I'm glad to see that other ratings also reflect my sentiment! I've been receiving laser treatments at Luxe for around three years. I've never had a bad experience - every clinician has been so friendly and welcoming. The first mishap I've had with the business happened last week - scheduling misunderstanding. Immediately after it happened, the owner of the business called me directly, offered many apologies, and offered me 50% off the rebooked service. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and at ease with the situation. I knew this place was a gem before, but, now, I have no doubt! Keep up the good work, y'all. read more

Nadine is absolutely amazing. She is attentive to client's needs and desires, compassionate and very skilled at her work. I came in yesterday evening for a routine touch-up and she did a wonderful job. I have been going to Luxe for several years now and will continue to make sure all of my appointments moving forward are with Nadine as I am very impressed and pleased with the results. read more

Luxe Laser is a cozy shop upstairs in a house full of businesses on NE Broadway. Their spaces are spotless and their staff is welcoming. Their equipment is top notch, and treatments are highly effective. I have had hair removal services at several local businesses, and cannot recommend Felicia at Luxe Laser highly enough. She is meticulous and thorough in the treatment space, and her professional demeanor is both grounding and calming. Whenever someone asks me about hair removal, I send them to her! read more

Way way back in the 90s when I was a teenager with PCOS and dinosaurs still roamed the lands, I was in some of the original trials of laser hair removal. I dropped out because even with numbing cream, I could not tolerate the experience. In the late 2000s I tried again, and had great results but the cost was exorbitant so I couldn't continue and returned to misery of waxing, tweezing, and shaving. FAST FORWARD TO THE FUTURE... WHICH IS LUXE LASER, AND HERE! Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I found Luxe Laser, and more specifically, Amber. Not only is she a total pro with the laser, she is a lovely human who exemplifies genuine kindness, acceptance and makes even the most modest of us feel comfortable in the most vulnerable positions. Initially I went in just to laser my face, but between the nearly pain free experience, the incredible results I got from just one treatment, the surprisingly affordable prices and most importantly the level of comfort Amber provides, I quickly started adding other areas. I'm slowly planning to laser every part of my body that has hair I want gone. Full disclosure that laser does provide the best results for those with light skin and dark hair, which for the first time in my life I can say I'm "lucky" to have. For my limited light hairs that are less reactive to laser, I am seeing a fantastic electrologist at Ally Electrolysis. I chose to shout her out here because I want anyone reading this to have access to resources that can help them live their best body hair free life. Y'all, this has legitimately been life changing. I no longer have to plan my life around hair growth cycles, skin irritations, breakouts and hair removal which plagued me for nearly 30 years now. Gone are the days of countless hours of hair removal efforts and expensive waxing appointments. My skin is much more clear, my confidence is up and my general mental health has vastly improved. By speaking my truths and the gospel of Luxe Laser, one of my family members is now planning trips to visit to coincide with starting her laser hair journey with Amber. To all my friends beautifully representing and spanning the full spectrum of gender, Amber is a champion of gender affirming care and will make you feel welcome. You deserve to live your best authentic life, and if body hair is limiting that in any way, Luxe Laser is the answer. read more

Emma was amazing! I have been putting off laser for years because I am terrified of pain and thought it would hurt too bad. My daughter had it done and said it wasn't too bad. Emma made sure I was ok during the entire procedure. It wasn't bad at all! read more

No regrets! This was worth every dollar. It has been amazing to see the results. I went in at the beginning of 2020 and it's almost the end of 2023. I've recommended Luxe Laser to several friends. Highly recommended. You won't regret it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. read more

I just had my first treatment, as this was my Christmas gift from my husband this year, and all I can say is, "Wow!" I have no idea why I waited so long to enjoy the benefits of laser hair removal. It was SO much more cost effective than I expected, the service was outstanding - professional but also comfortable, and the pain was non-existent. Really! I had an extended bikini area and underarms done and it took me longer to undress and get dressed again than it did to complete the entire treatment to both areas. My first service was 2 full weeks ago and I still haven't had to shave my underarms yet and they are perfectly smooth. AMAZING! I would recommend this place to everyone. You will not regret it if you don't enjoy shaving. Do it! read more

Veronica did an amazing job making me feel comfortable when I was more than a little nervous. Made the whole process easy and pleasant; very happy to keep coming back. read more

