The lady was very sweet, and repeatedly asked if everything was ok with my pedicure. She was rightly tipped as well! My gel manicure was a whole different story! The manicurist was very, very sick that day, and against my better judgement I decided to go on with my manicure. :(. Both of them take their time and always stop to ask if you are comfortable and happy with the shape, color, etc. They place extra emphasis on prepping your nails before polish, which is one of the reasons I think my nails last so long. Please keep in mind that it is only the two of them working, so they may not be able to take you on short notice. The salon is new, beautiful and impeccably clean. I chatted with Lisa and the owner throughout my pedicure and learned about how much attention and thought goes into nearly every detail of La Muse. They have a whole line of organic gels that are apparently not damaging to nail beds (Eek! The dream!!) and they were so excited to share that with me after I mentioned totally giving up on gels. On top of a great pedi, Lisa was so wonderful to talk to and the massage chair was just too perfect. After a busy and slightly stressful work day, this was all just such a wonderful treat. For their standard pedicure, it was $35, they also do mini pedis for $25. It's a bit pricier than what I typically pay, but you are paying for the quality. I can't wait to come back!

Some were great for a short while but after some time started falling short of my standards. That has not been the case here. I have been booking services at Lavo for around 5 months now and my nails have never looked better. For starters, they have an all-star receptionist. She is so kind and helpful and on top of her job! They are a very busy salon and yet I never have trouble booking an appointment. They are as accommodating as can be. Even when they miss my phone call, I instantly receive a call or text back. I have been serviced by several nail technicians and they are all so very talented. I never bother booking with a specific tech because I know that no matter who I see, they will do an amazing job I was recommended doing soft gel manicures and it has been the best decision ever made. My career is very physical so i would often have a lot of wear and tear on my nails but not with soft gel. The gel polish never chips and my nails have never been stronger. I am usually able to go 4 weeks with my nails still looking great but ready for a fill. I love this salon and as long as I live within a drivable distance I will never change. They are cash or zelle/venmo only. So be prepared. And in my opinion they are charging fairly for services considering the quality of the work. Thanks Lavo!
