Wow, the view gets the three stars, even if the owner paid some exorbitant amount for 800 square feet of living space. Not so organic, the front of the building is kind of sterile and hotel-ish for my taste, but I am probably jealous.
The layout of my friend's condo was bit funky and unnatural and there is hardly any closet space... Which makes it obviously a bachelor pad. Another friend of mine is waiting for his place to be done in the towers and the management totally messed up his plans and built him the wrong model. Supposedly, the management is not really doing much about it and even though he was supposed to have already moved in, he will have to wait at least another six months.
Little Raven Street, the street where most of these new Dwell-like Condos are popping up, is a mess of new construction and yuppies. The mixture of this pie equals high prices, no parking, vespas, and cruiser bikes.... Yet I still want to live down there... As it has brought a lot of community to the Riverfront.
Strategy: Buy a condo with a city view and get a homerun on the first date hands down
* Wow star one is for killer views on one side of the building and far away mountains on the other
** Shaky star two is for shiny glass that make some people in Denver think that Colorado has water
*** Our final and last star is for supporting urban dwellings
Star four was deconstructed due to high condo prices and no hot tub on the premises. read more