The positive reviews are certainly accurate for luxe laser. I've had 9 total laser treatments and have found it to be effective and the staff are lovely. Better yet, when I mentioned a slight miscommunication concern, I received a very fair and prompt response to resolve the issue early on. All the techs are great but I personally recommend Manu for laser treatment. I will look into their face laser/microneedling treatment next since they did such a great job with the laser. I also appreciate that they post their prices online and are very communicative around appointment times. read more

Luxe Laser has literally transformed my skin for the better. I can't recommend them enough! Felicia has been my go-to for over a year and she's incredible. Great advice, knowledgeable, patient and has done wonders for my skin. I've had a few treatments done: laser hair removal (if you're hesitating about doing it, DO IT! Worth every penny), laser genesis, hydrafacial, and regular dermaplaning. The laser hair removal is easy, quick and has solved all ingrown hair issues that waxing can cause. I've had horrible acne/acne scars for as long as I can remember and laser genesis, the hydrafacial and dermaplaning treatments have made all the difference in clearing it up. If you're reading this, it's a sign to book an appointment. read more

I started getting laser hair removal (LHR) in October and recently had my second session with Alicia. Arrive early at your first session so you can fill out some paperwork, ask questions if you need to and they'll help you answer them! Once you're done with the paperwork, they'll take you into the laser room. Friends can come in too (as long as they wear the special glasses)! She starts off by cleaning and putting some gel on the area and then does a quick zap at a low setting and starts building up until you've reached your tolerance. To me, the zap feels like that gag gum prank where someone offers gum and once you pull on it, you get shocked. The whole process is over before you know it. Aftercare instructions are given. They no longer take tips on card transactions, which I didn't know and had no cash on me, but Alicia was super understanding since it was a recent change. Make sure to bring some cash if you want to tip! read more

Super friendly and professional! The lasers they use are also very nice and barely even pinch! They are also super trans friendly and welcoming! read more

I've been to Luxe Laser twice for micro-needling and once for laser hair removal. I've seen Felicia for all three. Felicia is amazing and professional! When I came in for micro-needling, she was very thorough in her explanation of the treatment and didn't make me feel rushed or as if I was asking too many questions. She let me know about the after-care and skincare products available to purchase without being pushy. During the Brazilian laser hair removal, she made conversation with me during the process which helped take my mind off of the feeling of the laser. I love Luxe Laser and I'll be back! read more

This was my first time getting laser, and I was very nervous! However, the person I talked to on the phone answered all my questions thoroughly and put me to ease. Amber, who did my laser hair removal, was very respectful and there was consent every step of the way. I can't speak to results because it's too early, but I'm certain it will be great. I was so surprised how little it did hurt, even in my most sensitive areas. If you're also a trans person, please do yourself a favor and get laser here! I never write reviews on Yelp, so you know they really did that great of a job. My only regret is not realizing that you can only tip in cash and not being able to tip as much as I would have liked, I'll be sure to make up for it next time. Be sure to bring cash to tip accordingly! read more

Another great decision I've made for myself was to treat myself to laser hair removal because my self care is top priority to me. Felicia has been my go-to gal and she's been so amazing. She's knowledgeable, friendly, personable and professional - she's everything and she's so appreciated. I made this decision a little blindly and wasn't sure what exactly to expect as I've honestly never even gone in for a wax. I wasn't sure if I could handle the pain but it is bearable and over before you know it. Felicia provided me with so much information - it was and still is super helpful to understand what the process is like and what I can expect with each appointment. And I always appreciate the after care text messages I receive after leaving my sessions. I love that they are also so quick and very efficient. I've only been in for 4 sessions so far and I've already noticed great results (tbh I even noticed it only after the 2nd session). I can't wait to see the long term results. They are tucked right off of Broadway. Cute little spot - clean and welcoming. Parking can be a little tricky but I've been able to find a spot right in front or off in the side streets. Pricing is very fair and well worth it! Their operating hours are so accommodating especially if you're working long hours through the week - it's great to know they are open until 9pm. read more

I love this place! Manu and Nicole are so kind and welcoming. They are so down to earth and answer any questions you may have! Having your coochie out and getting lasered seems like it would be vulnerable, but they are so personable and spark such good conversation you almost forget what's going on down there! haha it's always a quick appointment and they make it as painless as possible. I am already noticing awesome results after just 2 appointments!! read more

