We enjoyed a wine tasting here and dinner for my birthday. We currently have our sons rehearsal dinner planned here. The owners of this establishment have been very professional, accommodating, and extremely communicative. Our dinner here for my birthday was some of the best service and food we've had in quite some time. I'm very excited to host a dinner for between 20 and 25 people in their "the other half "venue for his wedding. I'll post another review after that event and let you know how everything pans out, but thus far all of my interactions, communication, dinner, and otherwise have been exactly what I would expect for this type of venue.

If you are looking for the perfect spot to have a glass of wine or cocktail and an appetizer then look no further than Glass half Full. My husband and daughter loved their cocktails while I enjoyed an Italian wine flight. We enjoyed a delicious cheese board and they provided both regular and gf crackers. We had the delicious hummus, beet salad, and fries, too. Make this your next stop for a drink and appetizer.

Went recently for lunch. Loved the shrimp PoBoy. Homemade bun, great tasting shrimp with remoulade to make it pop. As usual a laid back vibe for a relaxing meal.

Okay you guys. We have now eaten here twice. Once in the spring and then more recently when we moved our daughter in for her sophomore year at UNC. This restaurant is tucked away on a side street so that you will miss it if you're not careful. That would be a tragedy. The atmosphere is delightfully cozy and the service is second to none. We sat outdoors both visits, but the indoor seating is super nice as well. Also unique is that this is a no tip required restaurant. They pay their staff a living wage, so you do have an option to pay a tip on your check but I believe 7 - 9% is the highest you can leave. On to the good stuff....at our last visit, we ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon Wontons. The only problem I had with these is there weren't enough!! OMG they were so good! For our entrees, we ordered the Hangar Steak, the Red Drum, and the Crab Cake. All three were absolutely amazing and beautifully plated! Our server was Lydia and she was incredible. So personable and very attentive and prompt. We also ordered two desserts...the creme brulee and then some sort of chocolate thing (I can't for the life of me remember the name of it). Suffice to say that they were both divine and not a morsel remained of either!! This will be a fave of ours in the Carrboro area going forward. I believe their menu changes frequently so I will be looking forward to fall dishes! Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

The place is quite small, with about five tables, and maybe 12 seats at the bar. We sat at the bar as we only wanted drinks and snack. Christian, the bartender, greeted us right away and brought food and drink menus. He explained the specials and took our drink orders. My companion found an interesting Greek white wine, and I asked for a boulevardier, my go-to cocktail for a new place. The wine was to her liking, and the cocktail was about the best example I've had in recent memory. Christian used Woodford Reserve bourbon and Campari rather than Aperol so it had a slightly less bitter taste and was a lovely auburn color. The food menu was very interesting, with lots of items we've never tried. We ordered caesar salad with anchovies, green beans in garlic-soup sauce, panella (a chick-pea and cream cheese dish), and seasoned French fries. It was all yummy and delivered together. The service we got really couldn't have been much better: attentive without hovering. The food and drink quality was outstanding, and we thought the prices were very reasonable for what we got. In short, thanks Christian, and we'll be back.

I loved the music-themed menu concept, it fits the atmosphere so well. It is a little dark and moody. I ordered the Punk Rock Riot (a vodka drink), and my partner got a whiskey drink. Both were excellent. The Friday night vibes were great, and we had a fantastic time sitting at the bar and soaking it all in. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it felt like a place where you could easily spend a few hours enjoying good drinks, music, and company. As a bonus, I found out they sell cake too! I didn't try it this time, but it's definitely on my list for the next visit. A patron recommended the strawberry cake. As I say in many of my reviews: I'll be back.

If you're looking for classic or unique craft cocktails, look no further. Atlas Bar rotates their menu seasonally (and then some). I've had summer cocktails, tea inspired cocktails, and recently fall (or Thanksgiving) themed cocktails. There are sweet and not so sweet and even savory choices. Don't be scared away from the more unique cocktails such as the "hot chicken"or the "cornbread." The cornbread cocktail was honey-butter fat-washed mellowcorn, nixta corn liqueur, honey-nixta foam and a quick favorite. The decor is funky and classy at the same time. The bartenders are chill and nice. You can park behind the building or in the lot next to Armadillo Grill (not Carr Mill Mall!). You can order small bites from ACME and all options are delicious.
