I am so glad I found Glam MedSpa and decided to do the one-on-one Aesthetic Injections training here. The one-on-one training I received here was absolutely amazing! Cynthea thoroughly went over all there is to know about Botox/Dysport and the different dermal fillers, but most importantly she taught me how to be a SAFE injector! I was also able to do a lot of hands on with her, which is important to me because I learn best this way. Let me tell you! Cynthea is AMAZING! I was soo nervous about getting my lips done even though I have been want to do them since forever! But I mean it is your face her! But she made me feel sooo comfortable and confident in my decision and her ability! Especially since I apparently have difficult lips of course! When I originally went in I left a little disappointed not being able to get filler that day BUT she had explained how my upper lip flips in and she could do filler that day but I would not be happy with results for what I was wanting do she recommended doing botox on my lip that first visit to reverse/calm the flipping so we did that and I rescheduled for 2wks later. The botox made a difference that i noticed and didnt realize even existed! Lol I was like okay she knows what she doing! 2wks later I was back for my filler! She talked me through every step of exactly what she was doing and constantly asked how I felt it it looked! I was sooo happy with the end results! I came here in hopes they could work magic and correct what had been done to my lips at another practice. I have happy tears because my lips are absolutely gorgeous and symmetrical!!! I came to Abbey with an asymmetrical top lip. There was a noticeable "ball" of filler that was placed incorrectly. Abbey examined my lips and gave me her best advice. She was so meticulous about where to place the new filler I knew I was in amazing hands!!! Hands down I will be going back for any and all filler or treatments!!! I have gone to someone different for my Botox for several years. Haven't had it in a while just due to all that's going on and trying to save money. I saw this Groupon special and decided to try them. Terrible! Have no idea what this girl did. She did three to four injections right by my eye after I showed her what area I was concerned with right below the eye. I had been a member of this spa I believe about 1.5 yrs. Was a client of Cynthea's. Last summer I had my usual botox & my left eye started to droop just a bit. I know this can happen with botox & also know this was completely inadvertent. I contacted them and was scheduled to see Becky to come up with a "future plan for treatment". Becky was super nice and did agree there was slight drooping. Becky advised the best thing to do was to let the botox wear off. I asked about a possible small credit of some sort. Becky took pictures, advised she would speak with Cynthea and someone would get back to me which never happened. I reached out via e-mail fairly upset for no one contacting me. Cynthea did respond. Bottom line was Cynthea advised "medications are not refundable". I NEVER asked for a complete refund but a small credit of $50. Maybe even a reduction of price for a future service would have been appropriate. Afterall, my eye was drooping! As I stated before I know this was inadvertent however, being a member some sort of compensation should have been offered, any small gesture to show they care. In my line of business when someone makes a mistake that causes some inconvenience to a client we always send a small gift card (a token) just something to show we care & in the hopes they stay with us. I just found it completely shocking that a request for a $50 credit was out of the question. I have no opinion on the work this spa does but will say I hope you don't experience anything like I did and if you do, don't expect anything to be done about it. Very sad for an establishment that claims they are a professional business. read more
