The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is Alicia, she is very professional and amazing at what she does. Why I'm finally leaving a review is the communication issue. Happens with both sides of the business but seems to be worse for the cosmetics. I call and nobody answers and I have to leave a voicemail. I get it, sometimes they are busy and not able to get to the phone. The problem is it happens 90% of the time and when I leave a message it is not returned. Last week I left a message Monday afternoon I got a call back Tuesday morning and unfortunately missed it I called right back to get the voicemail again left another message there was no call back. Called Wednesday left a message no call back called Thursday left a message and still have not received a call. I have also tried their texting system which sometimes they get back to me after two days. Now I know you can make an appointment online and normally I would the problem I have is that for the cosmetic section there are no prices on the services such as lasers, facials, peels etc.. I'm not gonna make an appointment when I have no idea how much something cost. I have spent so much money here, it's not like they've cornered the market I can get these same things done at my plastic surgeons office or at another spa I go to regularly. I chose to stay at good skin because of Alicia but I will no longer spend money with a company who can't be bothered to answer the phone or return a phone call. This is probably the fourth time this has happened and I'm over it.

I've done laser hair removal before and the first experience…read morewas terrible. I deal with quite dark facial hair and shave on a daily basis. After one treatment here, i already can tell a huge difference! My face is smoother, and hair is less noticeable. There is some pain in not going to lie, but it really is tolerable. I also love the after care used, really makes you feel taken care of. I have many more treatments to go but am very excited to see the result!

I asked if the 2-3x per year was forever, and was told "No, not forever! Only while you're alive. Hair doesn't grow after you die". They stress that a reduction in hair growth (and not full removal) of 60-75% is the best I could hope for. I was also told my skin was very damaged, and I would need photo facial services almost everywhere I was looking to get laser hair removal (under chin, legs, bikini, underarms). I'm 32 and have since been asked about my great complexion. Additionally, I've subsequently found out the "laser" there is not a laser. I'm not an expert, but from pictures on their website, it's a Palomar StarLux 500, which uses Intense Pulse Light or IPL, and is somewhat outdated (and relatively inexpensive) technology. With what was being charged for a year of sessions, I could pay for the machine myself. Overall, I felt pretty self conscious after my initial consultation and wondered if my presupposed budget was wildly off base. After talking to friends and other businesses, this is by far the most expensive package I could find, and it doesn't have the technology, results, or added value to merit the price.
