I just had my first treatment, as this was my Christmas gift from my husband this year, and all I can say is, "Wow!" I have no idea why I waited so long to enjoy the benefits of laser hair removal. It was SO much more cost effective than I expected, the service was outstanding - professional but also comfortable, and the pain was non-existent. Really! I had an extended bikini area and underarms done and it took me longer to undress and get dressed again than it did to complete the entire treatment to both areas. The positive reviews are certainly accurate for luxe laser. I've had 9 total laser treatments and have found it to be effective and the staff are lovely. Better yet, when I mentioned a slight miscommunication concern, I received a very fair and prompt response to resolve the issue early on. All the techs are great but I personally recommend Manu for laser treatment. I will look into their face laser/microneedling treatment next since they did such a great job with the laser. I started getting laser hair removal (LHR) in October and recently had my second session with Alicia. Arrive early at your first session so you can fill out some paperwork, ask questions if you need to and they'll help you answer them! Once you're done with the paperwork, they'll take you into the laser room. Friends can come in too (as long as they wear the special glasses)! She starts off by cleaning and putting some gel on the area and then does a quick zap at a low setting and starts building up until you've reached your tolerance. To me, the zap feels like that gag gum prank where someone offers gum and once you pull on it, you get shocked. The whole process is over before you know it. Aftercare instructions are given. They no longer take tips on card transactions, which I didn't know and had no cash on me, but Alicia was super understanding since it was a recent change. Make sure to bring some cash if you want to tip! read more

This was my first time getting laser, and I was very nervous! However, the person I talked to on the phone answered all my questions thoroughly and put me to ease. Amber, who did my laser hair removal, was very respectful and there was consent every step of the way. I can't speak to results because it's too early, but I'm certain it will be great. I was so surprised how little it did hurt, even in my most sensitive areas. If you're also a trans person, please do yourself a favor and get laser here! Another great decision I've made for myself was to treat myself to laser hair removal because my self care is top priority to me. Felicia has been my go-to gal and she's been so amazing. She's knowledgeable, friendly, personable and professional - she's everything and she's so appreciated. I made this decision a little blindly and wasn't sure what exactly to expect as I've honestly never even gone in for a wax. I wasn't sure if I could handle the pain but it is bearable and over before you know it. Luxe is amazing! As a trans-feminine person I was very nervous when I first came in to consult about getting laser hair removal but Felicia's obvious experience and acceptance of my presence in the clinic was immediately calming for me. She then very clearly explained the process to me and answered all my questions which gave me the confidence to start the process. Her gentle care throughout my sessions with her and the fun conversations we have every time I come have kept me coming back to Luxe again and again. When I finally started doing LHR on my facial hair, I was again very nervous about the amount of pain that would be involved, Felicia again helped me understand what to expect and gave me some great advice on how to prepare for those sessions to make the experience more comfortable. Felicia has also shared a bunch of excellent after-care tips with me, and gently warned me about the dangers of sun-exposure when let her know I wasn't being careful enough about applying sun screen.
