward, I texted Office Manager Becca Feldman to ask how long I should avoid sun exposure. She told me 7 days. Assuming the post-care instructions were the same as my first treatment, I followed that advice. After 7 days, I went outside wearing SPF 70 sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. That turned out to be a major mistake. I developed severe burning and hyperpigmentation across my face, particularly on my cheeks and forehead. Even worse, the treatment left two visible scars on my neck and one on my face near my left temple. After several weeks with no improvement, I contacted the office. Rather than showing concern, I was told by Nurse Tara that I should have avoided the sun for 2 weeks, not 1 week, despite having been instructed otherwise by Becca Feldman via text. I received no apology for the incorrect post-care instructions or for the scars that resulted. I was also informed that I had not received the Lutronic Ultra treatment I requested. Instead, I was told a more powerful CO2 laser had been used. The day before this procedure, my skin was nearly flawless with an even complexion. Now I am dealing with severe hyperpigmentation and permanent facial and neck scarring. After spending nearly $30,000 at this clinic over time, I requested a refund for this treatment and was denied. What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability. No apology from Office Manager Becca Feldman for providing incorrect post-care instructions. No apology from Nurse Tara Adashev. No apology from anyone at the practice. Instead, they kept the more than $1,500 I paid and offered a prescription for skin-bleaching cream to address the damage. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice for laser treatments. The inconsistent post-care instructions, lack of communication, and refusal to take responsibility for a poor outcome have been deeply disappointing. Anyone considering laser procedures here should proceed with extreme caution.

I am a 26-year-old male, who had -8 prescription contacts in both eyes. I was absolutely devastated…read morewhen within a months time at age 25, my tear production gave up. I was no longer able to wear the contacts which gave me vision since my early teens. My eyes were simply too dry. After a few months of misery in glasses, I looked into LASIK. But the price? It was beyond my reach. That is, until I found LASIK on GROUPON. I figured, I need to be very careful, after all, why would any self-respecting doctor need a coupon for customers? Boy was I wrong! I scheduled my initial assessment free of charge, as usual with these places. Upon entering PLC, I was impressed with the organization, presentation, and comfort of the office and staff. I helped myself to some cookies and coffee while I waited. Next, I was greeted by a woman, who brought me into another room, where she performed four tests on my eyes, for measurements and determining my candidacy for the procedure. She then brought me to a final room for one last check. She told me I looked like a great candidate, and that someone else would be with me soon. Just a few moments later, I was greeted by another woman, who was exceedingly helpful in telling me how the procedure works, what to expect, and even the risks involved. All topics which I was educated on already, but it was appreciated nonetheless. I was told about the required eye drops which would be taken three days pre-op as well as afterwards, combined they cost me about 60 dollars. She also assured me that she would be in-office the day of my surgery, and ended up doing my one-month follow-up as well. I was told my measurements would just make the cut for regular LASIK, but that bladeless would be a safer plan. (This is typical of higher prescriptions such as mine). Next, I was brought into a small office, with another young woman. There, we scheduled my procedure date, just under two weeks from that day. We also discussed the price difference between blade/bladeless LASIK, which I wasn't made to pay until my procedure date. I was NOT treated differently than anyone else because I was a Groupon patient. I was treated with respect by all members of the staff throughout. That is important and appreciated! Lastly, much to my surprise, I got to sit down with Dr. Richard Gordon himself. Apparently, according to reviews from other LASIK centers, this isn't as common as you'd expect! Many patients don't even meet their doctor until a minute before their surgery! Dr. Gordon was calm, cool, and collected. He went over similar things which his assistant did just after my assessments earlier, and didn't graze over the possibilities side effects, or worse, ectasia, etc. I left that day feeling very confident in my decision, and looked forward to my procedure date. I'll make this part quick. The office was bustling with employees the day of my surgery, there must have been at least five people watching over my procedure, with Doctor Gordon at the helm. Everyone was positive, happy, and I was given a stuffed elephant to hold while I got zapped. Doctor Gordon has performed countless procedures, and his confidence shows, I felt safe the entire time. The procedure lasted maybe two minutes, and I was sent home right after to nap. I was able to help myself to the office bathroom immediately afterwards (with plenty of discomfort of course, but hey!) and I was able to speed down the highway 24-hours later (YOUR results may vary!) Following the procedure, was about a month of increased dryness, and mild visual aura around light source (Both common and temporary for most) ONE-MONTH POST OP - Dryness from the surgery has subsided, light sensitivity was gone after 24 hours, and my mild visual aura around headlights/street lamps has just about cleared up! Be responsible, and follow all pre/post-op care! If you couldn't already tell, I absolutely loved every minute of time spent with Palisades Laser Eye Center, the employees, and Dr. Gordon. GO HERE. Don't wait another day to be free of glasses or contacts. Again, be responsible, and follow all pre/post-op care!

