I was rear ended while sitting at a red light about a month ago. My bumper had a few dents,…read morescratches, and a ripple. Fortunately, the responsible party had insurance through a reputable company. I was sent a link to choose a body shop for repair. After putting in my zip code, multiple places came up. This place had good reviews on Google and Yelp. All my interactions with the employees here were positive and straightforward. I dropped my car off on. Tuesday and picked it up Friday of the same week. My bumper looks great and the color match is perfect. I didn't have to pay since the other party in the accident was at fault. The quote and final bill were very reasonable (less than $1,500).

First of all my car, a Lexus, with great original paint is garage kept and looked great, except for…read morethe later described damage. It was smooth and black. I took my car in for repair to front bumper and to trunk (damage from garage door). Picked up my car and it was dusty, but I was going out of town and it was supposed to rain next few days so I didn't wash it. When I washed it about a week later I noticed grit all over the car, mostly on the trunk, roof, and hood. My car is black and if you looked close it looked like silver paint droplets. I took it back to Jim Lemonds. whose shop denied all damage, said I must have parked it under a tree, or some place where it was sprayed with something. They convinced me it "wasn't out fault", and told. me where I could take it, to have a clay compound, ("claybar") used to take the mysterious substance off of my car. So I took it to the detail sop recommended by Jim Lemonds, and the first thing "Porter" said was "this car has been oversprayed with paint". Porter had been detailing cars for 20 years and repeated several times that the mysterious substance was paint. $400 + tip later, and my car looked great, all the "overspray" gone! I wrote an angry text to the paint and body shop, reporting what the auto detailer had said. I got a text back fro Jim Lemond, the owner who offered to "claybar' my car, no charge, "AT MY SHOP". I texted back that I had already paid to have my car repaired from damage done at HIS SHOP. Why did his staff not offer to repair said damage when I first took it back? I texted Lemonds, I was open to offers. Have not heard back. To sum it up: 1: Took my black car in to have some damage fixed. 2: Jim Lemonds paint and body fixed the damage but oversprayed my whole car with silver. droplets of paint then refused to do anything about it. 4: Detailer said problem was Jim Lemonds' fault, repaired damage, cost me $400 +tip 5: Lemond (the owner) offered to repair his damage (too late) at his shop. 6: I'll never take my car to Jim Lemonds Paint and Body and neither should you!