Emma such an amazing tech. Her work is great and I never have an issue with her. She has great customer service and is very knowledgeable in the work she does. I had IPL done with Manu and I am really happy with the experience. She was super patient with me when I needed breaks - it's a bit zappy. She was very thorough. I brought my partner here as a Christmas present as they were really wanting laser hair removal. We saw Manu who was not only incredibly kind and understanding but incredibly knowledgeable and informative. My first contact with Luxe Laser was through their website. I filled out an inquiry form and was contacted by phone within the half-hour by RaeAnna. She answered all of my questions, booked my appointment, and put me on a waitlist for earlier appointments. I was lucky enough to catch an opening earlier and went to my first visit in late March. Felicia was my laser technician; she explained everything I needed to know and patiently answered all of my questions before getting started. The session itself was fairly short, and Felicia made sure I was doing okay throughout. Since then, the folks at Luxe have been helpful at answering any follow-up questions I had. I can't say enough good about Luxe so far; I'm looking forward to my next session! read more

Had 2 sessions with Manuela for Brazilian laser hair removal. I saw results from the first the beginning, I love it . Manuela was professional ,quick and none judgmental. It took me long time to finally decide to get Brazilian , I was shy and super uncomfortable . Manuela made me feel relaxed and comfortable. . I'm glad I went through with it. read more

I've been coming to Luxe laser consistently for the past 6 months and have only great things to say about Nicole. She's super thorough with her laser treatments, extremely knowledgeable and kind. I fully trust her and am grateful to have her as my esthetician! On a broader note, Luxe Laser has a welcoming team, clean rooms, and I never feel like I'm being pitched to for more treatment. I'm super impressed and always looking forward to my next appointment! read more

Have been coming here for quite sometime now to get facial hair removal w/ Manu. Overall, the service is great with her. She makes you feel at home, relaxed, & comfortable. Incredible experience as i still keep coming here to get my services done! Highly recommend her. read more

Luxe is amazing! As a trans-feminine person I was very nervous when I first came in to consult about getting laser hair removal but Felicia's obvious experience and acceptance of my presence in the clinic was immediately calming for me. She then very clearly explained the process to me and answered all my questions which gave me the confidence to start the process. Her gentle care throughout my sessions with her and the fun conversations we have every time I come have kept me coming back to Luxe again and again. When I finally started doing LHR on my facial hair, I was again very nervous about the amount of pain that would be involved, Felicia again helped me understand what to expect and gave me some great advice on how to prepare for those sessions to make the experience more comfortable. Felicia has also shared a bunch of excellent after-care tips with me, and gently warned me about the dangers of sun-exposure when let her know I wasn't being careful enough about applying sun screen. My results from LHR have been fantastic, and now I can't imagine having gone anywhere else, and I can't imagine having anyone besides Felicia as my esthetecian (though I'm sure everyone at Luxe is great!). read more

After struggling with facial hair issues and Rosacea for over a decade, I finally decided to splurge and get laser hair removal and intense pulsed light for the redness. Luxe Laser's extensive service options and terrific prices are brilliant! Aesthetician Manu is terrific. With her excellent "bedside manner", kindness and grace I have not felt at all embarrassed, and her skills have improved my appearance dramatically (100%). I no longer have to pluck for half an hour, and do not have to wear a butt load of foundation! Thank you Manu! See you soo! read more

Wonderful experience for a newly out trans woman Luxe Laser was my first 'gender confirming' procedure, started even before HRT, and Mariana was the best possible person to work with. She was patient and understanding and really listened to what I specifically wanted. We talked and laughed together, and it was the most fun I've ever had while receiving small, painful zaps every few seconds. read more

Luxe Laser has opened my eyes at the possibility of removing a mistake from the past at a reasonable price. Their office is comfortable, clean, and inviting. The staff is friendly and professional. My appointment was at 11:45 and by 12:30p I was on the road and had my next appointment scheduled. Their prices are awesome and the laser doesn't hurt nearly as badly as I had anticipated. They offer numbing but I was able to have this completed without the use of it. I would recommend them to anyone considering removing a tattoo or hair removal. They know their stuff, are informative, and most of all, they want to make sure you're comfortable throughout the entire process. I can't wait for my next session. I will be adding pics after each one for those interested in seeing the progression of a black tattoo that was touched up several times and is pretty raised. read more
