Thank you to the Owner Ricardo from Glass 4 U for coming in just a short notice, to give us a estimate on our window repairs with a short turn around time. Ricardo and his team came and was professional on time, clean and respectful. I'm glad I looked passed the negative review of a FILTHY RAG! when I kept an eye out... they actually used disposable paper towels, (and the paper towels didn't come in to play until the end when he cleaned my mirror). I've attached some pictures of the Great worked done. I will totally used Glass 4 U again. Thank you Again :-) Happy Customer read more

The quality provided was amazing!! Prompt response, excellent work highly recommend. Our restroom looks beautiful. Thank you !

I was referred to Ricky by a wholesale mirror company when I wanted to replace the large mirror in my master bathroom. Ricky gave me a price over the phone that I thought was reasonable. When I checked and found that he is licensed I considered that a plus. He picked up the custom cut mirror from the wholesale company (I paid for directly) and brought it to my home. He removed my old one (and disposed of it for me) and installed the new one. He was easy to talk to and schedule a time for this job. He was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him. He also does showers and windows as well a mirrors. read more

Where should I start! The glass window to the side lite front door was accidently damaged on 6/26 and we needed to have the window fixed before this coming weekend. Other places told me that it was no longer made or had to be custom ordered. We contacted Ricardo via quote request and he immediately responded. Not only did he come measure within an hour, he replaced our glass same day . The glass looks exactly the same and beautiful. Very professional and reasonable prices. Ricardo did an amazing job! Recommend him beyond 100%. read more

Our frameless glass shower door had slid down in its hinge, preventing the door from closing. We reached out to a handful of companies on Yelp and were told by most that they don't service doors they didn't install, but would come out for a full shower door replacement. Ricardo from Glass 4 U on the other hand was quick to respond and assess what was needed through pictures I sent, provided a fair flat-rate estimate, and was able to come and do the repair within a few days. I wasn't present when the work was done, but he took the time beforehand to describe how he would do the repair, provided before/after pictures to show the work that he did, and then called me afterwards to arrange payment. Highly recommended for prompt responses, good communication, and honest/fair pricing. read more

I was looking for a large custom mirror that included a backlight. I called Ricky through the referral of a friend. He literally came out a day later to check our space and give me a quote. It only took one week for him to make our mirror and come by and install it. He's very reliable, kind, and I highly recommend him for any mirror/glass needs you have! read more

I needed a 15-inch round of 1/4-in. Glass for a side-table my neighbor's boys had cracked. This guy quoted over $175- and when I questioned the price his explanation was "I've gotta make a living too". This is price-gouging. I would not waste your time asking for a quote. read more

Highly recommend! On the recommendation of a family friend who has used Ricardo's services before, I called him when unexpectedly a glass pane in a window in our living room broke. We needed it fixed as soon as possible. (No surprise there.) Ricardo was very responsive and he had just finished a job just then, so could come immediately! I sent him a picture of the window and he was able to offer me a quote and tell what kind of glass window pane we had. He is very responsive, definitely knows windows and is affordable. (We paid twice what he charged us when we worked with someone else several ago.) You get up to date quality, too. He installed something additional to make the glass more secure. I wouldn't go to anyone else for any glass needs (window or any other) and I'll be recommending him to friends with glass needs. read more

Shout out to GLASS 4 U! Prompt response, on time, easy to communicate, professional team. I reached out to GLASS 4 U to make a custom fit glass top to protect my furniture from getting scratched. I spoke with Ricardo and he was able to get me in ASAP. The sooner the better for me because my kids will scratch my lovely furniture up. It gets better turn around time was faster then others I contacted. Ricardo and George installed glass top. I'm very pleased with GLASS 4 U and will recommend to family and friends. Ricardo V. was extremely easy to work with and gave me a reasonable quote for a small job. He is honest, straightforward, and direct. He is also careful not to damage anything around the windows when removing the frames. After replacing our broken window, he cleaned the other panes which did not need repair even though this is something I might have done before he arrived. I will definitely request Ricardo for a bigger job next year for window replacement. read more

Ricardo did a great job replacing our large dual pane window. He came when promised, and did excellent work for a fair price.

Ricardo came out and installed some really nice glass doors for my Air B&B after we remodeled it. It was a small job and awakened getting panels up to my unit. Had other glass contractors refuse due to the extra hassle. Ricardo never said a thing about the difficulties getting the panels up to my unit. His price was very competitive compared to other contractors who wanted to charge me a ridiculous fee just to get the panels up. Doors have held up nicely thanks to his recommendations for the extra coating on the glass. Would Recommend 10 out of 10 read more

I was a little careless, and I broke one of the sidewalls on my shower enclosure. I thought oh great how long is this gonna take to get fixed so I called about three or four companies and everybody was booked solid for a couple weeks. Nobody could even come and look at the job to give me an estimate, except Ricardo. He came the same day gave me an estimate and promised me to have the door by Friday and it was already Tuesday. Lo and behold there he was Friday with the glass installed it. Everything's great I couldn't be happier. read more

Needed to have a large mirror (8 ft by 3 ft) removed from a wall and moved to another room to allow access for another contractor. Ricardo had me send pictures of the mirror, then gave me an estimate of the cost (definitely NOT cheap, but I was in a bind with timing for the other contractor). I accepted the bid, he gave me a window of time, arrived well within the window and completed the project. Both Ricardo and his team member, George, were pleasant and competent. Nice to have it taken care of. I feel comfortable recommending this business to others. read more

I found Ricardo thru searching for a shower installer in my area (Van Nuys) and thank goodness I found him. He was very helpful with guiding me thru the process of picking the right shower door and it save a lot of time for me. He was patient and was really knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Ricardo. He was able to work with my friend who was covering for me while I was out of town and he also sent me a photo when the shower door was installed. He is very patient and kind and I wouldn't work with anyone else. A rare find that is for certain. This door was installed before the final drywall and paint was completed but I was very happy with the installation. read more

The pictures of the green bathroom are me. Ricky was recommended to me by my tile guy, and he did not disappoint. We went through two different shades of gold hardware, but he stayed with it and got it just right. The glass looks great and finished out our bathroom remodel. GLASS 4 U VAN NUYS - BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL!!! If I could give a Zero rating I would have, Ricardo came by with a helper on Monday, Aug 7th, 2023 for the set appointment to re-glue my bathroom mirror. He arrived missing one suction cup and a filthy rag which he placed on my bathroom counter, the other guy was in the truck searching for the other suction cup which he did not find, Recado told me that they are missing one suction cup and they cannot do the job today but will be back at 6:00 pm to do the project. I received a text from Recardo at 5:00 pm saying they are unable to pick up the suction cup until sometime the next day (Tuesday 8th) and asked to reschedule, I text Recardo back to please advise the earliest he can come back on Tuesday 8th but he did not respond, I called no response, today is Wednesday 9th with no communication from him or the company Glass 4 u , meanwhile my bathroom stinks from the filthy rag they brought to my home, this company is not a professional company Recardo is totally unreliable and unprofessional, much less to say about his helper, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY DO NOT DO BUSIBNESS WITH THEM AT ALL!!! read more
