Such a magical B&B with a wonderful staff (and adorable and well behaved dog!). I had a great stay, the area is beautiful, and will absolutely come back and recommend. UPDATE: Forgot to mention the amazing breakfast!! Always delicious options and fresh homemade bread of different kinds every morning.

If anyone has plans to visit the Finger Lakes region of NY (or if you don't have plans to visit MAKE SOME RIGHT NOW!! TRUST ME!!) consider staying at the Glass Magnolia Bed and Breakfast - the place is incredible, centrally located, and the proprietors, Nancy, Wally, and their official greeter/tail-wagger Gus are AMAZING!! If I could give them 100 stars I would! We will definitely be back!!

We had opportunity to stay in the Good Love room this time, which includes a jacuzzi big enough for 2. Gina also was able to arrange a couples' massage in the room one afternoon which was just perfect. Breakfasts here are gourmet, and the hosts strike the perfect note of friendly and welcoming with giving you your space. I'm so glad we were able to get to know Tony and Gina this year and look forward to returning for the 2017 season. There are also quite a few restaurants within a 20 minute drive that are open through dinner time; Tony and Gina are quite knowledgeable and are always willing to provide recommendations, and they also have binders in every guest room full of area dining options, which includes hours and days open (and info on wineries too!)

Tony cooked up some great breakfasts - never had a granita in the am until then. I would highly recommend a stay here with just a few notes. We found our bed to be on the soft side, which was only an issue for us due to back problems. And if you are looking to be near a wide selection of restaurants that are open past 5, you may want to look closer to Ithaca.

Jen feels like that cousin you haven't seen in years and you can't wait to visit with during the next Thanksgiving family get together. She makes you feel like you are right at home and leaves you wanting for nothing during your visit. Jen helped us find some great restaurants in the surrounding area as well as helped us decide on which waterfall to visit for an extended hike. Now about the inn. The inn is old. That's the point. It's an old farm-style house and has been converted in to a super charming B&B. We stayed in the Blue Moon Suite where we had our own section of hallway with a king room and beautiful bathroom. The period touches to the suite were fantastic, with a wrought iron style bed frame, light fixtures and exposed brick chimney in the bedroom. Breakfast was something else altogether! Saturday morning Jen made a wonderful frittata with sweet potatoes, bacon and garlic. To. Die. For. Then Sunday she made a perfect French toast casserole from Challah bread. Keep in mind, she sources nearly all of her ingredients from local farms, wineries, and coffee roasters to ensure fresh, tasty foods! We will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend others to do the same! Oh, and I forgot, she has an inn cat who loves to get scratches behind the ears. Extra bonus stars for that!

Jim's breakfasts are delicious and Tammy's service with a smile is welcoming and informative. The location was just perfect for taking the winery boat tour which leaves from the dock next door, for visiting fabulous nearby restaurants, for hiking, and for visiting Ithaca/ Cornell/IC. The only change I would make is the next time I'd stay in a room facing the water--not only for the view but also with the hope that the lake breeze would make it fresher smelling. Our room (#1) was spacious, but had a very distinct musty smell that did not dissipate despite our keeping windows open with the overhead fan running and then trying the AC with windows closed. Our friends who stayed in a lake view room did not have the mustiness problem. p.s. I'd also suggest updating the towels and pillows. But, the sheets were really soft!

HIGHLY recommend the Gazebo room; it is a standalone room situated towards the back of the property and is very private and romantic. The decor is simple, yet elegant.
