Luckily I have the text thread between us when they admitted the damage and said they would pay us back. He hadn't even paid us what we paid him ($717+) for replacing our broken windshield with another broken windshield and damaging our car extensively. I can post that Venmo transaction if anyone wants to see it. I will write another review to let potential clients know how Glassman resolves this issue - or does not. Came to our home and did $3000 damage to my Mercedes Benz. Replaced my cracked windshield with another cracked windshield. Tore out pieces of interior leather. Scratched interior leather and parts of exterior all around windshield. Had to have car towed to dealership. Siding of windshield blew off on highway. Nothing recalibrated ie windshield defrost, cameras, windshield seal not replaced. Installed a cheap Japanese brand windshield not compatible with car. Felt ring blowing through sides of windshield first time I drove it. Was at our home for hours. Left trash, equipment, black smudges inside car. Car was at Mercedes for 3 months being repaired. Zero damage to my car except cracked windshield prior to Chris Edward's service. At first said they would reimburse and make it right then refused. Sent a letter of demand from our attorney. Still refused to pay. Next step is a lawsuit. DO NOT USE!

While more impersonal, efficient never the less. In the economic of scale a business with this many outlets I sure it enhances their business model. Service was good. Staff was friendly. They encountered problems when trying to recalibrate the sensor, as the process failed numerous times. They had to get the OME windshield approved by my insurance. This process was extremely fast and the had the OME windshield installed and calibrated in less than a week. I was very pleased with my experience at Safelite on Oxmoor Road.

I got a confirmation text right away after scheduling. In addition, I got a confirmation text the day prior to the scheduled service. The timeframe given to me was 8a-12n. The morning of the service, I received a call from the technician James, informing me that I was last on his list for the day so he would likely be coming around 12 or 12:30 and asked if that was okay. I told him it was. He was very professional and polite. A little bit later in the morning he called to let me know he was delayed due to an issue with a prior installation and apologized for the inconvenience. He arrived about 1:30 and communicated his arrival. He was pleasant and professional throughout the service. They do not have a way to slide a credit card, but can manually enter the info. That was an issue for me as some of the numbers were worn off the card, so I thought I'd mention that. You can also pay online when you schedule it. The job was complete in the expected timeframe. I was instructed on care procedures as the glue/adhesive set. (Keep tape on for 24 hours, no car wash for a week, but rain is okay. Don't tint for at least a full week) Speaking of which, when I took it to get tinted, the technician was unable to place the tint as the metal between the deck panel and metal body underneath the back dash was too tight on the right side to apply the tint. This was not the case when it was first tinted, so I'm not sure what happened with that. Overall, great service. It cost me $560 dollars to replace the back windshield. There was no cost to remove the previous tint as the whole windshield was shattered and had to be replaced.
