Our family and dog are very traumatized by our dog's shaved grooming. I only want to let you know…read moreso they don't do this again to another client's dog. This is a Coton de Tulear, not a dog that is shaved.  This is a long hair dog, She is now not protected by her coat for sun etc.  This was her first grooming as she is still a puppy of 8 months old. I have brushed her daily and she only had a few areas under her paws that had problems  with matts.  Which they asked if it was OK to cut those out and I said yes, but not to shaving her WHOLE body. When i gave Riley to the groomer , I said this was her first grooming and I just wanted a trim for a Coton! if they had researched my dog, no Coton I have ever seen has been shaved. They should of called me and asked if it was OK to shave her. I feel they took the easy and fast way out to just shave her instead of bathing her, and brushing her and doing a cut.  I have been taking really good care of her and her coat. This was a really big mistake that we have to live with for a very long time. I hope it doesn't happen to your DOG!!!

The second visit started out more like a 3.5 star and changed to a 5 star. The receptionist was very nice, the first groomer was pretty gruff with our dog. Her haircut was great on her face and body, but the feet were long. We actually brought her back to a different groomer at Club Mutts, and the entire staff was great. Very nice to her, apologetic, and moved their schedules around to fix her cut. They handled the whole thing so well. We think it was just a one time incident and definitely will be back. We recommend Club Mutts to others as well!!!

I was picking up within business hours but told I was late. Apparently they left message about closing early. So, they stated they are overbooked and busy when I came in yet they unexpectedly closed early? Also, claimed it's my fault I did not get message they'd sent a little over an hour earlier asking me to pick up dog now.... Really?? The early closure and pick up was not relayed at drop off. There was also blood on entry floor. When I pointed it out it was like not big deal.... It was there when I picked up dogs.

If she would have called me prior I would have come and got the dog and brought it to another groomer. I've been having these dogs groomed for over 11 years every 5-6 weeks and this was my worst experience. Her response to another review of mine is a total lie, my dog's beard was not total matted, it never gets matted. I have pictures of the dogs 1 week prior. I don't think this lady has a dog brush? Both dogs had horrible chopped up cuts, nothing close to a schnauzer cut. This is the first time I ever gave a groomer a negative review, I just don't want someone else to experience something like this.

I wish I could give this a ten. Everyone here is passionate about taking care of the dogs. I've…read morementioned before that we have a FI collar on my dog (gps and Fitbit for dogs). When he is here he gets a crazy number of steps which means he is active and engaged throughout the day. He isn't just kenneled in a holding space for the day. I want my dog to have a great day when I need him to have a safe place to be. He does that here. We also got a bath today and he smells great and his fur is so soft. Just love Top Dog! We will be back again and again.

You have to walk through and wash right…read morewhere they are doing their work; the floors are wet and full of hair, there are dogs everywhere in crates and possibly loose like there were today (2 who were not tethered to anything), the soap is in a 1 gallon jug and watered down (so they say you can pour it directly on your dog easily), the tiled area around the tub is rusty, you have to step away from the tub area to get a towel. All in all very poor if you are looking for a quality location to self-wash your dog. Have not used their grooming service so I won't speak to that side of their business but the square footage seems too small for that combined with a self-wash. We won't be going back.

Then this last groom they skinned the inside of Teddy Bears left rear leg below the skin. I've been a customer for about 3 years with them, the same groomer who is an Instructor there. They never informed me they injured my dogs. Nor did they seek to make amends when I reported Shadows injuries. I have pictures of both injuries.