I ended up getting lip fillers, fillings by my crows feet, tattoo removal and micro-blading. I'll list each one for those patients interested in anything I got. Tattoo Removal- I am currently on session 3 and my tattoos are practically gone. The lasering is painful regardless of numbing for me, but it is so fast that it doesn't make it a big deal. Comes to about 30 seconds for me. First I saw Caitlyn and now I see Katie and each person I have seen has been wonderful and informative. Fillers- Lip was easy, I bruised for the first week but the results lasted longer than the anticipated. My lips were nice and full for a little over a year. My crows feet didnt last long but for me they were my smile lines and totally expected. Microblading- Again, kind of painful. It was a process and my stomach growled the entire time. Katie and I both laughed about this which told me that I need a burger before my next session. I was told the results would last about 1yr. l still have full brows and its been about 2+ years since that time frame and people compliment me often on my brows and I have caught people talking about how nice they actually look. Dr Fugo and his staff work on not just creating a great relationship with their patients but also on the work that they do and it shows. I had surgery on my knee due to an injury and Katie took the time to personally email me and see how I am doing and that has meant a whole lot to me. Update: 3 years, almost $20k paid to a different surgeon to fix my body later, I finally built up…read morethe courage to post the photos of how my body looked after Dr. Fugo did my tummy tuck and convinced me I only needed to have lipo on my chest & that their would be little to no excess skin because of the lipo he claimed to use that would help retract the skin. I received a final cease and desist letter this week from his attorney after I posted a truthful review of my experience. I feel the only way to validate my story is to post the photos as proof of my claims of receiving horrible results to not only be truthful but to help someone else not endure what I went through. IMO i receivers horrible results. Most of the photos were taken between the 6-18 months post op mark of tummy tuck and lipo on my chest. I feel instead of sending threatening letters it would have been better to reach out and offer an apology and own up to the fact that maybe you didn't do a good job, and realistically offer some sort of refund. We are humans and make mistakes because no one is perfect but receiving the letter further caused emotional damage due to the fact that I am being nothing but truthful and have no malicious intent. This is my story, my body therefore I deserve to share it. I believe the photos below serve as vindication. Maybe some people won't feel the results were horrible but in my opinion they are. I have plenty more photos all of which are time stamped and can be validated. As I stated below: I was NOT offered a free revision I was told it would be 7k additional for him to fix his work. I was told that was a discount since I was HIS patient. It took me over 2 years to save enough money to have another surgeon FIX what Dr.Fugo was paid to do. Original Review: Horrible results. I had a tummy tuck and he recommended liposuction on my chest after massive weight loss and made my chest look 10x worse than it was. I feel the tummy tuck was botched, the incision was too short (which he admitted it was and needed to be extended) leaving me with a tremendous amount of excess skin in my flanks/ abdomen. When I called the day after my tummy tuck because I was experiencing issues that were not normal it seem like I was being a bother. IMO his bedside manner prior to the procedure was incredible but after the procedure he had a totally different attitude during follow ups when I addressed my concerns. I spent over $16k on the procedure and when I went in for a follow up he told me the incision needed to be extended and I would have to pay another 7k for him to fix HIS MISTAKE. I left and endured mental and emotional trauma for this, I had many emotional nights and couldn't even look in the mirror. I had to spend almost another 20k for a doctor to correct the mess he made. Thank God I found a doctor that was able to do a revision and fix the disaster that was made.I was ashamed to even post the pictures of the way Dr.Fugo left my body after the procedure with him but now I had no choice but to share them to help someone else who is choosing a surgeon. Too bad I wasn't one of the lucky patients that apparently had a good experience with him. My opinion is my opinion, my story is my story. I will let the after photos speak for themselves.

I have never been treated as though I were just a specimen sitting on the table - talking about me to the MA, rather than addressing me. I don't know if he treats all women with this kind of disrespect, or just everyone in general. I would never put my health in the hands of someone who can't even treat me like a person. In addition, their office/scheduling is very unorganized and their methods of communication are tedious. The front desk is OK, but I would not accuse them of being friendly. There really isn't anything I like about this business.

In the treatment room, Jessica was really helpful and made sure I understood everything that was happening. She was there to answer any questions I had. Booking appointments online was super easy, which made the whole process a lot smoother for me and actually the real reason why I came to Schweiger. They were listed on ZocDoc which is a site I love to use for finding good doctors in the area who accept your insurance instead of calling 30 offices. Overall, my experience at Schweiger Dermatology was great. The staff is friendly, the doctors are skilled, and I felt well taken care of. I'll definitely be going back for any future skin care needs. I will post a photo of clear skin after I remove the bandage, but seriously there was no pain, and it was sort of fun! I heard she also offers Botox and other cosmetic treatments you can check out.

(I checked in several times to see what was taking so long) It was clear they had made a mistake, perhaps the PA (Anita Fox) had left. Instead of being apologetic at all they had us see a PA that was their and available. (Jennifer Sala) She completely disregarded my concerns. When I tried to ask about getting a biopsy the doctor said they don't use any numbing agent in front of my 7 year old daughter, clearly making her very upset. What dermatologist doesn't use any numbing when taking a biopsy. Would never suggest going her unless you like waiting and are into pain.

I went for a breast reduction consultation and left his office feeling DISRESPECTED and…read morediscouraged. The doctor had ZERO bed-side manor. He didn't acknowledge anything I told him and when I asked questions he was very vague - I had to pry to get a real response to anything. It felt like the consultation was an inconvenience to him. I found him to be very disrespectful too. At one point I had to remove the paper "shirt" and he snatched it, ripping it. When he was done, instead of letting me cover up again, he continued to talk and then opened the door - potentially exposing me to the whole staff right outside. I had to rush to turn around and cover up with something. The office itself was very dirty/outdated. The chairs in the room were all stained and the paper from the last patient was still on the table. The staff were nice enough, but unprofessional - laughing and joking loudly behind the desk. I would never let this person come near me with a knife. Luckily for me, after a month they had still not sent my request to my insurance, so it was easy for me to find a different doctor. I found a professional doctor, with a hard-working staff, who did an amazing job.

Arrived for appointment, escorted right into my care room, the intake was expertly and nicely handled, felt very well tended to the entire time I was there. One nurse even held my hand (the sweetest, right?)! and during the procedure, someone from the team checks in on the Dr. and nurse to make sure they're doing okay, too! And ... little free samples, score that bonus :) Highly recommend!
